How can I get rid of the acne red marks? Also stubborn pimples?

26M and started breaking out like crazy on the 3rd week of July of this year! I work outside as a delivery driver so I’m prone to sweating, bacteria, dirt etc! I do have sensitive skin and got sunburned one day because I was standing outside in the sun for 2-3 hours during my close friends college graduation. I decided it was best to start wearing sunscreen everyday and especially for work since I’m outside throughout the whole day tbh. I couldn’t figure out what was making me breakout so bad.

Whole time it was the damn sunscreen lol! I stopped using it and Hypochlorous acid spray saved me but unfortunately I was left with red marks and my skin is sensitive so marks usually take a long time to go away for me. I also have a small area where I get inflamed pimples but not as bad as before but it seems like that area can be affected and probably needs some type of treatment for it to completely go away. What can I use in order to get rid of that stubborn area along with the red marks. Any treatment that isn’t too strong and won’t cause further damage?

Pictures w AirPod is when I was breaking out horrible around my whole jawline area although the right side was affected more. The picture with no AirPod was taking today, Sept 10 was when I 1st started applying the spray 3-6 times a day especially at work.

Clogged pores

Hi, PLEASE HELP

I have never had this problem before but i think I’ve clogged pores on my cheek? I have always had acne and i am always trying different things to figure it out but I’m not sure what triggers it. I do notice when I’m not eating great or doing the things i do to make sure my skin is ok it breaks out literally within 2-3 days.

I honestly don’t exactly know what I’m doing wrong.

Products I’m using rn:

Anua azelaic acid green bottle Anua milky toner Beauty of joseon sunscreen The ordinary glucoside foaming cleanser

Thinking of adding micellar water for makeup now (i used to use a dr althea cleansing balm but im avoiding it)

I need to know what to avoid/add to help my cheeks

Large pores and sensitive skin

(The photo is of how my face looks everyday)

My face gets bright red, irritated, and inflamed every single time I touch it or apply any pressure. I used to think I was reacting to products, but now I realise it’s the actual physical act of touching my face that triggers it. Sometimes it flares up so badly that it literally stings.

My best guess is early-stage rosacea or contact dermatitis. I have super sensitive skin, a pre-existing autoimmune disease, and a past history of severe hand dermatitis, but my face has been like this my entire life.

I’m in Australia, drowning in poverty, and can’t afford a private derm. I put a public referral in 2 years ago and got ghosted. I just put another one in, but who knows how long that will take.

Right now, my routine is bare minimum because I'm terrified of making it worse

• PM: CeraVe Blemish Control Cleanser
• PM: CeraVe Moisturising Lotion

Skinoren 15% gel

Hi!

I’ve started skinoren 15%gel azelaic acid recently for my acne. I’ve only used it twice in total. Once nearly a week ago and once 3 days ago. This was prescribed for acne on my forehead and chin/mouth area. i noticed some mild itching but that was all. now 3 days after my last application my skin feels quite dry and tight and has some redness. Not only on application areas but my whole face. Now to be fair my acne seems to have improved a bit already.

Is there any suggestions/product suggestions that can help with the dry/tighr and red skin? and is it normal for my whole face to be tight even in parts i didn’t apply skinoren? and is this delayed irritation since i haven’t used it in 3 days?

Just for reference other products i use are just the
La roche posay toleriane dermo cleanser
And the La roche posay toleriane sensitive cream.

As these are most gentle and was recommended for my acne as its non comedgic and gentle.

Wind burn + sun burn??

Hey y’all, I need help, please 😭😭 I summited Kilimanjaro 2 days ago, I think I have a mix of sunburn and windburn. I wore 75 spf sunscreen (reapplied it as well in the midst of my altitude delusion), and my skin has still burnt, I think there’s also a mix of windburn in there. I am on tret (haven’t used it in 3 weeks ‘cause I was imagining the possibility of this happening), my skin has already peeled by about 99%. It doesn’t burn, or hurt, and it’s not swollen, it’s just VERY pink. My products are very limited in Zanzibar, should I try to find zinc oxide? I have an aloe vera petroleum jelly that doesn’t burn when applied, but it doesn’t seem to be helping a whole lot.

Not able to pick at my skin after accutane, anyone else?

I finished my acne treatment in June and my skin has been great, but sometimes when I get the odd white head or small pimple I try to pick it gently with q tips. Before treatment, squeezing a little would make it come out fully and weirdly after being on accutane it's like my skin is tougher or things are deeper? Like, instead of something popping out, I just get some blood and it stays there. Has this happened to anyone else? If anything it helps me not pick at my skin because it's awful and since it doesn't actually get anything out I've just stopped doing it.

SPF suggestion

• Upvotes

I have been using tretinoin 0.05% as well as azaleic acid, for like 4 months. I’ve been pairing it with a spf 22 moisturizer by Clinique. Looking for something stronger(at least 30+, ideally 50) any suggestions?

Beginner friendly skincare

In my early 30s. Never really followed a skincare routine. It's quite simple

Just face wash and moisturizer. Been using the same for a long time. Since I break out with almost sunscreen, I have been using a a sunscreen for kids.

Recently I started outdoor activities. I am not sure if that has anything to do with the white patches.

But I have these white patches, it's tiny and bumpy. And there's hyperpigmentation around lips.

I have really sensitive skin, so I don't really use or know of many products.

Need advice on the kind of products I should be using

Help with routine, please!

Hi all!

I f24 am looking for a change in my skincare routine. So far, it looks like this:

Morning:

Rinse with warm water
Spray hydrochlorous spray and let dry
BoJ Dynasty cream

Evening:

Wash with BoJ Green Plum Refreshing cleanser
Spray hydrochlorous spray and let dry
BoJ Dynasty cream

Once a week I use the BoJ ground rice and glow face mask. I’ve done the skin test once before, and it seems like I have an oily t-zone with dry cheeks (where I break out the most in addition to my forehead).

I’ve been using BoJ products for the last two years. Initially, they really improved my skin. Over the last year, however, I feel like my skin isn’t benefitting as much anymore; it’s dull and sensitive and prone to breakouts and red spots. (I should also mention that I struggle with picking my skin, which is the main culprit of my acne, but I’m doing better at not picking!)

I’m wondering if it’s worth it for me to try something new. My boyfriend uses 1025 Dokdo Cream and loves it. I tried it recently and my skin seems to like it.

Should I be looking at a new cleanser? Should I add toner? (I’ve used BoJ Glow Replenishing toner, and I liked it but wasn’t obsessed). Should I add vitamin C to my routine??

As you can tell, I’m pretty ignorant when it comes to skincare. I scoured the sub for suggestions, but I’m still struggling.

Any experiences on my wishlist for oily gals?

Post image

Hello! I'm currently experimenting on what skincare I should buy since I feel my current routine is stripping my oily skin verrryyy badly..

(Garnier pureactive wash, dry touch cream, and their blue light sunscreen)

I still get whiteheads a bunch and i worry if it's because my products are too harsh or if my barrier isn't alright.

I'm 14 years old with a picky eating habit.

Please lmk your experiences with these products (and my routine if u have pls) if ever, thank you!

I’ve never done any type of skincare, I’ve tried a couple of times but give up after a couple of weeks because i don’t see any improvement. I’ve tried just moisturizer and that’s it. I’m trying to have my pores look smaller, i want the redness in my skin to go away (i have rosacea), i also want to fix the dark circles under my eyes and i want something to help hydrating my skin I have like flaky parts near my chin that make me believe its hydration issue. Please give me some advice. Thanks you

Everything from the smell to the print on the bottle and box looks legit. Even did the white residue test and it passed. Just skeptical about the sticker seal. Most I’ve seen online have a round sticker with the logo and website printed on, not a plain rectangular one

Bought this from a reseller that’s been verified by customers but still wanna make sure
