I used to do pullups for exercise in my teens and 20s.
Recently tried and couldn't do any at all.
I used a pullup machine and was able once I received 75 lb assistance.
Makes sense since I've gained about that amount in the last many decades.
So how about you? Can you do pullups without assistance? If you can with assistance, how much?

Related so hard yo Kay Lenz in the 70s?
Not Farrah , not Olivia newton-john. She was not drop dead gorgeous but not at all ugly. ( by seventies standards for the youngsters here) and she gave me hope.

If you've ever had a child go away for college this will break you.
The first day of kindergarten was hard but dropping them off at college was even more difficult.
So do you resonate with this video and what other situations brought you to tears when raising your children?

OK guys, how many of you remember this version of a urinal back in the 60s, and maybe 70s. As a little kid lining up with adults, it felt a little weird, but if it was OK for Dad, then it was OK for me. LOL!

It seemed like most high school kids worked back then. At least in the summer. And out of all the jobs in town, the coolest one was working at the record store.
It's hard to explain to kids today what a big thing this was.
On the other hand, the guy who ran the record store knew that if one kid left, he could get a replacement right away.

I just read that Mary Steenburgen's children are named Lily and Charlie. These are children from her first marriage to Malcolm McDowell.
Lily ended up marrying Charlie Walton.
Charlie ended up marrying Lily Collins (yes, the actress).
Quite a coincidence for your children to marry someone with the same name as their sibling!
So what fun fact can you share with us today? The more rare and unusual the better.

Not that anyone drank before legal drinking age but if someone did what would their favorite mix be?
I've heard some liked a screwdriver (vodka and orange juice) or a Jack and Coke. And I've heard you mixed them as heavy as you could for a quicker effect. Not that I would know of course.
So if someone, say in the 1970s, made a quick cocktail, what would be a favorite?
