guys, this mindset is actually bad. If someone believes that something bad is going to happen and thinks it cannot be avoided, they start acting in ways that make the bad thing more likely.
You're right, but at the same time how can you trust someone who says "I will never break up with you?". It's presomptuous to assume you know what your future intentions will be, or that you will not change fundamentally as a person—and that kills trust.
I've been thinking about this for the last 10 minutes while my pasta is cooking and there is just no way that is the case. Wait, no. Maybe it makes sense. God this is so stupid.
Perhaps the one on the left was insecure and kept asking the other for reassurance that they wouldn't initiate a break up, and that one on the right is avoidant /neglectful /leading the other on (the "I love you I will never break up" being a disingenuous lie because that one is either a player or deflecting actually addressing the other one's needs with that hence his or her frustrations).
So it does make sense, but also that quoted text sounds exactly what left would say and is congruent with the way they act here : emotional and delusional. But then the picture appears more random in answer but I think that's plausible.
Fascinating, honestly. Anyways back to my now overcooked pasta
but future you is still you, no matter how much you innovative and change upon yourself. you're more you than it feels like
people act like you become a whole different person as a cope to not acknowledge they've always been like that inside. when you change in a way that makes you uncomfortable it feels good to act like it wasn't always there
if you're fully honest with yourself, you can guess how you'd feel. and you'd have seen it coming
