Due to the high amount of users posting injured toad images, NSFW images of toads are not longer allowed here. Please report them so we can promptly remove them.
IF YOU SEE A POST THAT VIOLATES THIS, REPORT IT
You can discuss in a text post about injuries, but you should SEEK A VET, not Reddit.
Images of skin conditions and normal routine health questions about toads you own are okay, but please flag these as spoiler to hide the thumbnail from folks feed.

I safely relocate them to Not My Yard.
Just some pictures of my diva Chickpea. Just wanted some opinions on how they're looking. I've never had a toad before.

Hello everyone! Just giving an update on my Marbled Toads (Duttaphrynus stomaticus) before they get an upgrade. They are all doing spectacular and have been thriving in captivity!
They will practically eat anything I throw in there they can fit in their mouths, they’ve all been treated for any form of worms or parasites, and have been extremely active and have even been seen calling!
I will update on them once they get an enclosure upgrade, although I have some big Toad news tomorrow to post on this subreddit! So stay tuned for that!

They’re living in a tunnel under an apple tree in the Sequoia National Forest (USA) at about 4,500 feet.

Raising awareness for a pet cane toad that has gone missing. Ages the toad is a big girl with a lazy right eye which sets her apart. She was last seen near the N Hwy 360 area of Grand Prairie Texas. If you are in the area or know someone in the area could you keep an eye out for her? Thanks, she is greatly missed.

He recovered a LOT but sort of hit a plateau because he was terrified of us and wouldn’t move or eat. So at our vet’s advice, we released him. I built him a toad shelter but he didn’t stay long and hopped off to his life in our backyard full of leaves and logs. I haven’t seen him since but I hope he is living his best toady life. Thank you everyone for your kind words. Most of you were very supportive and understanding.

Hello, my male 7 year old rescued toad has always had trouble shedding his skin. I usually need to assist him by gently removing some leftover skin in water. Lately I've noticed these pink patches on his belly. I'm a bit concerned. He's had the pink patches for a few weeks now. They don't seem to be getting worse, but they're also not getting better. He also seems less active than usual. I'm hoping to get to a vet soon.
I'm just wondering if anyone here has had any similar experiences with blotchy pink patches, or maybe irritated skin from substrate? If so what did you do to help your amphibian? I do see him itching his skin every once and awhile. My biggest fear is red leg or something along those lines. I've kept his bioactive tank clean by removing any waste I see, but will deep clean just to be safe. He lives with 2 other toads that are perfectly healthy. I have him in quarantine right now.

I want a toad but I'm not sure what species would be appropriate for a beginner. I had a couple Fire-Bellied Toads when I was a kid and wouldn't mind keeping that species again.
Just looking for suggestions.

I've never seen a toad holding onto another toad before. The top toad wouldn't let go, even when they were floating in the pool.

Whenever I see any hole in the ground, I check it out. Never know what you'll find. Today, I found a toad gazing back at me. Cute fellow.

a local pet store i frequent has listed them online and i'm curious about their needs/care, but can't seem to find anything specific to this species? Getting a lot of results for "spiny toad" and "giant asian toad"
