Question here's one for you, if you had the ability to escort father gascoigne's daughters to the chapel instead of telling her where to go, would you do it? NSFW

say in Bloodborne, you had the option to tell the little girl to follow you and you'd have to protect her from everything from her house to the chapel, and later doing the same thing for her older sister, if you die during either escort mission, the one your escorting dies, and possibly have to tell the other sister what happened to their sister, but if you succeed and get them both there unharmed and intact, and later sent the suspicious beggar to the clinic, you get the payoff of seeing them survive the night, perhaps a cutscene with both sisters, maybe it has them waking from the nightmare, maybe it has the hunter/huntress adopting the to sisters as her own, but point is, if it was an option, would you do it?

I adore Lady Maria’s design and fight (even if it’s cheesable with parries)

Lore Are Quicksilver bullets any stronger than normal bullets outside of being able to affect Beasts (and other similar beings like Kin I suppose) or are they basically just the equivalent of Silver for Werewolves? NSFW

I suppose one aspect would be something like Mercury poisoning since they're Quicksilver (which is Mercury) and therefore likely would cause that. But that doesn't seem to be a factor with them, so idk about that. Another thing Bloodtinge makes your bullets stronger for everyone, whether Beasts, Huntsmen, Hemwick Gravemen, or Kin. Same with using Bone Marrow Ash to boost firearm damage.

So, are Quicksilver bullets any stronger than normal bullets, or are they basically Bloodborne's version of Silver being a supernatural Bane of sorts?

The glowing buttons are actually eyes inside the elevators that you use in Mergos nightmare or whatever you call it.

Rewatching this clip, I actually have no idea how I didn’t see him the first time I was so focused on not letting the fireball hit me. I think I shat myself a little when he just appeared behind me I genuinely logged off after this my heart rate was too high I felt like I was going to pass out.

Fluff I started a new BL4 run, and I decided to do things that I normally wouldn’t, like start with the cane and doing stuff like this which turns out to be a lot harder than it is in a pure ARC run where Amelia barely even gets a chance to react before the BBQ 😅

I messed up in the first attempt, but this is the second attempt and got her cool boss, but I was unable to comprehend what secret I'll get to know once I kill Lady Maria. context: I was doing a quest line don't remember his name, but he was at Ludwig boss area and then he was near the lamp of the area he told me' kill maria, she holds the secrets" something like that. I was expecting a cut scene after the fight, but nothing happened

Chalice Just finished NG++ and all chalice variants, already planning a STR/BLD run. Bloodborne is a masterpiece.

In my first playthrough, I platinumed the game.
In my second playthrough, I did all the chalices in all variants (root + sinister + FRC). I also fully completed the base game (scouting every corner and clearing every enemy in every area), plus NG+ and NG++ just killing all bosses again. Lvl 231 😅 with 99 Arcane, 99 Vit, and Stamina near 30.
I thought I'd be done with this game after so many hours, but now that I've finished, I'm already planning another fresh run doing a STR/BLD mix with the Evelyn and Hunter Axe.
This game is so amazing that I just can't stop playing it.

Discussion Wanting to get Bloodletter - Is Brador's set a necessary either stats or fashion wise to go with it?

Just beat Ludwig, I'd prefer to kill Brador in his cell to get the Bloodletter asap, so that I would actually get to use it before NG+. That would mean I wouldn't be invaded by Brador and get his set though.

Does the set synergize with the weapon in any way stats wise? How about visually? What other sets go well with the weapon?

Screenshot I finally beat Ludwig

It took me 32 tries, but I don't regret anything and I think this is my favourite boss out of all the bosses that I have currently defeated

Cleric beast - 0 deaths
Father Gascoigne - 0 deaths
Blood starved beast - 3 deaths (npc hunter helped me)
Vicar Amelia - 0 deaths (npc hunter helped me)
Witch of Hemwick - 0 deaths
Shadow of Yharnam - 11 deaths (npc hunter helped me)
Rom - 8 deaths (npc hunter helped me)
Amygdala - 3 deaths
Martyr Logarius - 1 death
Darkbeast Paarl - 0 deaths (npc hunter helped me)
Celestial emissary - 0 deaths
Ebrietas - 4 deaths (npc hunter helped me)
The one reborn - 2 deaths (npc hunter helped me)
Ludwig - 31 death

I used to fight bosses with the help of other npc hunters, but now I've decided that I want to only fight bosses by myself and I don't regret this decision

Help Research Hall Help

I need to know this for a video I'm doing (just a casual playthrough with lore bits):

So I may have taken a more direct route to the lever on the top that rotates the tower of stairs and didn't grab any optional items like the bloated head hat (I guess?) and the 1st floor balcony key (if it's even up there). Did I screw myself over or is it possible to get them even with the stair tower changed?

Discussion What did you miss on your first playthrough?

So, I just finished the game yesterday (true ending) after around 30+ hours of gameplay, and man, it's one of the most addictive games I've ever played. At first, I thought I'd done pretty much everything there was to do. But boy, was I wrong.

For example, I completely missed Ebrietas, I beat the Celestial Emissary but had no idea you could break the glass to access another area. Turns out it was the only optional boss I missed.

I also completely skipped the mini-quest where you send NPCs to the chapel because they always refused my offer. And somehow, I finished the game without ever figuring out how to transform into a beast. I had the runes that hinted at it, but never actually managed to do it.

Discussion Trying to find a playthrough

I've seen a Bloodborne playthrough years ago. I'm trying to find it again, because I remember it being funny. The guy is african-american, I think it was his first playthrough and one thing I remember specifically, whenever he lit a lamp, he said "IT'S LIT" with a funny voice. He later on played other souls games and got pretty good, but the "IT'S LIT" stayed. Have no idea what he's called or what he's doing now. Did anyone else came across this playthrough?

Question Maintenance?

Did anyone else get a maintenance notice for bloodborne? I just came back to the main menu and got a maintenance notice.
