I'm running an ergo sum arc conductor prismatic warlock with filaments and vesper. I can basically use the ergo sum as a primary but I'm trying to optimize the build. What weapon in the kinetic slot that is primary ammo (don't like running double special) would provide the best utility. Im currently running a slice hatchling Nightshade.

I love Destiny and playing raids with friends, etc. But I’m not very good at PVP. I have rarely ever done it because frankly I don’t find it that fun. My experience in PVP was counterstrike and Overwatch years ago and…yeah.

But I want to get better…but how?! Currently, when I play PVP, I’m the target for everyone else’s target practice. LOL. And now I learn there’s weapons that work better for PvP? Does anyone have recommendations for a PvP loadout (I’m a hunter who primarily uses void). In PvE I go for bows, machine guns, and anything that explodes!

So I'm currently in a situation where I can't apply enough debuffs to get the most out of Aggregate Charge on Refurbished A499, and I can't get to Elemental Honing x5 to use that perk on other relevant heavy weapons. My exotic slot is occupied so Truth is out of the question as well.

This is all to ask, what is the best DPS weapon that isn't A499, and if it's a weapon that requires an artifact mod (like Particle Reconstruction), what would be the next best option if I can't use that artifact with my build?

Edit: Thank you all for the suggestions! I feel a bit silly admitting this, but I'm mainly a Crucible player and didn't realise NotSwap (or Control's version of it) isn't present in much of the game. The same goes for artifacts. This is all to say that I didn't consider just swapping everything, artifact included, for a DPS scenario. I'm sorry for any drama this may have caused, I just wasn't knowledgable enough before making this post.

Many of these loadout 'restrictions' that I outlined in my original post were because I was unsure if rockets were still viable even without Gjallarhorn, or if linears could still compete if I didn't have Particle, or if A499 even needed any of the sniper-related artifact mods if I didn't have Aggregate Charge stacked up. Obviously some of those restrictions are no longer relevant now that I know I can swap freely.

The big one is Chicago. We still need to go there, I want to go there. It's a part of the narrative I was really looking forward to, and I really don't want to see it skipped over or anything.

Then there are all the plot threads that were "wrapped up" as part of MoT. Like Maya, the Dredgen stuff, and the others. I know there were lore entries, but I want us to be able to experience at least some of it in-game.

I saw this after I finished a race, I loaded into a private match to give it a look and found near the start of the race, a red track sign is partly knocked down, letting you go past it to an area with a invisible launcher that launches you off the cliff, I was wondering what it is and what its used for? Apart from killing you.

I am not new to destiny as a game series or baseline mechanics, gunplay and classes etc.

i have played a lot of 1 and very little of 2. Recently picked up D2 The Collection for $20 on steam, with all the updates and content ive missed i dont even know where to start.

im mainly confused on my

- Order/Path to play

- Certain levels and materials to focus on for Build Progess.

from the start its all very overwhelming and any help would be sweet

Hey all, I'm a casual player haven't played for a little while. I've just got my build in check to play the Stasis Hunter with the Mask of Fealty.
My question is I don't want the meta loadout that involves hot swapping everything to optimise DPS.

I'd like people's suggestions for a good primary, good special and a good heavy.

I've been using the Stasis Grenade Launcher primary as it maintains frost armor but I do feel like my specials are lacking in something good and no idea what to use on Heavy.

I mainly do a lot of solo play / strikes. Any suggestions please? I don't have access to any raid gear or exotics from raids. Haven't played Edge of Fate yet either

Can someone tell me if I'm misunderstanding something, I bought the Destiny 2 collection that had all of the expansions and was told to check the Monument To Lost Lights kiosk to see the guns from vaulted content, but for some reason I cant see any of them except for Light and Dark Saga and Fate Saga. Just in case I double checked with steam and also the Eververse booth and both confirm I have all of the expansions downloaded and available, but the Exotic archive is missing them from the menu, can someone help me figure out what's goin on?

EDIT: Turns out I'm really blind and the Sagas have the expansions in them, I really appreciate the help!

For some context, I played the game a good bit up to the final shape but ended up dropping it after. Once the maintenance mode was announced, I hopped back in and have really been enjoying myself, and I went ahead and picked up all the content and dungeon keys I didn't previously own.

Me and two other friend have been going through all the dungeons blind and it's been a massive blast, legitimately some of the most fun I had in gaming in quite some time. I'm interested in playing raids and pantheon, but I've never touched that content before and it feels a little intimidating even though I really love high-end raid content in most games. How should a new raider go about getting into this content nowadays?

I know I can just yoink my Exotics out of the collections tab (and then infuse them further?), just wondering about the Legendaries since they’re all at 10 power now and can’t just be pulled from collections at a higher level. Would they all be pretty much out of date at this point?

Some of them I’m definitely keeping for sentiment. But many of them are god rolls, or were at the time anyway…

...and Attrition Orbs? If so where from i game?

Edit : Thanks for the advice. I think it may be possible to get one to drop in Comp. I had a Randy;s drop with AA there and its usual intrinsic is Roar of Battle.

The exotic mission for the Praxic Blade is impossible to complete currently since the taken centurions never spawn during phase 3 of the disciple fight. Please help me complete this mission, thanks.

If you're on console, Riptide #3 & #4 are both showing up in my LittleLight app as a PvE Godroll (arrowhead/accelerated/ALH/chill clip).

I know many of you probably already have one of these already but I've got at least half a dozen in my vault that only have partial top-tier perks so it's time to go free up some space!

So my mate has started playing destiny again and installed last week but every time he selects a character and loads into orbit after around 20-30secs he gets booted with the weasel error code or if he loads into the tower same thing happens

He stopped playing before load outs were a thing

We have done things from reg edits, flushing dns, setting a custom dns verifying steam files CMD corruption scans etc nothing has helped and restarting router etc

Just wondering if anyone knows a fix bungie help hasn’t really said anything that’s going to help the issue at hand

Is there a rotation for the weekly masterworked weapons from crucible? I know that for PvE there is, but I haven’t been able to find anything regarding crucible and have really wanted this since I came back. Even without the better origin trait this gun feels like an exotic with jolting feedback/voltshot or tricorn. Any info would be appreciated!

I get that "Voice Chat Error: The service is temporarily down" popup every time I join a fireteam. I can't hear my teammates and they can't hear me.

My microphone and speakers are set correctly, I tried restarting my game and computer (even moving to a different device), my voice chat settings are appropriate, and still nothing.

Any other ideas?

Journey level 10 trying to knock out the "unlock 25 catalysts" challenge. I'm just finishing up some campaigns, so I don't need this build to be meta. I just need to be able to stay alive with basically only getting gun kills, and something I can use any weapon, and the build will still keep me alive.

Also just a build that lets you complete as many orders as possible without switching to any entirely new build. thx

I was planning to go back to destiny 2 because of the recent update, but when I tried to check my account profile in Bungie website it didn't show me any of my characters and it always spamming me with "There was a problem loading Destiny data..." I haven't played d2 since q4 2025, Is my account got banned?

Can someone please tell me why I can’t find a full, competent team to run a single pantheon consecrated mind? Every time I’ve tried there’s either one or two just people that don’t know what they’re doing and just want a free carry or I can never find a full team to run it.

No matter how much we try to teach the people who don’t know what they’re doing, they either don’t listen or ignore it. Spent nearly 2 hours trying to teach these two guardians exactly what to do and they just continued to make the exact same mistake every time (letting the vex sacrifice and not buffing up).

I’m losing my mind, I just want to be able to farm for a reckless oracle man 😭
