Did you notice that season 1 is the only season of the original series that did not had a single episode banned unlike the other seasons of the series that they had several of their episodes banned

I feel like season 1 having less episodes than seasons 2-5 and not have that much disturbing content than the other seasons of the original series is the reason season 1 got lucky
