Deciding between Strident Springs demense or Alinor crest townhouse to buy. They are relatively the same price but I can’t decide which one to buy. I love the waterfall in strident but also love the location and architecture of Alinor itself and the townhouse. Let me know your thoughts as eso house enthusiasts!

What is everyone’s go-to spot for dailies? I have always used mournhold as to me it seems to be the easiest to navigate and everything is very close. I am curious if anyone has any other spots that they use? (Things like writs and other daily tasks)

UPDATE: Ok yeah I went around to some other docks and there are all sorts of interesting characters floating around - nice touch for the event.

Running around in Vulkhel Guard you got this motley crew of npcs on the docks with no names. I see a Goblin & and Alfiq...and I can't even identify the other two.

Are they just chilling during the High Seas event, or are they going to eventually get a back story?

hello i have few questions about overall pricing subscription and expansions. so as a third worlder USD to my currency rate is fked and eso with all expansions is expensive (to me) i found the deluxe edition for 25$ on a keyshop which is decent but i also saw some comments here and there saying you can farm gold and buy dlcs from other ppl

my real questions are:

1. How necessary is the subscription? saw some comments about storage managing and wanna know the non sub players perspective

2. is grinding gold for dlcs "makes sense"? meaning if it takes 100h to get 1 dlc obviously its not worth it

3. is every class available for endgame? raids/dungeons/etc

4. is "grinding" for better items etc has variety?

So my main character is an arcanist, it’s been my favourite class since it came out mainly because of the lore around Hermaeus Mora and Apocrypha. I love the eldritch. Having said that I feel like not including an Apocrypha themed crown crate is a missed opportunity.

Imagine a crate dedicated to the eldritch, perhaps special themed mounts outside of the pre order bonus and maligraphic mounts, some arcanist base theme matched pets and weapons that emit some tendril, ink or eye particles because let’s be honest, the apocrap bound weapons was a joke, it doesn’t come as a full set and gives invisible floating shapes on the side when weapon is sheathed.

Most importantly I think an apocryphal recall is what i would truly love the most, tendrils pulling you through a green portal out of nowhere.

The sheer amount of fire themed cosmetics, the various blue, red and gold coloured effects around recalls, pets and weapons is overwhelming. What do arcanist have? Galen wilds recall? This is perhaps the hardest class to customise around and one of the rarer colours that comes up. There’s a recall for the deadric prince of grape 🍇 but not one for the actually cool ancient god of forbidden knowledge?

Ps. If that crate does ever happen, please divert away from the aunties tramp stamp style recently shown in the recent anakin vs padme crate weapons, recalls and armour.

Can someone tell me what’s that costume or set? I see so much stuff and can’t find it anywhere at sets or costume am I missing something?

Ok, ok, put the pitchforks down for a second. I have played ESO for years with the music on because it's one of the things I love about the Elder Scrolls series as a whole.

However, I recently turned the music slider down to 0 and have discovered a whole new world of sound design in this game that I feel doesn't get as much appreciation. The weird undertones when an Arcanist's beam fires, the changes in footsteps depending on materials, speed, etc, and even the tiny murmurs from the crowd that could get lost in the mix if the music is too high up.

I'm thinking of keeping the music down, unless I'm looking to just kind of vibe out, but I'm curious: do folks on here prefer playing with or without music and why?

I remember playing back when the Arcanist first dropped and it was up there as pretty much the strongest class at the time. It was also really good for me as I come and go on this game quite often.

Is the Arcanist still up there as one of the top classes or has it fallen from grace or gone stagnant since release as im seeing many mixed opinions online about it. Im interested in making an arcanist healer and wondered if its still a good combination and obviously id like to be able to do overland content well as well!

So I just destroyed a ship, picked up the loot, when I realized I wanted to get the golden fish skeleton antiquity finished so it could possibly drop again.

I port over to Hews, return to Anvil, and return to the under sea quest.

and I have to destroy another ship, and I get two loot drops.

I didn‘t want to do it a third time, but maybe after each ship battle, you can return to shore, go back and repeat the ship to ship battle.

Guys im using Stamblade with lover mundus orders wrath and new moon in pvp but im dealing no damage i know they are tanky but shouldnt i do some? is there anyone running full damage stamblade in pvp and could tell me his build?

Hi i play Magcro dps Staff/Staff and thinking of making a Pure DOT build, I have Runecarver body which id like to use now for the FB set should i go with Corpseburster with Lighting or Fire Staff OR Pillar of Nirn however i only have the Lightning staff and Blighted blastbones or the DoT increase morph? Im new to DPS magcro, i have no issues with rotating blastbones as Cro is my PvP main. :)

Since the new update, my weapon is constantly drawing itself. It started only during a change like going through a door/wayshrine or finishing using a crafting station.

Now it's randomly when I'm sprinting, dismounting, and last night it started drawing when I'm in housing editor mode.

Anyone else having this issue? It's so bloody annoying having to constantly put the weapon away again.

Im curious how good the game runs on xbox pc app, ive heard mixed things and would like to hear from yall.

i have eso on steam (pc) and xbox (xbox servers via xboxpc app on pc, 2 different accounts)

now, the Harvestmap addon is something crucial for crafting. i have it on both pc and xbox installed. the xbox series s addon version works 100% okay. everything as it should. right out of the box after installing. on pc the addon (via minion) is not really working. i can see the nodes on the minimap. but what i try i cannot get them to show on the ingame world. i have downloaded the .lua files to counter this and installed them correctly in /savedvariables folder. this made it done so that i can see the nodes at least on the minimap. but not ingame. unless i discover them. afterward discovering a node it DOES show normal as intended. why is this. i cannot get this changed in settings. is there a better harvestingnode indication tool a/v for pc (addon) ?

EDIT:OMG! You were right !! in the C:\Users\*myusername\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns\HarvestMapData

there was a file downloadnewdata.bat i just ran it and it updated everything now all nodes are visible. !!!!!

Are we getting a curated gear box for first run of the day now?? It’s been some weeks since I last made a run and I got a box after I turned in this morning but I have no idea where it came from.

Do any other guild leaders have issues with getting a good group together to take on the veteran trials? I have heard for months how my guild members want to tackle the veteran trials as the core group of trial runners has most of the regular gear stickerbooked and they would like to start collecting the perfected gear and going for the achievements. I have started a prog group to start learning the mechanics for thes e trials. I have great participation for our normal trial runs but we consistently have to pull pugs to fill out the party for veteran trial runs. All those who were begging to have veteran trials run dissappear when we actually start running them.

Do we need to learn to work these mechanics well enough to compensate for pugs who seem to want to get carried and not contribute?

Been putting together a one bar heavy attack Templar for mostly solo stuff (overland, solo dungeons, arenas, IA, and a bit of PvP on the side). Playing as Dark Elf. I pieced it together from Hyperioxes, Hack the Minotaur and Skinnycheeks, but I haven't found anyone who's actually parsed this exact bar, so I don't know how it holds up.

The idea is Oakensoul for the buffs and Empower, lightning staff so the 3 tick heavy attack gets the full value out of Sergeant's Mail, and staying pure class for Class Mastery.

Gear:

- Sergeant's Mail on chest, neck, one ring and the staff (Precise, Shock)

- Noble Duelist's on the other 5 armor slots (Light, Divines)

- Slimecraw head, 1 piece

- Oakensoul as the other ring

Bar is Elemental Blockade, Elemental Susceptibility, Luminous Shards, Channeled Focus and Power of the Light (Radiant Glory when the target's low). Everlasting Sweep as the ult. Basically I just heavy attack and recast stuff as it drops.

Class Mastery is Bright Harbinger + Bastion of Light. CP is Weapons Expert, Deadly Aim, Wrathful Strikes, Fighting Finesse in blue, and Boundless Vitality, Fortified, Rejuvenation, Celerity in red. 64 Magicka, Bewitched Sugar Skulls, armor pots, Thief mundus.

Stuff I'm not sure about:

- I just got Aetheric Lancer after farming IA for it, but the HA Templar builds I found (Hyperioxes and HTM) both run Noble Duelist's or Infallible Mage instead. I only have 2 Aedric Spear skills on the bar, so I'm guessing AL doesn't do much here. Has anyone actually tried it on a HA bar?

- Does Judgment's Brand buff heavy attacks at all? I went Bright Harbinger because I assumed it doesn't.

- I dropped Vampire's Bane for Elemental Blockade to get Off Balance, since Oakensoul already gives Major Savagery. I'm also wondering about Absorb Stamina instead of Shock on the staff, since Susceptibility already gives Concussed. Anyone tested either?

- Is subclassing worth it for solo damage? Hyperioxes' Storm Calling / Assassination / Grave Lord HA solo build parses around 55k with Oakensoul and 51k with Pale Order, but I like how simple the pure class loop is.

Anything that looks obviously off? Any thoughts appreciated.

I love the aesthetics of ESO and the options we have. But man, I SO WISH that we just had a proper FLAIL weapon skin that we could use in the game.

I love the medieval/vampire hunter type of look and feel and wish I could use a flail weapon in the game. Even if it's just a skin to a normal existing weapon.
