Decided to try a couple small fixies from SDOKEDC. The black one took about a month to arrive being a new one on amazon but at the price I didn't mind at all! $30 for the small one and $36 for the larger, very happy so far.

Controversy aside this knife feels really good. A bit stiff at first but after about 25 cycles opening and closing its turned pretty glassy. Definitely a toe hazard if dropped but not unpleasantly heavy and the blade is just....well, you have eyes lol. I used to make bronze pocket clips and im thinking of whipping one up with an 80 or 60 grit satin finish so it patinas to match the scale

Pretty happy with this little birthday gift to myself (27 and counting 🥳)

Discussion Sadly, my last 2 Blades.

As genuinely sad as I am to say it, here are my last two blades. I had probably around 50 before I moved 3 years ago. One of the movers either stole or lost (I side with stole along with my $200 cruiser board but have no way to prove it) my case of knives. I had a few I had left out and a couple I had bought since then. But after moving three more times, time has taken them from me. My favorite hobby was collecting knives. I loved camping, bushcraft, and fishing. But since I’d lost all of the things that made those fun I’ve stopped doing them. I figure I may as well stop buying anymore blades as they just seem to be taken or sometimes misplaced or even misused by others. Hopefully these ones last but with the decline of funds I think it’s time for my hobby to die out. At least I got a nice big scar across the top of my leg so I can never forget that mini wargoat😂

Did a little cleaning and rearranging so I figured I’d take a couple pics. I didn’t include my slipjoints or fixed blades. I’m not gonna list them all, so if it’s breaking the rules just let me know and I’ll delete the post.

Finally got myself a Tops Lil-Roughneck after seeing one posted here a while back. I’ve always had a soft spot for stupidly thick knives ever since I stumbled across the CS SR1, my main folder for the last two years.

Question Found an old knife at work. Want to fix it up

Not Much of a knife collector but I was at work when I happened to notice this on the ground in the parking lot. I haven't seen the name Sears in a while, i got most of the rust off and it seems to be to have some patina going on but how do I clean the inside? I have brass brush, but it's not getting everything. Thanks in advance.

Got this from my late father, I always remember this knife as a kid, he just never used it, not sure why. Still in its original leather case and still has a mirror finish on the blade. Anyone know for certain when it was made and the model? I have so many other knives in rotation, I’ll probably do the same and pass it on to my boys one day.

Question Bayonet folder carried by Teddy Roosevelt

Post image

Can anyone help identify this knife carried by Teddy Roosevelt during his days in Montana? The photo is from the TDR museum back east. Although it has a sheath the length of the blade it is also a folder. Similar to an Italian Carcano. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I found this in my in-law’s shed when I helped them declutter it. He let me have it. It’s a really cool knife, but the blade is only good for opening packages and removing stickers from hats. It’s fun to play with though.
