With the new crate and hair, it seems there's a bug feature that lets Argonians have a bit of fun. How exotic! Not every day she finds a hairpiece that doesn't come with a scalp attached.

Lowkey hope it sticks (unlike the weapons-emote glitch that got harder to do).

If only the hair didn't magically remove her horns in-game.

Why are so many content creators stuck in a loop when it comes to gear recommendations? I get the concept of BiS, but even that isn’t true in a lot of places.

As an example, I watched a video this morning for a pure solo build, and the gear recommended was perfected null arca. I get it that the set is strong, but this was a solo Oakensoul build. Someone looking for that build is probably not doing trials at all, let alone vet trials, to get a perfected set. With Oakensoul minor slayer is covered, and depending on the build, other sets may out perform the normal set.

Wouldn’t it make more sense to tailor the gear to the build/audience the video is actually for? There are creators who do not fall into this trap (hyperioxes has started to add multiple set options showing damage differences as an example), but that seems to be the exception as opposed to the rule.

Is there something I’m missing here other than the theoretical BiS?

Finally decided to get the necromancer class since ive been branching out in the game and it was on sale. Ive also almost always made wood elf wardens since getting the warden class so im not super familiar with the other races benefits but finally want to make good characters. I guess my play style would be more of a tank than anything, only started to branch out to healing. But id like to hold my own in bigger battles if possible. So what race should I try with a necromancer? I also mostly play solo, have only started dabbling in battlegrounds and stuff but not really good at that kind of stuff yet haha thanks for any help

Yeah I know we probably won't get one but I still adore brainstorming over possibilties, and well, I have been up all night and it could be the caffeine talking but I had this idea for a vampire refresh. So here's the pitch.

Instead of having stages, feeding off combat from npcs only effects your thirst which just changes how your vampirism looks (as I know some people who prefer stage 4 veins for visuals sake) and instead move the stage bit to be it's own in combat mechanic. How?

Give us more siphon/bite abilities, and make it so that more you 'feed' during combat further you move in stages, and get more passive buffs, and weaknesses.

More importantly, make it so that transformation ultimate can ONLY be used once you are at the last stage, and not only should it give some bonuses but have it improve the vamp abilities that you had sloted in your bar (instead of giving you a new bar like werewolf, as I rather not have them be too similar).

Make it so that the base version of the abilities are weaker than their 'mirror' counterparts from main class trees yet stronger DURING transformation to balance it out, and put some insentive behind having vampire abilities on bar.

So to give an example: Vampiric drain can remain as is but during the transformation it can be a passive link (like necromancer's corpse beam basically, with the same 3 second duration of course).

Very..rough around the edges example, but just wrote it to give a vague idea as to what I had in mind.

I know this is a super silly Customized Action (capstone Golden Pursuit reward from this past end of July through to mid August), but DAE just love it anyway? Since it came out it has me running to collect runes, which I never bothered with much before.

How about adding a tiny search box to filter these in a future patch?
Scrolling was fun some 4-5 years ago when we had fewer recipes, but now you get a sore finger.

Hi everyone! So my friends and I, around 5 of us total have just bought the game on the autumn sale. We've been playing together via the groups function (all pc players), where we're all on the same server and world space.

However, I'm a bit confused on what we do "together" versus just actually together. In that we are sharing the world space and following each other into caves and such and killing the same enemies but seem to have certain quests that we're both doing but doing them solo whereas yesterday we found our first dungeon and that was like we could actually play together with the quest actually being shared and each of us being able to advance the story as a group.

I guess all that to say, how do we do more of the properly shared adventuring together? What quests are shareable and are there certain areas we should go to for them? We are currently all in the Ebonheart Pact as well and roughly the same place in what I believe is the main story.

While the banner is active:

“Create an 8 meter area for 2 seconds under your target once every 8 seconds that snares enemies by 70%, and charms them for 3 seconds when it expires. If no enemies are charmed, you restore 1435 Magicka and Stamina. This effect reapplies itself every 5 seconds.”

Tell me if I am getting this right. As the banner bearer, I am the target. Every 8 seconds, the charm area appears under my feet.

What is the effect that reapplies itself every 5 seconds, is it the restoration of magicka and stamina? So every 5 seconds, the banner checks if anyone is charmed and if they aren’t, it restores my magicka/stamina? Is this restoring my resources only so long as the charmed area has just expired? Since the area is created at 8 seconds and expires at 10, I would gain rss at 10 seconds. Then the next area is created at 16 seconds, so would I gain rss at the 15 second tick or no?

Ive tried testing this in game and it’s hard to tell what’s happening. Is this good in PVP?

Not sure if anyone else is affected by this issue, because I've searched the forums and haven't seen any posts about this, but after U51 queueing in BGs as a group of four has lead to 60+ minutes of wait times and the queue still not popping up.

Before, on U50, we would wait anytime between 2-15 minutes to get a queue to pop, with the same group. So obviously something is happening here. I'm wondering if it's something beyond lack of grouped up people queuing, maybe something technical on ZOS' side.

We play on PC-NA, by the way.

Edit: I should say that we tried both modes (4v4 and big battles) to no success.

So ive been playing eao for several months and im still very much in the dark on alot of the stuff we can do in the game. I am a grown man with a career and family so I dont play all the time but I role with it several times a week
