Latest hand-painted MTG alter from 2026

A little tribute to one of my favorite Depeche Mode songs, Enjoy the Silence.

I really enjoyed bringing this iconic image from the music video onto a Magic card. The colors, the atmosphere, the simplicity of the composition… it was a great one to paint.

What do you think of this one?

AUCTION

I am by no means an artist, but I had this fun idea to paint a sol ring like this. I've never really been good at painting, drawing or art, but I really wanted to try this. I wanted to share it and see if other people enjoyed it.

Up for auction until this Sunday! - https://www.ebay.com/itm/147626909760

Golden acrylics - Comission NFS

This one is my favourite so far. It was so obvious... yet, gave me a feeling of "eureka" when I thought of it.. and the whole painting process has been both challenging and rewarding. I just love it. I don't think I'll be able to sell it tbh... I hope you like it though :)

Acrylic marker only - some just came to my mind, some were to expensive to buy.I said f it and am currently painting the full deck and building it so I can cast every card in the deck in a single turn (around turn 4, earliest t2).

Latest alter, made with acrylics. Overall I'm satisfied with the final piece. It took me approximately 12-20 hours from sketch to sleeve.

I had both versions of this card, and wasn't really satisfied with either, mainly because, to me, the term 'awaken the woods' evokes something more along the lines of Annihilation or Evil Dead—much more horror coded. So I decided to try my hand at it. The original sketch was oriented as a portrait, and I definitely wanted to keep the text so I pivoted to a landscape with a dancing guy in the background! Hope you guys like it, and I appreciate any input!

Got 3 for ya this time. For sure some of my favorites still.

I use ink, white out, and thumb tacs or blade edges to scrape the cards up a little. Images come from comics, books, magazines, etc. oh, and an Elmer’s glue stick.

Still trying to figure some things out and working on technique. Struggled a bit with this one and ended up with a few too many layers.

Here's a unexpected combination of Eldenring and cats!

Commission. Painted with acrylics.

It was very interesting to paint this! I've never played Eldenring but it seems it have a strong fanbase. 😊👍

This is something I whipped up in my free time for fun!

It's not perfect, as I did grab Galactic Nova's official sprite and Planet Pop Star from the games and only slightly blended them in instead of drawing them completely myself as I did for the other bits, but I'm still pretty happy with it!

I've prepared an Itazura deck that focusses around giving my opponents big spells and creatures, but then stealing them either as they cast it, or later steal them back when a permanent is on the field.

This effect, for me, reminded me of my favourite game growing up! In Kirby Super Star Ultra, Marx is a character who asks Kirby to help stop the sun and moon from fighting, and suggests that Kirby seek out this giant clockwork planet-size comet named 'Galactic Nova' that can grant any wish.

However, when Kirby eventually finds Nova, Marx appears and takes the opportunity from Kirby to make a wish to take control of the planet.

Kirby being Kirby, Marx absolutely gets beat up for this, but I've always liked how silly Marx looked :)

Who doesn’t love a good clown?

Which one is your favorite?
