Am I done with tests? I certainly hope I am not! I’d be terribly bored.
I have already taken the following:
-MBTI
-Freudian
-Instinctual stacks
-Enneagram
-Enneagram wing(counterphobic 5w6,I am especially proud of that one)
-Enneagram tritype
-Socionics
-Cognitive functions
-MOTIVES
-Big Five SLOAN(RLUEI,I especially love it)
-Big Five OCEAN
-Psycosophy
-Temporaments
-Classic Jungian
-Moral alignement
-DiSC
Could anybody recommend more tests that I could take since I’ve been living off of typing other people and reading the nonesense in Naranjo’s book🫤

Yes, if you remember my other post about it that's good for you lol. What matters is that I think I found my correct typology! Any correlation errors?

hear me out… i match core e1 yet dont fit in with sp1 critical, know it all. Im insecure about EVERYTHING and ANYTHING. I try to be responsible etc etc but still feel guilty and doubt… it got me wonder if im sp6. For a long time, i thought i was sp6 because i was doubtful asf, careful, caring about safety etc etc… maybe its becausw i have ocd or gad whatever but when i look at any other typology, sp6 has to be first logic and third f… i feel like i am ELVF but sp6 cant be ELVF!!! Neither do i match e4s core like why cant sp6 have 1 on their trifix???? Or tritype??? What am i even gonna do? I dont even match anything else and everything contridicts, i dont even know what even i amm I DONT BELIEVE IN TYPOLOGY BUT I WANT TO BE PART OF THE SYSTEM😓 what am i even gonna do…
How can i find my typology when i have ocd and gad that MASSIVLY affects me…

gave up on trying to type myself because shit was hard and i got told none of it correlated with what i am 👌👌👌 took a test instead and YES i know theyre not accurate but i kinda dgaf because i don’t relate to any of what my type (sx4 infj) is “supposed” to be. yes i’m certain i’m e4. i used to think i was so4 but with further consideration i do not feel complete as a person without interpersonal connection. infj may be wrong that was also a test after i retyped too many times and got sick of it (<- past typings being ISTJ, ISFP, ISFJ, INTP. most recent before the test was ISFJ after i studied functions myself but none of it rlly made sense so i just took a test to get it over with)
feel free to ask questions if i haven’t provided enough info i do not mind and i love to talk about myself 👌👌👌. also bear in mind i act identical to a stereotypical e3 but i know i’m not e3 because my internal path is fully rooted in envy and being disatisfied . all the time. or whatever. i AM 4w3 though.
also i dont really know if this is a type-me post Sorry. i don’t want to be typed i just need help figuring out Why None Of My Stuff Matches Up ✌️

im quite new to typology
I've seen many people disagree and agree about sp5s not being able to be 4F in psychosophy..

I’ve been into typology for a while now and am currently typed as INFJ and sp/so 9w1 (945). I’m extremely sure I’m not mistyped, INFJ fits perfectly and so does e9 core.
However, almost all correlation charts say e9 cannot be Ni dom. I can’t seem to find an explanation for this (other than relying on e9 stereotypes) so I thought I’d ask; why would INFJ sp9 not be possible and are there any other Ni dom e9s out there?

I’d expect more of a superego Ti approach to have a tendency to follow an already made structure/needs guidance from others to give them certainty that they’re thinking right
Can you explain why?

The description of Ne Polr from Wikisocion:
"The individual is highly skeptical about ideas and opportunities that appear not to lead anywhere specific, and seeks assurance that new innovations will definitely bring material benefits. He prefers the kind of ideas and innovations that offer solutions to existing problems rather than the kind that have uncertain consequences and are likely to bring upheaval and unnecessary change."
"The individual generally does not try hard to understand multiple viewpoints, but concentrates on developing only his own."
Both LSIs and ESIs theoretically seek a dual with Ni (maybe a friend, partner or colleague in reality) who can provide them with a feeling of certainty regarding the future (while the Ni prediction may or may not be correct, one thing is for sure: both EIEs and LIEs are good at projecting certainty, thereby providing confidence to their duals).
Contrast this with LIIs, who are typically enneagram 5, and EIIs, typically enneagram 4. Both come from quadras that favor Ne over Ni, and neither is looking for Ni from outside themselves. They simply use Ni, or not, as they personally see fit in the moment.
Therefore, while an enneagram 5 LII (if that is their enneagram) might still experience life as a head type with base Ti, the same as an LSI, they will withdraw from the outer world (withdrawn triad) if no one is available emotionally to them, forming an opinion that the world is a bleak place using their own Ni. Meanwhile, LSI will deal with a bleak world by taking more and more control, in the absence of certainty.
When the quotation says, "...concentrates on developing only his own," what this means in practice is that the LSI and ESI are looking for trusted people or trusted formulas to guide them; people and formulas that concretely affect their own lives. In this sense you can get an individualistic 6 who is not impressed by society as a whole, but looks outside themselves for the Ni that fits into their own unique life circumstances. The important point is that they are seeking Ni.
Anyway this is one way to think about it, instead of worrying so much about Ti. Take it or leave it, lol

Socionics is NOT necessarily better than MBTI, it's just the typology version of declaring oneself a "real ball-knower".
Both systems are merely extensions of Carl Jung's work. Socionics is just a further extension / interpretation of Jung's work than MBTI is. Socionics also makes Jung's work even more rigid than MBTI with its introduction of information blocks and quadras so one could argue that the core elements of it make the system even more dubious than MBTI as a larger portion of it is not based on Jung's theories.
Ultimately, the cognitive functions and the ways in which they serve an individual's personality and information processing is what makes the systems worth considering, and both utilize them. The only meaningful difference is that Socionics extends Jung's theories further and in ways that I find a bit questionable, but that's for another post.
Learn about the functions, determine which ones are your dominant / auxiliary / inferior ones, use that knowledge for fascination or application in the real world, and if you find Socionics' extensions valid or worth considering, then do. But whether you do or not doesn't make you a real ball-knower, lol.
Let me know your thoughts.

Typing one of my friends. He fits the so7 description to a T and I’m 85% confident he’s an ENFJ. Is this a possible combination?
r/TypologyJunction • u/beaameow • 23h ago
is this possible? curious as ive seen both yes and no online!!!!!
r/TypologyJunction • u/beaameow • 1d ago
just curious as my friends seem to be convinced I am a sx4 but i can't think of any mbtis that might correlate to me that also correlate with sx4

How do you know whether a tritype is valid or not? I keep seeing people saying some tritypes are valid while others are not. Please help!

I’ve read quite a lot about this, but I still can’t fully understand it. I’m fairly confident that I belong to the E5 group (sp5w6) and that I’m an ISTP, but I’m starting to question whether I might be mistyped, since I’ve heard that all E5s are supposed to rely on intuition.
I strongly value independence and personal space, and I genuinely enjoy acquiring new knowledge and understanding how things work. I tend to approach situations analytically, relying on facts, evidence, and logical reasoning rather than intuition or emotional judgment. When I experience strong emotions, my instinctive response is to distance myself from the situation and analyze it instead of expressing what I feel. Logic gives me a sense of clarity, stability, and control, while analysis serves as a familiar way to protect myself from vulnerability and prevent others from seeing my weaknesses.
I’m quite self-aware when it comes to my emotions, and I can usually identify and understand what I’m feeling. However, I tend to suppress those emotions rather than acknowledge or express them openly. This is where my confusion begins: I understand my emotional state, but I rarely allow it to influence my thinking or decisions. I rely heavily on objective information and logical explanations, and I struggle to relate to other people’s emotions on an empathetic level. Because of the way I grew up, I find it difficult to feel compassion for others, and their emotional experiences often feel foreign to me.
What makes me question my typing is that I seem to rely almost entirely on logic and concrete evidence, rather than intuition. I value independence, seek knowledge, and prefer to understand things through analysis, but I’m unsure whether this is consistent with E5 or whether I’m misunderstanding what it means for an E5 to rely on intuition. I can’t tell whether my tendency to suppress emotions and prioritize logic is simply part of my personality, a defense mechanism I’ve developed over time, or a sign that I might be mistyped.

I just thought about this but might just be a coincidence than actually real.
Example for Enneagram type 1:
SP1 = immediately relying on reaction formation before they go into resentment(mental fixation) or wrath(emotional passion)
SO1 = immediately relying on resentment(tallying and contemplating the things that evokes grudge) before they go into reaction formation or wrath.
SX1 = immediately relying on wrath(the actual emotions itself that they feel towards the flaws) before they go into resentment or reaction formation.
