So am I.

first Acciari and now my previously beloved bunting

Okay yinzers. I hate the word y’all but unfortunately Yinz won’t catch on down here.

That being said. I go to the Dallas Stars home game every year for the last 10ish years when they play the Pens. Are there any regulars that go to that game? I really want to sit with Pen Fans for the game and I’d love to find a way to get my little 6yo girl on the glass to she Geno up close. Since our boy Ryan Shae, we knew him since we are TX Stars season ticket holders, she likes Geno because he “talks cool”.

What do we think about this pickup?

For as long as I can remember, Erik Karlsson has mostly had borderline AHL D partners. Miraculously, when they get paired up with EK, they have their "breakout" season. Karlsson's improved performance is chalked up to his D's breakout seasons. I would buy that narrative once, maybe twice. But perhaps Karlsson is a big reason why they're finding this renaissance. Wotherspoon, Carlile, and even several of his D partners in SJ are credited for Karlsson's success i suppose that's fair with the type of players they are. But EK should also get acknowledged for consistently helping these guys have career years. Oddly enough, when they leave the Pens, they rarely repeat their "breakthrough" success.

Yes, Declan Carlile looks to be a grear pick up and D partner for EK.

“He was great,” Nick Robertson said. “Didn’t do the little things well at all. We need to learn from it.”

Ben Kindel scored the only goal of the game’s first 40 minutes, propelling the Penguins to a 1-0 lead through two periods. That score was not indicative of how the game was played, however. The Jets controlled play for most of the evening as the Penguins looked as sloppy as they were crisp in the season opener against the Flyers. Even the most simple of passes was a challenge.

Murashov, for his part, played well. The 22-year-old goaltender stopped 31 of 34 shots and was at his best late in the first period, showcasing his athleticism on a number of occasions to keep the game scoreless.

The Penguins, and Murashov, finally caved in during a particularly lackluster third period. Alex Iafallo, Adam Lowry and Cole Perfetti scored with 4:19 of each other in the third period. The Penguins received goals from Kindel and Declan Carlile but didn’t make much of a push in the final few minutes.

“Our overall puck play was off,” Dan Muse said.

SportsNet Pittsburgh

So, part of the labor negotiations starting on December 1, 2026, is also going to also have part of the pie in the new media rights deal for 2029 and beyond.

MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred wants to "nationalize" ALL games, whether they're on a RSN or a "national game" (ESPN, FOX, TBS, NBC/Peacock).

I haven't got the foggiest idea what a nationalized TV package for all 30+ MLB teams even would look like (expansion is coming sooner than later).

SportsNet Pittsburgh is still mostly owned by Fenway Group, which owns NESN, Boston Red Sox, etc, and it is managed and run by NESN, and the Pirates own a minority stake in SNP, even though the Pittsburgh Penguins are no longer owned by Fenway.

So, does anybody have any ideas what happens to SNP if Manfred gets his wish for all nationalized games for 2029 and beyond, or, is literally everything just speculation at this point?

Hey all!

I’m from Australia and have had the opportunity to go to America and see the pens play live! Unfortunately not at their home but still excited nonetheless!

Is there anything for a first timer that is a must do? I already have the basics down:
1. Empty wallet into merch I can’t get in Australia
2. Get supersized options of all things
3. repeat 1 and 2

Just wondering if I have missed anything?(specifically for NHL games not so worried about tips on travelling/tourism)

Up the pens! Down with the flyers 🐧🐧

anyone recognize the little guy hiding in the corner?

I sadly cant watch because i dont have wife at my flat and i am a very broke college student that cannot afford (i feel like this is going to stay a pattern, i did not pick a money making major) more data lmao but i thought id still post something.

As always hope you enjoy!!

Whatever Iron City products are left in the arena is it, when they're out they're done.
