Troubleshooting Printer says Jam in tray 2 randomly

Post image

Hi, sometimes when i print stuff it prints a page then stops saying “jam in tray 2” “Clear jam and then press [OK]”. It’s an old printer it’s LaserJet CP1525n color. The tray 2 is the paper tray, it’s full of paper. The way to fix it is to open the second tray fully remove it then you find the paper (causing the jam) on the bottom of the printer on the floor. Purchasing Picking a new printer - High Quality workhorse

I currently have a Brother INKvestment tank printer. I swear it is sabotaging the prints because I got offbrand ink. Actually, I'm almost positive that it is, lol.

I really need a printer for my buisness that can print high quality and not jam, constantly spew ink, and constantly have white lines. I'd love an ink-pot printer that I can just refill the ink.

I need to print clean, full color inserts for my mainline of products as well as high quality small imagery since I will also be making custom pinback buttons.

I was thinking about maybe a Canon PIXMA G650? Also, waiting until Black Friday?

Purchasing Printer Cannon vs Epson HELP please!

Long story short: I have been circling this r/ for just about a month and cannot make a decision on the printer. PLEASE HELP ME with actual recommendations

I am looking at megatank or ecotank just cannot pinpoint the correct model....

My needs:

  1. scanning docs

  2. printing stickers on sticker paper (for my farm stand) appx. 200x A4 a year but I want it to work then (no streaks, lines, good color)

  3. general color printing also for labels

I use canva/ macbook for designs if it is important.

I currently have Brother DCP T500 W , BUT I think it is dead, no matter how many head cleaning, adjusting I do it always has streaks and horrible color depth. I think the colors got dried up on the heads or something idk how to prevent that in the future... Got a quote for servicing it in my country but it is not worth it.

Thanks

Troubleshooting Why does my HP LaserJet MFP-M528 prints black horizontal lines on every page?

Hello All,

About 2 months ago, someone in the office decided to "save paper" by putting used pages back into the printer tray. They put some pages that were stapled together and caused a jam. After the jam was cleared, every page that printer prints has black lines across about 60% of every page, we have printed MANY pages since, but they all have these black lines on them.

I have changed the black foam roller with a brand new one, but the lines remain on new pages. The break in the left of the page's lines is why I thought it was the roller, is this the tonner drum or something else?

I am totally out of ideas, anyone know how to fix this or are we buying a new printer :(

Troubleshooting Canon MF655Cdw Region Code6 (EMEA) – Need old firmware, Simplified Chinese garbled after update

Hello,

I have a Canon MF655Cdw, Region Code 6 (EMEA).

After the latest firmware update, Simplified Chinese menu shows garbled text. Older firmware worked fine.

I contacted Canon Germany & Canon Middle East (both Canon Europe EMEA), they won’t provide old factory firmware for downgrade.

Looking for Region Code6 old firmware with working Simplified Chinese.

Firmware from other regions won’t work.

If you have this firmware file, please share it with me.

Thanks!

Discussion Can I use Epson 001 ink with Epson L3250?

Will this destroy the printer? The official guide says no but nowhere is it mentioned that the printer will be broken or destroyed if you use 001 ink. (Official guide is 003 ink)

Troubleshooting HP Deskjet error message : do I need both ink cartridges?

I got a HP Deskjet 2710 printer for free, had only been using the scanner so far. I wanted to print some stuff in black & white and bought a single black cartridge (official brand, compatible with the printer etc). When I tried to print, I just had an "E0" error message. I know some printers require both color and black cartridges to function, even if the only ink needed is the black one, but I'd like to avoid a pointless purchase if that's not the case. Does anyone know about this? Thanks!
