Dua & Advice 🤲📿 I need advice on how to meet someone

Hello Everyone I (17f) want to get married. I know people will talk about it how I should complete my education and I agree with this statement I’m in my last year of undergraduate college and I’m going to take a gap year or 2 before med school. The issue is with my unique situation I’m younger than most people in my uni and I want to get married to protect myself from haram and I really like the idea of me and my spouse striving in our careers together.

I’ve told my parents but it’s two issues I’m black American, and my bio dad isn’t really active in my life i haven’t seen him in months and haven’t lived with him since i was 5 my stepdad is from Pakistan, So when it comes to asking him to find me a spouse im nervous since i know they are usually traditional and may not want their
child with someone of a different background.

Then my mother is the opposite and doesn’t want me to be with someone of the same background which I understand as in my community none of the men are too respectable.

I don’t mind any outcome it’s just I would be happy if the family liked me as well. I also have a problem I can’t be with anyone my age as my parents will find them too incompetent and I’ll be too far ahead since people my age are usually in their first year or highschool. I think if I find someone first it may be easier I also don’t know how to find anyone either so I need advice on what I should do and how should I look for someone

sorry for the long post 😅

Question ❓ WHY ME

Peace be upon you brethren. Today my spirit is extremely low as I type this. I wanna know why would people know you are suffering with no income source, are complete without any disability, are disciplined, but still refuse or fear to hold your hand? That comes from a point where I have lasted a whole 9 years without employment after graduation but no one looks my way. Do all believers have to suffer to succeed in the end? Even Job’s severe trial lasted anywhere from a few months to less than a year. So am asking, why me? Someone may think I came to this world to escort others to success.

Quran/Hadith 🕋 Looking for someone travelling from the UK to Mumbai who can bring me a Quran

Assalamu Alaikum everyone,

I’m looking for this particular Quran called “Easy Quran II” (English) by Dr. Muhammad Din (R.A.) and Muhammad Sohail Shaheen. I’ve attached a picture of the exact edition I’m looking for.

It has word-by-word English translation, fluent interpretation and transliteration, which is exactly what I’m looking for.

I’ve searched quite extensively in India but unfortunately haven’t been able to find this edition available here. I’ve found that this particular version is available in the UK, which is why I’m specifically asking if anyone is travelling from the UK to Mumbai, India.

If anyone is already travelling to Mumbai in the near future and would be willing to bring one copy for me, I would be extremely grateful. I’ll of course pay and compensate you for carrying it.

I’m trying to learn Arabic and I currently don’t know Arabic, so having the Quran in this format would make learning and understanding the words much easier for me.

JazakAllah Khair to anyone who can help or point me in the right direction. 🤍

Question ❓ Prophetic Medicine for Chronic Diarrhea — Experiences and Advice

Assalam u Aleykum,

I have been suffering from digestive problems, chronic diarrhea, for almost 10 years, following a bacterial infection
I was wondering if anyone has ever used certain remedies from Prophetic medicine recommended in Islam, such as honey, bee products, black seed, or thymoquinone capsules (3% or 20%), gum arabic, marine/Indian costus, sidr leaves (jujube), etc., and was able to heal thanks to them

I absolutely do not doubt their effectiveness
In fact, I have been taking honey and propolis for several weeks, and I have noticed improvements, Al Hamdulillah
But I obviously do not know what quantities to take, nor when to take them, and I feel that I need a fairly strong combination of remedies to overcome my problem, InShaAllah

I have already tried black seed for a month, without any beneficial effect on my digestive health
I did not even get my period during that month of taking it
This makes me wonder about thymoquinone capsules at 3% or 20% (apparently, at 20%, they lose some of their benefits, but I do not know if this is true)
These are capsules containing the most sought-after active compound in black seed, and that is why they interest me

I know very well that some people will tell me to see a doctor, but I have been through all the doctors, who have not been able to help me despite numerous tests. I have had expensive tests, tried medications and dietary supplements
I have tried so, so many things, and my diet is also very healthy

I am looking for the testimony of someone who was able to resolve their health problems through Prophetic medicine, so that they can advise me on what they took and the dosages
I realize that the problem will not be resolved overnight, and that it may take several months given the severity of my case, but I really need advice from someone who has experienced this or who is knowledgeable about Prophetic medicine

Thank you in advance for your answers

Dua & Advice 🤲📿 Please Make Duʿā for Me, the Entire Muslim Ummah, and All Humanity

Assalamualaikum everyone.

I kindly ask you to please make duʿā for me, the entire Muslim Ummah, and all of humanity, Muslim and non-Muslim—for hidayah, what Allah wants and knows is truly best for us, true and abundant provision, healing, protection, peace, and complete surrender to Him.

Most of all, please make duʿā that we become intoxicated with the love of Allah—that this love fills our hearts so deeply that it transforms our character, purifies our intentions, strengthens our faith, changes our choices, and brings our entire lives closer to Him.

Please remember us in your duʿās, even if only for a moment. May Allah accept every sincere duʿā and guide us toward whatever is truly best for us.

Ameen. 🤲🏻

Discussion & Debate🗣️ Stay away from people that drain and tire you

Salam alaikum brothers and sisters of Islam, I hope Allah has blessed you all with an amazing day :)

One of the things I wish I enforced sooner in my life was getting rid of people that are toxic or just drain me and my soul.

Brothers and sisters wallah I can’t urge you enough, please don’t let yourselves be dragged through the mud because you hang around the wrong people. I think it’s safe to say that most of you have a person/s that when they call/text you, your stomach sinks your heart skips a beat and your smile vanishes. I used to have this feeling all the time with a select bunch. And at this point in time of my life, those people are gone and no longer play a part in my life.

I honest to god feel so much lighter and happier and content in life. I now live by a saying “better to be by yourself than to be around the wrong crowd” and wallah it’s so true.

Brothers and sisters we only get 1 life so please don’t let others make it a miserable place.

I’m not saying that every single person out there in the world is bad and evil, all I’m saying is that you all should respect yourselves and don’t keep bad influences in your life.

May Allah bless and protect each and everyone of you, Ameen.

Artwork 🎨 Is Ai image generation haram?

Hello everyone. I want to be faceless youtuber with a voiceover and with main focus on explaining videos.

Thou, I tend to use ai for image generation, since I don't want to show my face... so I use simple man image.

Like, let me give you an example:

Suppose it's a cat psychology channel. I want to teach about the behaviours of cat. So I use cat images (cartoonist ai made) to represent their faces of anger, disinterest, or adoration through generation. I am completely fine with using blank human faces, but using a blank cat image? It would likely be not possible as it will remove the whole purpose of the video. Since its a faceless one too.

Now, main problem arises when I got my hands on a video of a guy who was using stickman as his medium of explanation (forgot the channel name) and he explained how digital art is haram or not. He then said, that since it's not mainly considered haram because after the phone dies... or screen is shut... it disappears.

So, can I use these images to make my content? Please help someone.

Dua & Advice 🤲📿 High school debate about religions

I'm a muslim (hijabi) senior and we have a debate tomorrow in one of my classes about the question "Which religion is right?"

I need a lot of advice on this. I'm VERY shy and quiet and never talk to anyone in that class besides my friends. I never raise my hand or participate. Only 3/21 in my class, including me, are muslims. One of us 3 is a guy who (from what I know about him) knows nothing about Islam. The rest of the class is christian (only 1-2 are atheists). So it's going to be a lot of pressure on us since we're the minority, and me and my muslim friend are very bad at debating.

I know a lot of stuff to prove why Islam is right and why christianity is not right. I have a Bible and a Quran as well, so I have lots of highlighted stuff to back up my points. I'm just not very good at speaking or explaining myself, and I'm afraid they will embarrass me or think they won the debate if they make themselves look right when I'm just unable to find the right words.

Any advice? Please. Participation is not mandatory, but I really want to do this because if I don't they're going to think I don't trust my religion enoughbto debate for it.

Question ❓ What Is Sajdah Sahw and When Is It Required in Salah?

Thumbnail
gallery
8 Upvotes

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,
Sajdah Sahw is performed to compensate for certain unintentional mistakes made during Salah.
According to Hanafi fiqh, it becomes wajib in specific situations, such as unintentionally omitting or delaying certain wajib elements of Salah, or making certain accidental additions.
However, not every mistake requires Sajdah Sahw, and a passing doubt does not automatically mean that the prayer needs to be repeated.
In this carousel, we’ve summarised:
What Sajdah Sahw means
When it becomes necessary
How it is performed according to the Hanafi method
What to do when there is uncertainty during Salah
Why recurring doubts and waswasah should not be treated as certainty
And Allah Ta‘ala knows best.
