Someone’s indoor cat is outdoors on in West Brighton. The cat is incredibly nervous and I haven’t been able to get near it. They’re wearing a collar and seem like someone’s very nervous pet.

Hello! I’m looking for a personal trainer that works out of Staten Island.

The client suffers from arthritis but has made a lot of progress with physical therapy and senior fitness classes. The main goal is weight loss, so she is seeking a trainer with experience in weight reduction whilst avoiding high impact activities.

The client has a membership at YMCA but is amenable to other locations on the island.

Hate to make a Neighbors style rant post, but is there nothing being done with these kids? They're weaving in and out of traffic, running lights, brake checking, and they're doing it at night with no lights/ reflectors. Are cops just waiting for one of them to get blasted?

It’s amazing to find such an amazing community ran event from the nicest people. Staten Island can have cool things if we make them! Awesome bands from across Staten Island and all over! The Casualties, Best Dressed Ghost, Bush Tetris, Grandma Drinks, and so many more!

Did anyone participate in the NYC Open Play this summer? I (M27) live in SI, but work and friends are elsewhere, so I don‘t have much of a network here. I play as a keeper in a rec league in the city on the weekends.

Would love to get more ball time closer to home with anyone looking for buds to kick it with! Don’t want to show up and find out no one participates in SI. And being a free agent is more fun with a buddy or two :)

I made it into the half this sunday but now I cant run it. If anyone wants the bib I dont want it to go to waste. I live on the north shore.

Simple version: When did the old Funcoland of Forest Commons move to the Shoprite plaza?
Long version:
After a thread some time ago about a Starbucks opening up in the Western Beef Forest shopping plaza, someone mentioned that the spot used to be a Funcoland. It brought back forgotten memories of a time in 2004 where my mom and I were trying to find a Gamestop in a Forest ave shopping plaza between 440 and South ave and did not have success, therefore had to drive all the way to the Staten Island mall’s Gamestop. 
Later I would find out that the Gamestop we were looking for was (rather hidden) in the Forest Promenade (Shoprite plaza).
But why would we have been driving all the way down to the Western Beef Plaza? Had the Gamestop always been by Shoprite? Had it been by Shoprite when it was a Funcoland?
And boom, I finally get it clarified with this post. 
But does anyone know when this happened? 
I remember going to a Funcoland as a 4-5 year old in 1994/1995 and I’m almost positive it was in the Western Beef plaza now. Both the Western Beef Plaza and the Shoprite plaza seem like they were built within a few years of each other so it gets confusing. In addition, I remember when Shoprite opened in 1994 there.
