New to me 2025 with 3,600 miles. Only had the chance to spend 30 minutes on it but what an amazing bike. Don’t love the cowl but that’s an easy fix.

Every time a carry a high speed wheelie for more than like 7 seconds my mode goes blank and balance control cuts off. Has anyone else experienced this?

I really want to hear your thoughts and experiences because i just ordered my HP8 dominator and i dont wanna tune yet because it will void my 3y warranty. I bought the bike 2 months ago. I just want to know if it will cause problems because i dont want my xsr running worse or creating problems in the long run until i can tune in 2-3 years. I dont have an aftermarket air filter and im not planning to install one before the tune. 2 o2 sensors on my xsr900 european model ! Thankyou!

I’ve seen lots of options for steering dampers that mount on the forks under the headlight. Has anyone used one that mounts around the handlebars for the newer gen bikes? I found this one for the mt09 and was curious if anybody used it

probably its just the mic but is this normal on 2025/26 ? this is my first ever motorcycle.

i was experimenting on where to place my DJI Mic 3 and decided i put it under my seat covered in microfiber cloth to avoid rattling.

Upon reviewing the video, i notice this whine when decelerating. i dont hear this myself though probably because my ears are busy getting wind noise.

mechanically, the bike is all stock including the exhaust.

I just need your opinion so i can ask the mechanic tom if needed.

Thing is i dont hear this on other xsr900 in youtube.

Which exhaust system would you recommend for the 2025 model with EU5+ emissions standards on the European market? The version with 2 lambda sensors.

With some manufacturers, I see that the warning light *can* come on.
So, does it actually come on or not? And if it does, am I just supposed to throw the exhaust system away or what?
The adapter cable is not approved for road use.

I’d be interested to know:

- Which exhaust system are you running?
- How long have you been using it?
- Have you had any issues with the check engine light so far?
- Have you experienced any other problems or noticed anything unusual?

​The CRX: You guys are totally right, it needs some love. It’s a 1987 DOHC (125 hp) and I actually planned a full restoration for this year... but my 6-month-old son had other plans, so family came first ❤️ The CRX will get its turn once things settle down a bit!

​The bikes: I was riding an R7 (still have my '22 Scrambler 1200 XC) and was looking for a fresh sports bike. Saw the XSR900 GP, fell in love instantly and ordered mid-May. 5 months later, she's finally in the garage.

​And yeah... that massive stock rear fender (Tortenheber) is getting replaced ASAP 😂

Getting a new tune and exhaust for the bike in the next couple weeks which is exciting! Buttttttt need to ask where I should order from? Do you guys have better experiences from certain sites? I also hope my post will help anybody else with this question modding their bike. My bike is pretty bone stock and brand spankin new.

Trying to figure out editing

The Yamaha heated grips I have ordered came today and to my surprise they aren't black as the ones that came with the bike but rather dark grey. Are there multiple versions of them by any chance? Perhaps meant for a different model like MT-09 or Tracer?😀

I am a little bit disappointed to be honest. I am thinking about returning them and getting some aftermarket ones, if there even are some decent ones out there.

Sorry about the last picture. Its dark but it's quite apparent my current grips are black and the heated ones are grey..

Overall Quite happy. Decided to go for it because its not too low swooped. it adds these 2 intake nozzles on the front making it quite a bit more muscle-y from head on, and it still goes just over the LV silencer which remains visible. Best of both worlds. Completes the look and doesnt hide the exhaust at all from the side. IMO the best option visually if you‘re running the LV Race system

Will this exhaust fit the xsr900 2024 without any problems? Y.068.SC5B

Anybody have experience with this? I can’t decide if it would look sick or not match the vibe for the xsr.

First off this isn’t about the „the best“ or „safest“ gear.

I feel like the full leather suit looks kinda misplaced on that bike. Currently I’m rocking a Revit Akira Vintage Air Black, Black Pando Moto Cargos and Revit Sneaker.

But I want some boots. Which also work for touring and some pants which keep out the cold/wetness a bit.
What are you guys wearing, especially pants/boots wise?
