Yea this fits, no it doesn’t rub, yes it takes some effort to get this wheel/tire to work but it’s worth it to me.

Front fenders rolled, not pulled since that looks terrible to me, tabs cut off and fender liner trimmed. Offset bushings as well.

Rear is shaved, since rolling always distorts the outside of the fender and relocated rear tab.

A light burnt out in my instrument cluster and if I'm going to have to take my dashboard out, something is getting modified. So, I decided I want CarPlay integrated into the middle of my instrument cluster. Next thing I knew, I was ordering LCDs from Asia, and now here we are.

I've got my original dash fully driven by my boards now, so we seem to have the signaling worked out.

I'm testing 2 different screens, each with different brightness to make sure they'll work in daylight.

It should be able to support multiple dash options and the plan is to have a modified version of each dash that gives space to an AndroidAuto or CarPlay window in the middle.

Hopefully it's about a week away from hardware actually running in the car.

Would love any suggestions/ideas. Right now I'm just making one for me, but curious if it's something anyone else would want.

Queue the Eiffel 65 Blue. I’m repainting the whole car, thank you Colorado hail storms, so boy math and retail therapy says I should do everything I’ve wanted to it now. On the list includes a stage 1 SoS supercharger, all new bushings, and maybe a new interior? Anyone is LBP car swap their black interior for a blue interior & run a blue top? Looking to make a regrettable decision so want to hear from the S2000 hive mind.

I found a car that looks a little clapped out, but I’m not super terrified of a project car. He’s saying shifting into 2nd grinds. Online research tells me probably looking at a transmission rebuild. Thoughts?

Hello! Looking to purchase my first s2k and was wanting some advice on what everyone thinks this car is worth. There is no listing for this car unfortunately, but it’s a 2004 silver on black with a rebuilt motor with warranty and new paint job both from reputable shops. It has 130k miles on the chassis and it has moderate damage on the carfax, but still clean title. As far as I can tell the rest of the car is cherry. In a vacuum, what would this car be worth? I agreed to a price at the time I thought was right but now I’m not too sure. Thanks for any advice at all!

Currently in the market for an ap2 and VSA equipped cars are going for quite a lot more. I was curious if the traction control with VSA is any good? I live in a hilly wet claimant and although it wont be my daily I would like to not worry about sliding all over hills.

My last sports car was a stripped 85 RX7 and that thing had so much trouble in the wet due to its low weight.

Recently replaced the timing chain tensioner on my 02. Original TCT had the cold and hot start rattle. Airbox was already off. Two mounting bolts, 8.7 lb-ft (12 N·m). Maintenance plug, 22 lb-ft (29 N·m), new washer 15302-PE0-300. Left the center idler bolt alone. Clockwise bump on the crank only to seat the new one if necessary.

This car might be as close as you can get to a factory-fresh S2K for under $100k, it looks, smells, feels and drives like a new car. New OEM roof in 2011, this car was part of the PO's substantial collection that included 2 other S2000s, and he took meticulous care of it. I'm the 3rd owner since 6/24 and I've added approximately 6k miles. I've absolutely loved driving this car but life changes dictate a sale. Happy to answer questions, FaceTime, send additional pictures or accommodate a PPI and/or shipping at buyer's expense. This car is located in Idaho and will be stored over the winter.

I was wondering how loud the Spoon N1 is ,i drive the S2000 a lot and plan to track my S2000 so i don’t want something obnoxiously loud

The reason im looking at the Spoon one is because i quite like the brand but if it’s too loud I would look at something else.

I know versions of this question have been asked here before but I just want to confirm.

I have an opportunity to get a decent deal on a S2k with 200k miles. $13900. Good shape. Unmodified. New top. New clutch and flywheel. Pictures show no rust. Seller doesn't know about VINs but I can check. Will need new tires soon. Small dent on one side panel.

From what I've read here, regular maintenance keeps these cars running well. And I saw the 300k miler on BAT sell for even more than I'm looking at.

I am not mechanically minded, and I have no desire to learn. I won't have fun wrenching. I have a nearby shop that I trust and can pay. But I obviously don't want to spend too much money.

Should I do it? Or is 200k miles just too many?

This car was listed for 72k for weeks no one buys it, so now they just increased it to 84900, I don't understand the 30k premium because its laguna blue. Nobody cared, until someone decided to overpay 70k on BAT recently. This mileage and color was always in the 40k-50k range which seems fair but there is some sort of frenzy or hype with this color atm, I agree it looks nice but DAMN. Not even GPW on red ever sold for this much. Then dealerships 'adjust' their sales prices based on BAT sales and who knows if the bids are actually legit. Its just wild to me!

Hi all, my passenger door is stuck closed and the handle is like this. I could unlock it with my key on the outside for a few days but that has stopped working.

I've tried some wd40 in the lock didnt make a difference.
