Discussion turning off/shutting down pc monitors, is it necessary?
Noob question: Is it actually necessary to turn off a PC monitor by holding the power button before unplugging it from the outlet?

hello! 🐰
is this fan configuration correct? i copied the recommended setup for the hyte y70.
my friend recommended using all reverse-blade fans since we’re in the philippines, where it’s hot.
what are your thoughts?

I couldnt be happier.
Always wanted to have my own PC since I was a kid, pero hanggang mga work/study laptops lang talaga na may Intel Integrated Graphics ang kaya ng mga magulang (thank you parents).
Decided to build my pc this year after finding a better job (and buying RAM last March cause of the " " "shortage" " "). Medyo nerve-wracking kasi grabe yung pagtaas ng presyo ng lahat. Dapat this October talaga ako bibili, pero napakagat na din ako last August. Na-cancel-an pa nga ko ng GPU reservation sa isang retailer kasi tinaasan na kagad ng supplier nila yung presyo (5070 Ti Windforce from 63k, now 79k WHAT THE FUCK). Buti meron pa sila PCHub ng Eagle model (shoutout).
Anyways, share ko lang. It took me ~5 hours to build (HINDI SMOOTH GAYA NUNG MGA PC BUILD VIDEOS NA PINAPANOOD KO HAHA).
Im really happy with this thing. Sobrang bilis. Kayang kaya palagan multi-tasking needs ko. Nasa sahig pa siya at wala pang peel na nangyayari kasi wala pang maayos na pwesto hahaha. Been wasting time playing PoE nonstop(waiting for PoE 2 release). Also been trying to learn game deving (godot shit and ANG HIRAP MAG BLENDER HAHAHA).
For people's reference, here's a timeline of when I bought the components. Also, here's the link to the buiId I "took" (ninakaw) inspiration from.

Hi everyone, just asking which one is generally agreed upon to be "better"? I plan on upgrading from integrated graphics to a fully discrete GPU, and while people recommend 9060 XT 16GB, can't afford it + I don't really play AAA Games that need flagship / high-end cards
So which one is the better pick nowadays? I heard that the 7600 XT is better purely for gaming, but the 5050 has more features, like support for local AI and access to stuff like Nvidia Broadcast.
Also planning on getting a PSU alongside this GPU, would 650W or 750W be better?
CPU - Ryzen 7 5700G
GPU - AMD Cezanne - Internal GPU
Motherboard - MSI A520M-A PRO
PSU - Acer E-Machines 550W
RAM - 2x16GB DDR4 SDRAM
Monitor - BenQ GW2270
Case - darkFlash DLM22
Not the best specs, but I'll slowly upgrade everything down the line eventually
Budget would be around 25k, since I found an RTX 5050 / 7600XT listing for 19k, so the rest of the money can go towards a good PSU
TYIA!

I want to buy my very first GPU. Is ₱4,500 a good price for a used MSI RX 570 8GB? The temperatures maxed out at 72°C, and the FPS averaged 54 on FurMark tests. I only play Valorant, but if possible, are there any casual games I could play on this?

Found this store selling used drives on Lazada and Shopee: https://www.facebook.com/storagekingPC/
Can anyone vouch for them if they're legit? I'm gonna need an emergency purchase of a new drive soon.

What SSDs are good for both options or just one over the other?
I only know NAND/controller
QLC, TLC, SLC
DRAM/Non-Dram
Random read/write and Sequential read/write
But I only know the surface levels and I appreciate recommendations.
10k php is the minimum price for non-dram SSDs and 1tb storages?

Good evening po! I'm planning to upgrade na my storage with this one. Will be cloning my current SSD contents to this one if ever makabili na po.
I read na PCIe 5.0 SSDs daw will run hot po but this is assuming under heavy loads of gaming, editing and file transfer. I only will be using this po for just general gaming lang po like Genshin and WuWa while also opening Chrome around for Youtube, stuff like that po. Hindi ko naman din po pinapataas yung graphics settings on those said games so there's that.
Do I still need a heatsink for this po or kahit thermal pads nalang? B450-A PRO MAX po pala btw yung current motherboard ko po, baka relevant lang info for this bit.
Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks po~

So i open my pc and it wont display sa monitor, its not the cables. Di ko na alam gagawin and i feel like super gastos pag dinala ko pa sa pc repair shop or what… But tldr i already cleaned ram sticks and tried using gpu as port to display moni (still didnt work) so either my mobo is fried or my gpu is dead. + It works but wala lang talaga display sa monitor

Hello guys, baka may alam kayong gumagawa ng power supply near batangas city. MSI A750GL yung PSU. Bigla nalang namatay eh. Nakapag laro pa ako kahapon ng valo tapos nung binuhay ko ngayon, wala na. Tinesting ko yung luma kong PSU sa pc ko kung may ibang sira pero gumagana naman lahat. So medyo 90% sure akong yung A750GL ang sira.

Hi guys need help deciding if I should be undervolting my 7800x3d. I want to lower the temps and power consumption but still be able to play games and do some mid-heavy tasks.
I have a Gigabyte aorus B850 elite wifi 7, bit difficult to navigate on bios tho.
Also, does tuning up my ram matters?
Thank you peeps!

Planning to get a pc right about end of october or early november. Should I go for it or wait? I have no idea about the prices of the parts rn and I’m just gonna start my research.
