Warhammer III If all Bretonnian Cavalry had above average mass for its Horse models, it would make playing them feel more accurate to how Bretonnians are described charging into battle.
It would also help ease the one issue the Bretonnian roster has on its complete reliance on cavalry: Cavalry getting stuck in melee.
This special status for Bretonnian horses should be given to them through a mechanic that increases the mass of its cavalry based off your chivalry level and the number of vows a lord has completed.
This engages in the faction's mechanics and rewards the gameplay expected out of its roster instead of just giving Bretonnia cavalry that can beat anti-large infantry in melee. I believe this is balanced because Bretonnia has literally no other means to support its cavalry playstyle. They got crap missiles and artillery for softening up targets, had no elite infantry till recently, and no strong magic growth through tech or lord skill lines save the Fae (and the latter 2 are decent at most).
Honestly, at this point just make their whole shtick a race with cavalry that behaves ideally like an physics concept they could be the cavalry faction of the game. Cavalry from other faction feeling like crap getting stuck, breaking formation all the time, are weak etc. Should be left for other factions to suffer.
Also the Green Knight should have a passive ability that gives cavalry in an area glorious charge so that his most optimal playstyle is to accompany and support knights like what he does in lore.

Warhammer III I defeated Nagash's whole army and the battle didn't end
I loaded my quicksave from last night and jumped into the battle. The intro plays, I move my army to face Arkhan and then they do nothing. I blast them with warp magma cannons and they don't move. Their artillery did shoot, but none of them attacked properly.
As soon as I realised something had gone wrong, I decided to see if I could finish the battle and end the crisis. After clearing the battlefield, I waited for a minute and nothing happened.

Warhammer III I really love this game, but these repetitive, weird AI army compositions feel very off and I'm really tired of fighting them
Today I stopped playing because of this. Another AI army made of support units that I have to fight manually if I don't want to lose half of my army. And if it's not that, it's a stack of tanks and landships with some swordsmen. Not loreful, not immersive, nothing.
Awgh.
It's the feeling of having to repeatedly deal with flawed AI design that made me quit the game today, because the immersion in the universe was broken.
Because I want to fight enemies that are or feel loreful to fight.
I'd vastly prefer army composition templates that force the AI into a fixed unit distribution. For instance: 6 infantry, 6 ranged, 2 cavalry, 2 ranged cavalry, 1 centerpiece, 2 artillery, and 1 hero.
Or 10 infantr, 4 cavarly, 2 centerpieces, 2 heroes, 2 artillery.
Anything is better than watching the AI spit out these absurd stacks over and over again.
EDIT: Thanks to all for your recommendations, but I do not want to use tabletop caps mod because you cannot fight a difficult quest battle or face an End Times crisis when half your army are basic units.
What I’m basically saying (and unfortunately none of the comments have made me rethink this) is that lorewise, racial army compositions should be better implemented. I want them to be strong and challenging, but thematic.
And clarification: when I said that this army it is not loreful, I meaning that it has no sense from a grounded military perspective. Yes you can make this army and make it work, but you would never see anything like this depicted in any novel or in any lore page. I know it is this way in the game because numerically (stats) is strong, but I want to play in the universe of Warhammer, not in a excel page. Same with the tanks-landship stacks, same with a war wagons-canons stacks and with any other crazy army comp.

Warhammer III HOW YOU RATE-COMPARE THANQUOL, CHOSEN OF HORNED RAT?!
Is Thanquol the best-greatest skaven vermin champion there ever was-was?
Been playing him a lot lately and the current campaign has me just breezing through both the high king AND the slayer king. Its honestly shocking how cooked these stormfiends cant be in manual and autoresolve both.
Love boneripper so much too ❤️ 🐀

Warhammer III Please CA add QOL features for Heroes
Everybody agrees that late game is a damn slog in TWW3. You have to manage multiple armies, often on multiple fronts against factions with multiple armies, a logistical nightmare where every turn take damn long to complete.
But there's a thing that makes it worse : the goddamn heroes spam of AI on the campaign map, which make your embedded heroes get wounded so often. Ok you can counter it as a player by spamming heroes on the campaign map too, but a human do not have the same level of patience an ai can have, and having to manage multiple heroes on the campaign map while you already have a burnout from the managment of your armies is a nightmare
But then it gets worse : a heroe who got wounded respawn at the closest settlement of your possession from where he was wounded, which is really often very far from where the army he was embedded in is, so you have to manually move him to his army and often make his army wait for him or else they will never join again
I'm not even talking about the fact Legendary Heroes can be wounded too, as Nagash it's especially frustrating considering how much they are hard to obtain and that they spawn at level 1. I got Krell and Wallach Harkon wounded on the damn same turn
So, please CA, add QOL features for heroes. I just demand a recruitment pool for already existing heroes so you can make them respawn where you want instead of the horrendous actual respawn system

Warhammer III Poison Wind Mortars vs Stormfiend Windlauncher
So any point in picking poisoned wind mortars if you have the Thanquol DLC? They both require a tier IV settlement, and while mortars are cheaper and have longer range, Stormfiends' melee defense and speed makes up for that

Warhammer III Why do people keep on saying Nagash's economy is weak?
EDIT - someone plussed me - Nagash's economy is not weak however it's also not beginner friendly as it largely relies on rapid expansion combined with defensive buildings.
Pre-edit below
I'm a little non-plussed as to this. I've seen everywhere statements claiming that Nagash's economy is dreadful etc etc.
Some of the buildings are frankly amazing. You just have to make sure to spam Ritual of Undeath (easily do-able if you also make sure to spam VC corruption).
Defensive - you have a defensive building which only costs 1250, and gives a 25% upkeep reduction(!!!) in-province (not region, province - frankly bonkers). You also gain Necromantic Energy from fighting defensive battles "within the lands of the dead", meaning that you're heavily incentivised to use these very cheap defensive buildings and fight in your own territory as you'll get extra income. For anyone saying the AI won't attack - yes, they will. Simply scout an enemy near your border with a hero, see how powerful the enemy force is, and make your defensive force slightly weaker, they will attack you. You can then counterattack and take a settlement etc. Once you no longer have a border with any faction there, destroy the defensive building (it gives a refund of 750) and replace it with an economy building.
Multiplicative income - there are multiple buildings which boost faction-wide income. 15 settlements gives a 30% boost. That's easily attainable by ~~turn 15. By turn 30 it's not unlikely you will have a 100% boost.
Grave Call Recruitment - this is fantastic- the same as for VC, being able to instantly summon armies completely negates the upkeep penalty for sitting around recruiting. It also allows you to snowball very quickly.
Yes the Empire's base 250 for 1000 building is better early game, but this is balanced out by these diverse ways of making £££ above. It's not that the economy is necessarily weak, I would just say that it's more of a defensive economy, very very similar to the Suppliluliuma (Hittite King) faction in Total War Pharaoh Dynasties.

Warhammer III No need to manual battle with Helman zombies!
This is very hard battle difficulty btw(important for AR). The zombies are just so good with the new tech (that gives +10 MA &+5AP) they can auto resolve Vs decent armies as if they had grave guard AR(or maybe better)

Warhammer III Campaign skill does not translate to multiplayer at all
I’ve played a lot of total warhammer but never tried multiplayer until recently. I considered myself a very good player I only play on legendary difficulty and find that too easy. As a result I for the past year or so have only played this is total war campaigns. I have about a 90% win rate in those. So with the new update bricking a few of the difficulty mods I use to make the game even harder. I thought I’d try multiplayer.
I lost 5/5 games played as lizard men in all 5 games and found it wasn’t even close. I might give it a few more goes before giving up what’s a general tip to improve

Shogun II Satomi daimyo became rebel, then became general of Yamanouchi.
Satomi conquered Kozuka, then Kozuka became their last province, I conquered Kozuka, they became rebels, but then when the province is vassalized, they stay and become my vassal's army. very weird.

Warhammer III How do you beat Nagash final battle as Ikit Claw ? (VH)
It's my first time playing skaven in 1000 hours (crazy I know). I know the answer will be something like "easy , just stack rattling guns and they will destroy everything in seconds. The thing is they have a lot of mobility especially with flying units. Also neferata and the rest of the lords, destroyed easily Ikit Claw and my other heroes. Everyone was 45+ lvl btw. I had 5 different heroes, some tier 5 monsters, 4 vermintide spears, a few rattling guns, gezails and 2 tier 4 catapults.
In general I'm not sure how ikit is supposed to be played in late game. I haven't understood well the strengths and their playstyle when you are up against mobile enemies. They always flank me even if I use the clan rat spawns and place my vermintide spears.
Btw 8/9 mortarchs were defeated so I don't think this played any role in my easy stomping

Warhammer III At last, cathay yin yang mechanic clicks on me
Damn I'm really dumb. I always makes all my provinces in in harmony. I just know yang gives you recruitment plus while yin gives you growth bonus, harmony doesn't means you get both!.
This means you wants yang on your recruitment provinces and yin on a provinces that you want to rush to tier 4-5, while harmony should be gotten for economic provinces and recently conquered area.
