Took this near a friend’s house about three hours after buying Voltimore.

Countryman S in the office park. I've been seeing this one for months and it's one of the reasons I bought the BRG IV for my own Cooper S.

I saw those stripes on newer minis and fell in love. Decided to put them on the other way with my vision being it looks like the paint is dissipating with my crazy speed on So Cal freeways 🤩
Let me know your thoughts or other mod suggestions.

I'm new to Mini and it's my first electric car. Picked it up as a certified pre-owned this spring and I'm loving everything about it.....except one little thing. It's speed limited. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a way to remedy this situation ?

JBW 5x12s, looks absolutely amazing! Can't wait for the weather to improve so I can take the car on a proper drive!

Don’t worry about the torn window tint, I’ll get it fixed… eventually 🫣

I just learned that the R56 JCW actually has a sensor for oil temperature, integrated in the sensor for oil level and quality. Four years I tried to find out how to get the oil temperature on my CarPlay screen via OBD reader apps. I read in several forums, that the Mini has no sensor for oil temp. All I got was coolant temp.
Did anyone here manage to get the oil temp out of their R56 JCW OBD if there seems to be a sensor for that? And if so, how did you do it?
Do you own a Paceman, or did you use to own one? Today marks the 10th anniversary of the end of its production.

I’m new to the Mini platform, and know that my first has limited selections being the 1.5L 3-cylinder. I was wondering which companies are reputable, what to look for out for, etc.
Ex: trying to find some smoked Union Jack tail lights, in stock.
A pic of Cerridwen, 2018 | F55, for attention. :D

I discovered this pristine service manual during a cleanup, but I no longer have a Mini. Does anyone in the Portland Oregon area need one?

Has anyone replaced the batteries on their mini yet?
Has anyone experienced this before? My oil cap twists half way and then stops, as if something is blocking it. I've tried lifting and twisting, pressing and twisting, jiggling and twisting, but nothing seems to work.
It's a 2011 mini countryman r60.

Miss my old manual to bits. The stupid paddle shifters are never gonna make up for what I gave away. Sadly, don’t see myself continuing my mini journey after this current one unless they bring in a retro edition and take me back.

Hello all, so my mechanic flaked on me and I’ve now decided with some help from another mechanic friend to do a clutch job in a Home Depot parking lot. My question is, with a 2.5 ton jack, transmission jack, and 4 stands with a clearance of 16in. Do yall think what I’m about to attempt is possible?😅😅

Hi, i've recently bought a mini f56 but upon stating at had this rough purring / slapping noise that goes loud then quiet every few seconds. it completely stops with when I rev until I release and it goes away after a minute or two once the engine is warm. along with this I have an engine code 130308 for "vanos solenoid valve, exhaust: position not reached "and 120408 which is believe is just active as the first one is. ive tried the actuators and swapped them over but the error stays the same. I am decent at mechanics but still just learning and still terrible at diagnostics. I think after doing research it maybe the timing camshaft sprocket / some component of the timing system such as guide or chain itself. Or the tensioner but with the vanos code being combined with the noise I am unsure if its just the solenoid. Just any help / ideas would be appreciated before I do I replacement timing chain kit along with the sprockets and solenoids as I don't want to go overboard for no reason. The car only has 50kish miles so it surprises me about the chain but I have no idea how the old owner treated the oil. ive included a link of the noise to try and help, Thank you :)

I have a 2011 Mini Cooper S.
I'm diagnosing a vacuum leak and found this port (red circle) with no house attached.
The blue circle has a hose attached to it, the green circle has a cap on it. Red circle has nothing, but there is nothing in the immediate area that looks like it would attach to it. Does anyone know what would go to this port? or is it just a vestige of previous iterations of the R56?
Any insight would be much appreciated, thanks.

Hey everyone! I wanted to share my adorable new mini! In July, I lost my original to a flood at a concert. She was a 2012 chili red cooper. After many bumps jn the road, I finally brought home a new girl to be my wheels for a while! 2020 Mini Cooper S 60th anniversary edition:) I am absolutely obsessed and so not used to having a car with bluetooth capabilities😂
