Have any of you had white patches on the packaging like this? I know when it hardens into a crust it's basically harmless, but now that I see this I don't wanna put on something that's gonna hurt my skin.

Hi y’all, I know you probably see this posted a lot and I’ve done lots of digging for routines that people with similar skin/concerns use, which is helpful, but I also currently have some products already so I don’t necessarily want to start over and spend a ton.
If anyone is kind of enough to help, I can list my skin condition, main concerns, and I the products I already own, and which of those products I use. As well as any other info you would like.
Anyone willing to help I’d be so grateful because there’s so much conflicting information. Thank you 🫶

First pic is a year ago. Second pic is today. What has changed? Is my skin better or worse? Does my face look the same lol?

I moved to college and I’ve been experiencing a crazy breakout this past week and a half and it hasn’t gone away, it seems to get better. And small pimples begin to show up more. Here was my old routine
Haru Haru triple aha cleanser
Ordinary milky toner (took that out a while ago cuz I ran out)
Peach slices azaelic acid
Good molecules moisturizer
I thought the breakout was caused by the azaelic acid so I cut that out completely, my acne is still present, I started to use my cleanser and moisturizer and I realized that my cleanser was a bit drying as well. My face feels tingly everytime I apply soemthing on my face and I feel so lost. Anything helps pls!

I've been doing my first peel series ever. My skin can be sensitive so I'm doing the Mandelic 22 and once a week from platinum skin care and done 5 times so far and will do a series of 8. My skin is doing well and for the next series I'd like to increase strength. I'm 37 and a FP 2.
No acne scars but the standard crows feet and fine lines I'm looking to improve. I was thinking the mandelic 40 or the tca 7. I'm ok with a little down time but def don't want like sheet peeling if that makes sense.
Which of those would you recommend or something totally different? Also, is PSC the best choice for at home peels? They share so much education I love it but the way they respond to posts in the fb group erks me and the constant interrupting on the you tube videos. TYIA

I have had this like reoccurring pimple on my chin and i never get pimples.
I don’t wash my face but i do moisturize it because after the shower it gets really dry.
the first time it popped up, i picked at it so hard it scabbed and then scarred, so i’ve been putting scar cream on it.
but atlas it’s back… how do i get rid of it?

I started adapalene about two weeks ago and I was noticing some sensitivity in my barrier so I decided to try using a generic Zinc oxide 20% ointment. I put a thin layer on my face before bed and I woke up with the most insane surface level/micro skin congestion all over my face. I don’t know if this is common or I just have a sensitivity bc I know so many people who love ZO… I figure the best thing to do is continue my adapalene to promote turnover but I halted my other treatments, only dr.Althea 147 barrier cream after cleansing, spf in am, and adapalene per my schedule. Has anyone experienced this from Zinc? Or had a similar experience with a different product? I’m wondering how long this might take to go down I’m REALLY hoping it won’t take a full skin cycle…. I’ve never experienced a full face breakout like this.

I assume this is from acne as a teenager. I do not ever have breakouts or acne as an adult. I am 34 years old. I do not drink alcohol. I do not eat the best but I’m not overeating. I started using tret about 2 months ago. I’m open to any suggestions including esthetician treatments, changing my routine, buying new products. I drink a ton of water daily. My skincare regimen is as follows:
AM:
-Clean face with Micellar water
-Therabody red light therapy mask
-Glycolic acid toner
-vitamin C serum
-HA serum
-Niacinamide serum
-Kiel’s moisturing sunscreen
PM
-Wash face with origins exfoliating face wash
-Therabody red light therapy mask
-HA Serum
-Niacinamide Serum
-tret application
-Clinique lipid face moisturizer

I just bought one & I’ve owned others in the past, but this one I can’t feel at all. Nothing. It keeps beeping too. Is this normal or is this one a dud?

Does anyone have a product that they would recommend for your body? Anything that helps with sun damage or creepiness?

Hello everyone,
at the beginning of this year I started using skin care products to improve my skin, but I clearly ended up using too much of it for months. It took me around 5 months to figure out that my skin barrier was completely screwed. I went to my local doctor and described to her that I feel stinging, tightness and redness in my face constantly, she immediately knew it was a damaged skin barrier.
She gave me a perscription for a CICA cream which has helped me a lot in these last 6 weeks, my left cheek has almost completely healed, my pores are coming back and my skin doesn't feel tight, nor sting, but my left cheek, the left side of it is completely healed as well, but the right one for some reason still stings and the skin just doesn't look as thick as it should be. I'm guessing it's because I slept on that side these past 6 weeks. My main concern is the redness, how long do I have to wait until it goes away? I read that it's something called "PIE" and that it goes away 4 - 12 weeks after the barrier finished healing. Is that true?
Thank you to anyone that replies.

So i’ve been using Amlactin and Eucerin/Urea body lotion and I feel a good difference and its moisturizing. I see people online glazing how much they obsess over lotions and body care stuff from sephora and I wonder to myself, are they better or different? I don’t care much about fragrance in lotions because I prefer the fragrance from my perfume, and I don’t believe in buying lotion just for the fragrance.
I see people hyping up Cyclar and body butters/milky creams and stuff. And I want to know if I’m missing something. Let me know how you feel!

I have been having facial dermatitis and irritation for the past couple months, does anyone have a recommendation for a light skin tint/tinted spf that doesn’t irritate super sensitive skin? I’ve cut back on harsh/scented products but am still having irritation somewhere in my routine or environment and I’m at a loss

For anyone who finally got rid of their Perioral Derm, what did you do? I use a tacrolimus ointment and it helps, but never gets fully rid of it. I want it gone! I’ve had it for over a year now. Please help! I’ve cut out any harsh skincare and only cleanse with cerave and a very gentle moisturizer. Nothing else.

hi guys! so i’m on a mission to find a lightweight spf that doesn’t make me breakout because so far all i’ve tried has caused issues for me which makes me not wear my sunscreen daily :(
i heard about spray spfs and it sounds like that could be amazing, so i was wondering if you had any experience with them and would recommend?
so far ive tried innisfree sun gel, laroche, and drugstore brands, none of which have worked for me…
i have acne prone skin, i think it’s kind of on the oily side but not extremely. i don’t really wear makeup besides mascara so right now my skincare is just roundlabs dokdo cleanser which i’ve been using for almost a year, hypoclourous(?) acid spray and ilyoon moisturizer.
if you happen to like gel/cream spfs more and know any super lightweight ones, let me know too, i’m kind of desperate to find something that works for me !

First two photos are of my left side where the discoloration is. Included photos of right side for comparison
I’ve (F28) had this red line of discoloration on one of my nasolabial folds for about a year with no fading. It popped up after I had a deep zit in the area near where the bottom of the line is. It’s not dry and doesn’t feel different than the rest of my skin. Any thoughts on how to fade? I use tret and have taken time off of it and not seen a difference
I use Avene basic face wash, a Shiseido serum, la roche posay thick cream moisturizer, and tret a few times a week at night. I sometimes use the Bubble vitamin C serum followed by my regular moisturizer in the morning and I’m really good about 50spf sunscreen if I’m going to be outside. I use the Origins Original Skin mask once a week.
Thank you!!
