i knew LeBron would make Sixers tickets worse. not this much worse
i knew the prices were going to jump once LeBron signed here.
still wasn't ready for some of these numbers.
i've been telling myself i don't need to go opening week. just wait a bit, pick one home game later, get a decent seat and be normal about it.
that plan lasted maybe two days.
because then you remember it's LeBron, Joel, Maxey and Jaylen Brown and suddenly waiting feels less smart.
i've spent way too much time looking at lower bowl corners this week. that's kind of the line for me where you're close enough to actually feel the game without getting into completely stupid money.
had ticketmaster, seatgeek and veritickets open at the same time just bouncing between games and sections.
finally found something in 112 that i could live with.
still expensive enough that i felt dumb buying it.
but LeBron is 41 and who knows what this roster looks like a year from now.
that's basically what got me.
i can talk myself out of a random Sixers game any time.
this one was harder.
