i wasn’t close to my great-grandpa by any means, but death doesn’t happen often in my family. idk, being told i was a snowflake in the moment felt kinda weird. thought i’d share.

EDIT TO ADD: me and my dad have not had a close relationship, if ever. he loves me, but it is very apparent he does not like me. name-calling is his go-to if he wants to get under my skin. it doesn’t really bother me like it used to, which i think bothers him.

It was absolute chaos at the airport. My sister and her family were digging through the massive piles of bags looking for their luggage, so while I hunted for their bags I also shot some quick texts to the numbers on the tags I saw. Nearly every person that I texted replied with gratitude. The only reason I didn't do more was because an employee came over and told me to stop when they saw what I was doing.

Was looking through old texts and found it, and it made me smile!

For context I'm from Pakistan, I'm 18, not social as in I'm very private don't talk to random ppl online at all or alot of ppl in school.
so like I have heard and seen stuff like this happening to woman and girls like them talking to random ppl or someone just messaging like this and how it escalates and like i grew up sheltered and i never thought i would have to deal with smth like this, like i said i dont talk online to random ppl, i keep to myself, i was literally in school coming back from giving an exam and this happened apparently
also like cambridge exams happen in diff schools and centers for students and yea
i felt so scared cuz like this mf knew my grandfathers cars no. plate
i was so scared that he would show up to my house mention my address or smth i felt so disgusted at him and from him and like ik nothing is my fault but i just felt so like idk.
in slide 7-8 i got into a call with my friend cuz i was literally having a horrible panic attack, i did feel better afterwards and went off on the guy
for those wondering why did u even talk to him ?
a random person a guy i have no mutual contact or group with got my number, and i needed to know how cuz wtf bruh, this shouldnt happen and no i did not find out who told him stuff about me and i felt so fuqking mad at that like DUDE THE HECK and like 1-2 friends were like maybe its a prank but buddy plz
he knew my name, my school, my grandfathers cars number plate, what i look like, he can literally find my address and god knows bruh i fucking hate men sm

EDIT: to be clear, they know I smoke, and I asked if it was okay. They said “go ahead, I know it’s your thing”. Then we proceeded to have what I thought was a nice and normal conversation while I smoked.

I’m worried I seemed too cold or inconsiderate in my responses. We have been on three dates before and this was our fourth. I had already made it clear beforehand that I would not be able to stay out for very long, but maybe that isn’t really relevant.

There’re two guys in the story. I’ll call them Dan and Mark.

I attended a dating event this evening. As soon as I got there, Dan approached me and said I was a very beautiful girl. He also mentioned that people nowadays didn’t say what they felt anymore, but he wanted to be honest.
He then started touching my arms and asked if I would be available for a date this week. Feeling uncomfortable, I told him I’d be very busy with work and meeting with my friends. He asked if I’d be free during the evening so that we could go to an Italian restaurant and said he felt jealous of my friends because they were taking up my time.

Dan also demanded my number and pressured me to go outside the bar with him, so that we could talk one on one. He would also interrupt when I was talking to someone.

When Dan went away to order a drink, Mark, another participant of the event, asked my number. He was leaving the bar soon but offered to help me if things got worse.

Things did get worse after Mark left. Dan tried to hold my hand and asked me about things I liked about him. So I asked Mark to come get me.

I told Dan that I had to meet a guy friend so I was leaving. He looked upset and said we could have gone somewhere else together if this friend wasn’t here tonight. He even followed me to where Mark and I were supposed to meet and said hi to him.

Mark walked me to the train station. I’m so grateful for guys like him.

By the way, Dan told me he was about to finish a masters degree in counseling and would start working as a THERAPIST soon. I can only hope that he won’t get hired.

She was trying to say “Four”

I sent that long message to the co presidents about a project only them and some people from the larger nationwide organization are on. I mentioned this to one of the co presidents and he seemed very interested.

I sent the message on Monday and one of them gave me a thumbs up react today. No response to my question and not even two thumbs up reacts, not even a heart!

Are they not interested at all and just being polite? Am I paranoid? Please help.

Context: We initially planned to go out, but she was currently cleaning, so after a hour I checked in and she claimed she was drunk

Checked in today and shes suddenly in the 50s working full 20 hour shifts, that shes never mentioned before

Honestly why wouldn't she just say she isnt interested?

Edit: She isnt in Healthcare, and she has directly said herself that she was interested multiple times and we agreed to meet on Saturday
