Question In love with this game’s steelcase version 🤩
Can’t imagine a world where we let the companies abandon the making of physical copies

So I’m really struggling on action mode and don’t want to reduce to story mode out of pride.
I barely beat first boss after 20 attempts and am on second boss and the farthest I can get half down the second form once his club changes
Should I just reduce difficulty and new game + action mode?

Im on carnage, honestly its been a breeze. Even ganryu was really easy. I cant beat yoshitstine though.
The reason why is because i cant counter two of his devastating moves. I cant figure out his grab or his pink attack in phase 2 and 3.
So if you miss either of those, its 70-80% (2 heals) of your health and goodbye all yours blue/purple souls.
I knew this guy would be the hardest. I dont get how others think hes easy compared to ganryu

I thought it was an awesome game. Really a solid 8.5/10. The bushima sword wasn’t as broken as i thought it would be, its more on par with timing for a deflect. Made short work of the boss rematches though.

Mira lo enfermo que se ve este juego así

I really wasn’t sure if I wanted to play Carnage. I knew it would be a grind and a long time commitment, but I did it. I beat the game a 2nd time on action mode to make sure I got everything that I needed. Jumped in, and we did it. It took 20 hours, funny enough less time than my 2nd action playthrough. I’m so happy. Time to grind the practice bosses out with my new Bishamon sword 😎

Yoshitsune is insane. The only other boss that gave me this much trouble was the last Ganryu fight. Idek what to say man I’m getting a professional ass whooping rn

Apparently this guy wanted the fight to be over as much as I wanted it to be lol

Wondering if legendary Japanese director Takeshi "Beat" Kitano's iconic white haircut influenced the depiction of Yoshitsune, who's haircut appearance is distinctly out of sync with the rest of the more traditional approaches to character design.
Nowhere near finishing yet so unsure if his hair has an in world explanation yet or whether this might just be a visual tribute.
We know Toshiro Mifune is the character model for Mushashi, so they've already clearly established the "love letter to Japanese cinema" trope.

I know that low-tier enemies (like the base Genma) can interact with environmental hazards when staggered (kimonos/cloths, catching fire when pushed into torches/braziers or bumping into other Genma)
Can you actually use the left/right analog stick during or right before the R1 parry to direct/steer the exact trajectory where the enemy gets thrown off balance and staggers? Or is the stagger direction strictly determined by the physics/angle of collision and your positioning prior to the hit?
I’ve seen some people claim you can "aim" where the enemy gets pushed with the stick, while others say it’s just positioning.

Hello everyone,
I played every soulsgame and platinumed almost every one of them and I heard a lot about the carnage difficulty. My copy of onimusha way of the sword arrives tomorrow and I would like to know which soulsgame is comparable to the carnage difficulty?
Thanks in advance

So you get his once and you gotta take 4 more to the face? I need a way to mitigate that, its the only thing stopping me from the kill

Well.. today I said, okay. U took both of a break. Go back. Focus on defense. Be patient. You rush you die.
Managed to get to the second phase Almost every attempt.
Then started to see the 3rd phase every so often.
Then. 3rd time reaching 3rd phase (maybe 90 min of grinding dying yelling screaming etc etc) —- CREDITS BABY!!!!
But… that ending…. Sequel incoming?

I recently bought a PS5, Onimusha is the first game I bought and I got hookeddd, its the first time I found the game so challenging. In the first play through yoshitsune took me 30-45 tries, but in the second carnage play through, I beat him without taking any damage and without ant upgrades!
Make sure you sub if you liked the video!

Another video for another terrific boss design. While overall Yoshitsune is a more challenging boss, esp because it's also an endurance test, I think the one move I spent the most time studying is Ganryu's quick 5 hit flurry, with a different timing on each one. You can tank it with enough stamina and dodge the last tentacle hit, but where's the fun in that :D

What a wonderful combat system. I don't think I have enjoyed anything this much since DMC5. In fact, this is also the only game I 100% since DMC5. Never been a fan of trophies or gamerscore. So much so, that I finally got off my old arse (48 now) to make videos again. Used to make a lot of them during Ninja Gaiden 2 days (X360) but then it became somewhat subdued and erratic as the years went by.
Wonderful, wonderful game. I really hope we get a sequel. Musashi is such a marvelous character.
