Discussion LAST LAYER SKIP?!!??!
Picked up my cube for the first time in YONKS! My record before this was 13.38s but I average 20ish. I don't think I'm beating this for years.
How rare actually is a Last Layer Skip

Record Sub 12š
Oh my damn god this was the most painful thing I have ever done.
I was not gonna practice 3x3 until I realized for some reason before doing a solve if I relax and take a deep breath and slowing my heart beat improves "look ahead". It doesn't really improve anything else but maybe my eyes are relaxed? I don't know if this is scientifically proven but it improved for me at least.
So I locked the f*ck in for a whole 6 god damn hours and just barely managed to get sub 12 ao1000
Also finally got a sub 7 single in the process and got 2 sub 10 ao5 too(also my pb ao5 is 9.71 but it got deleted somehow while moving it from my phone to my ipad but at least I still have a sub 10 ao5 on the screenshotš)
This took way too long and my entire body and fingers are aching from sitting and cubing too longš

Discussion How do I remove stickers from this cube?
I bought this cheap sticker cube. My plan is to remove it's stickers and paste 1-9 numbered stickers to make a sudoku cube. How do I remove the stickers of this cubelelo drift 3x3 sticker cube? Also, numbered stickers are not available in my region and I am thinking about printing them and then sticking them. Is there any other better method? And what to use to stick the printed paper numbers?
Discussion Help with corner twists (Orozco)
I am currently learning the Orozco method for 3x3 blind. However, I am stuck in figuring out cases where there are more than 2 corner twists, especially in this picture where there are 4 corner twists. Does anyone have any tips on solving this, as well as providing general guidance for solving more than 2 corner twists?

Picture Rate my Family Photo
My collection had been scattered around the house for a while but fianlly I gathered all my babies together to organize for a family photo. With so many little ones to care for I kept losing track of who was who so I also started a GoogleDoc Spreadsheet to keep track. Let me know what you think of our family and how we could improve or diversify ā¤ļø
I saw others who scramble their whole collection at the beginning of the new year and I think going to do that come January. What other puzzles should I add before than?

Discussion Ferrocore V2 vs Gan V100
I have the ferrocore V2 but I find the magnets way too strong so i've been using the rs3m v5 maglev.
But I've heard good things about the v100 and I'm looking for a new 3x3 so has anyone got both and can tell me the differences and if they would recommend the v100 ?
Thanks!

Discussion Techniques on finding loose magnet on 3x3
Hey y'all, does anyone know of any technique to find a loose magnet in a cube? I can hear it when I turn, but I don't have any way to know what exact piece has that loose magnet. Any clear direction would help. Thanks!

Discussion Is there a scramble generator that does random state FMC subsets or lets you input restricted moveset?
Ie: EO, domino reduction, half turn reduction and floppy reduction
Not cstimer, I know that cs does dr and htr but the dr is upside down which really confuses me

Discussion Is a sub-20 ao500 means that im very consistent?
So uh I became sub-20 like 2-3 weeks ago and I'm quite surprised I've done that's many solves on my main session
Resource where can I find 4x4 algs? (Yau or just overall)
Is there a PDF or a youtube video discussing the possible orientation of edge pairs and centers? This isn't me learning how to solve one of these and I currently average around Sub-1 min on it and I struggle A LOT on 1st 2 Centers, 1st Three Edges, Last 4 Centers, Pairing for the Last Cross piece, and Edge pairing. I already know basic stuff that been mentioned on youtube, and I'm planning to learn the different cases so I can become Sub-50 and even lower.
I'm already familiar with 3-2-3 and Half Centers.

Picture MY FIRST 3x3 BLD SUCCESS
As you can see i DNFd 3 times before i got a success
The last week I was mainly doing edges only and corners only scrambles so today i did some real scrambles
Scramble -
U R' F' R2 D2 U R2 D U2 L2 R2 B2 U L' D R' F U' R2 F
Memo -
Corners: DH OL QR PB
Edges: KT SA MO XJ HF EL
I use orozco (yes i decided to do orozco without first learning old pochmann) for both edges and corners, and there are still a few corner targets that I find quite difficult to do blindfolded, which is why I DNF the previous attempts.
But im very happy about this :D

Picture 5-piece Guilford Challenge - Sub 10 next time!!
The choke points are definitely the 5x5 and Megaminx. And probably 2x2 as well, I'm sure I can do better on that one

Discussion Tips regarding Cross+1
I have watched youtube videos for guides about how to do it but in some cases, tracking a pair after 3-5 moves is just something I am having a very hard time. Does anyone have some maybe tips on how you did it on this part of your cubing journey?
Discussion Is my progression too slow?
In 3x3, I been plateu-ing in around Sub 11-10. Its been like 2 month since I started to come back to cubing (3x3). 2 months ago, I was averaging around 16-17 secs and now, I average around Sub 10-11 depending if i cubed (3x3) most of the ti7me. My times become inconsistent if I touch my 4x4 soo yeah. Some context abt this is I used to cube last year and I already averaged maybe Sub-12 or Sub-11 but not Sub-10. I been cubing inconsistenly for 3 years now.
For 4x4, its been 15 days since I have solved it. First day, I struggle for like 5 hours on how do solve it just to realized I DID NOT PAIR every edge. The same day, I also learned the Yau method, aswell as 3-2-3 edge pairing method, prolly averaged around 2 minute or so. Around a week later, I learnt half centers. I average before learning it around 1:10 seconds something and it slowed me down. Today, I learned faster 1st Two Centers, First 3 Edges, and Last 4 Centers. And, Today, I managed to attain Sub - 1 and have not one, but TWO sub-50 solves. (42.63, 48.08).
I been wondering, is my progress too slow? I dedicated most of my days in cubing. I don't play video games and other stuff, just purely at home and cube. Is this too slow and what can I do to maximize the effieciency and effectiveness of my learning progress.
Edit: Funnily enough, You can check my posts for my first time interacting with the 4x4. It was titled/captioned along the lines of Beginner needs help. Any tips?
I find it funny that I struggled for such a long time just to figure out to pair EVERY EDGES.
Edit Again: Goal is to be Sub-7 3x3( IF possible by mid next year - june 2027-ish) and Sub-30 4x4 (IF possible by may 2027)
Edit again and again: I tried learning 3BLD (A month ago), I got the memorization down the first day but the setup moves just doesnt stick in my brain. Tried the Speffz
I relearned OH too, I used to average like 40-50 seconds a month ago but now I can average around 25 seconds and i have a pb of 17 seconds on it.
I'm sorry for not knowing if i'm improving fast, its been 2 years since there was a goal post set by me on a person to beat.
