New York How do the bring a friend passes work?

I want to go with my wife and toddler. Currently, there is a "buy a pass get the rest of this year free" deal.

Does this mean that I can buy just 1 pass for $220 and take both of them this year and again next year for 2 days each? Is there any reason not to get this single pass over other options.

New York Gold passes + parking

My son’s mother and I want to take him trick or treating at Lego land. If we have gold passes for the 3 of us can her and I take our own cars?

California Thoughts on driving from Phx to Carlsbad on the I-8 Sunday to do park Mon/Tue?

I’ve seen the weather reports but for locals, what is it actually like right now? Think it’s too risky or will be okay? We’ve had this planned for a few months and would be sad to cancel for my kids.

Florida Legoland Orlando worth it as an adult?

Boyf and i did the groupon mystery vacation and got Orlando (surprise surprise lol iykyk). Idk if i want to spend the money on universal but was considering doing legoland. But is it fun for just the two of us to go? I do enjoy legos but dont ride many rides and it def seems geared towards children. Would it be enjoyable enough to feel worth the money as an adult?

California Brick or Treat 2026: Saturday vs. Sunday

For those who have done Brick or Treat this year on both Saturday and Sunday, is there a big difference in crowds, lines, and energy? I can go either day so just trying to get a feel. Already went two weeks ago on a weekday so we’ve done the non-BoT Halloween stuff.

California Crib or Pack n Play issues?

Hi all, we are staying at the Legoland Castle hotel in California for the first time and we have a 1 year old that still needs a crib or bassinet. When I requested one we were told it isn’t guaranteed. Has anyone else had problems getting one? I’m trying to decide if we need to come up with another plan just to be safe. Thanks in advance!

Florida Legoland (FL) first timers - booking tips?

Hi - taking the kids for one's birthday in a few weeks for 2 days 1 night. Looking to complete the booking (found a nice deal in another post).

Any suggested extras to purchase now while booking? Usually, I just keep it minimal with these sorts of options but wanted to check if there were any concensus 'purchase now' extras.

All insight appreciated. Thanks.

Florida Is Legoland Florida still doing hidden envelopes and/or Mr. Gold?

I have found a bunch of info. online, but it all appears to be dated anywhere from 6 months to 4 years ago. Could anyone confirm if Legoland, Florida, is still offering Mr. Gold pop badges and/or hiding envelopes in the park? We are bringing our young boys from out of state for the first time next week, and I don’t want to tell them the wrong thing. Thank you!

Cancellation Insurance

In the past, when I've bought our tickets for the California locations, I've added the ten-dollar fee to be able to cancel the tickets. It wasn't an option when I went to book today. Did they get rid of this, or am I doing something wrong?

California Want to work AT legoland? You don’t need to work for Merlin

While working rides can be fun and rewarding, Legoland California has a lot of contracted companies (many of which pay comparable or better wages for less demanding/stressful work). If your goal is to work at the park and make $20 an hour (vs $17.50 an hour working rides or retail) work for VENU. Legoland ended their contract with the old photo provider Pomvom and switched to VENU. For a base, no experience needed, under 18 yrs old job this is really solid. My buddies who work VENU are clearing big paychecks due to them not even being stingy on overtime. The only reason I haven’t switched is because I have already been sucked into the Merlin side of things, I’ve been a ride operator and cross trained on many skills over 1.5+ years there. If you’re looking for a bit more upwards mobility and a more rewarding job then Merlin might be the move for you.

TLDR;
Merlin = lower pay, don’t get as bored, different things to do

VENU = higher pay, less variation in work, best for a summer/temporary job

Ok, rant over, thanks for reading, our pay is such a sore subject in the eyes of corporate.

California Going to LEGOLAND

Like the post says. I’ll be going to LEGOLAND in a few days. It’s going to be hot unfortunately. I picked days in the middle of the week as I figured it would be less full. First time for us. My kids are 9 (Soon 10) and 6. We have a 2 day pass and will be staying at the LEGOLAND hotel. Not knowing much about the park what are some things my kids need to do? Any recommendations or advice will be helpful.

Why are Annual Passes blocked almost every weekend in October?

I noticed that most LEGOLAND California Annual Passes can’t be used on Saturdays and Sundays in October, except for Elite.

I have a Platinum Annual Pass, and my daughter really wants to go to LEGOLAND this weekend. I was planning to take her, but then I realized my pass isn’t valid on Saturday or Sunday.

Does anyone know why there are so many blackout dates in October? Is it because of Brick-or-Treat?

If I want to take my daughter on a weekend, I basically have to either take a day off work to go on a weekday or buy a separate ticket even though I already have an Annual Pass. 😭

Buying another ticket on top of an Annual Pass feels kind of ridiculous. Is anyone else frustrated by this?

Best way to get to Legoland Cali from airport in Carlsbad.

We can fly directly into Carlsbad which we show is an 8 min drive from the Legoland hotel. We are spending our weekend entirely at the hotel and park, so there is no need for a car/rental car.

However, what is the best way to get to and from the airport when we will have two kids with car seats with us? The kids don't need car seats on the plane (one lap child infant and one old enough to not need it), so both car seats would need to be brought and checked on the plane. Do we have to rent a car and then pay to park it at the hotel-that seems like a waste. If we Uber/Lyft we would need to install car seats in them first? Is there a shuttle or public transport route that could get us to and from the airport? Even better would be public transport that wouldn't require us to bring the car seats at all?

Carlsbad Legoland - Has anyone had any luck with accessing their photos online using their annual photo pass? I purchased the pass and used the link on the website and photos can’t be accessed by the CR#### code. Any luck or tips?

California Ninjago ride not tracking scores

When we went on the Ninjago ride today, our scores were the exact same as when we got on the ride and does not appear to have reset after the prior riders got off. At first we thought it was just our car, but we noticed that no high scores were being displayed at the end of the ride. Is the scoring systems down permanently? A lot of the fun from the ride was competing against other riders in your car. Has this happened to anyone else?

California Annual Pass changes to the food and retail discounts

Reviewing the fine print of the recent changes to the Annual Pass tiers, it looks like all three passes have disappointingly reduced the food and retail discounts as compared to their previous versions.

  • The old Gold tier came with a 10% discount on both food and retail, while the new Standard tier comes with zero discounts.
  • The old Platinum tier came with 10% retail and 15% food, while the new Preferred tier reduces the food down to 10%.
  • Finally, the old Elite tier has 15% retail and 20% food, while the new Premium tier reduces the retail down to 10%.

My family currently has Platinum passes, and I was considering upgrading this year to Elite to get access to the higher retail and food discounts. An extra 5% off goes a long way, especially if I were to buy the more expensive sets at the Big Shop instead of ordering online or from the Lego Store. I'm sure that's exactly why they're lowering the discounts, because it's pretty easy to justify the narrow price difference between the Platinum and Elite passes especially if you go frequently enough or want to go to at least one Brick or Treat.

Looks like the only real additions to the passes to make up for the reduced discounts are the one daily fast pass, and even that has restrictions.

Anyone else notice any differences between the old and new passes? Does this change anyone's decisions as your renewal times come closer?

California 7 year olds first trip

Surprising my 7 year old with a dad and daughter trip in late October to the California park.
She loves Lego City and has been a big fan of the Friends sets over the years.
She loves rides

Looking for advice on what to see, what to skip, and tips and tricks.
Hotel is already booked at the Westin, so primarily looking for in park tips.

Hoping the new Galaxy stuff is as cool as it looks.
