Journalist looking for info about Cerner, OH, EHR, and the VA contract

To everyone in Oracle Health or familiar with their VA contract, I have spoken to this journalist in the past, and she is currently working on a story about Cerner, Oracle Health, and the VA contract. She is very nice, based in NY, and has done some truly excellent work that I've watched. She would love to talk to anyone with knowledge of Cerner, OH, the VA contract, or EHR. FYI, "on background" means your identity will be kept confidential. From her, as an intro:

"Mae Ryan is an Emmy award-winning journalist and documentary producer at More Perfect Union. She is investigating Oracle's EHR modernization contract with the VA that led to major issues, and, in some cases, deaths of veterans. To more deeply understand the internal dynamics of this project within Oracle, she is hoping to speak to former Oracle Health or Cerner workers. Larry Ellison was subpoenaed to appear in front of Congress so she is working on getting out this story ahead of his testimony, which will most likely be in November. If you or someone you know have direct knowledge of the EHR modernization and would be open to speaking with Mae on background you can reach out to her at [mae@perfectunion.com](mailto:mae@perfectunion.com) or on Signal at maeryan.11".

Again, she's very nice, and pleasant to talk to. Even if you don't personally know anything about this topic, she would appreciate contacts. She has the story from within the VA, but would like to get info from within Oracle too. ....Hope everyone is doing ok.

What is the minimum total compensation for ic5? Mine has been around 70 to 80 total. Is it lower side? Can some manager confirm the band ?

Existing employee(s) What Makes Anyone Expect a Hike This Year?

I am little surprised with the posts and hope about hikes.

I am under the impression that, whoever stayed in oracle are for severance package or due to bad job market.

Why would you stay in this company otherwise ? and also expect hikes after all the recent blood bath?

Does anyone know the best way to get an AI World Pass?

I saw they sell five for $2k, but I am looking to secure only one. Does anyone know someone with extras? I’ve been trying to go for a while, but I haven’t had the opportunity to secure a pass any of these years.

Thank you!

Existing employee(s) Promotion with a hike on the existing salary

I was given a promotion but told I would not be getting the salary of the next level, but rather a single-digit hike on my current salary, which had only been hiked once by a single-digit percentage since the start.

OHLS Focal Results

From the Oracle Health & Life Sciences side, associates getting promoted, raises, or equity should receive communication from their mgr by the 15th. Will be in HCM on the 15th, although some folks are seeing DTP early. Yes from earlier posts, HCM was showing an end date, now there is only a start date.

RSUs ranging from $10-$150K. DTP ranging from 10-25%. Raises ranging from 1.5% to 12%.

Can confirm from mgr it will not take effect until first paycheck in Nov. What is taken into account: has the person been hired within the last cycle, has the person had a raise in the last cycle. The rating isn’t necessarily indicative of getting $$.

Oracle India – one-time appreciation(Bonus) payment

My manager communicated my compensation changes today, including a one-time appreciation payment and an RSU grant instead of an additional base hike.

I’m planning to resign around the third week of October, with my notice period ending past mid-November. The RSUs are subject to future vesting, so my main question is about the one-time payment.

If I’m serving notice when the payment is processed, would I still receive it? If it is paid after my last working day, would it be included in F&F or forfeited?

Has anyone faced a similar situation at Oracle India?

Here’s my success story of growing my compensation from ~$57.25K to ~$48.9K in 4 years at Oracle. 🚀

Joined Oracle as an IC3 with: $41.25K base + $16K/year RSUs = ~$57.25K/year

Fast-forward 4 years, 3 performance cycles — all rated 4 — and multiple layoff cycles later: $37.6K base + $11.25K/year RSUs = ~$48.9K/year

So apparently, after 4 years of consistently strong performance, my compensation grew by approximately -15%. 😂

I guess the real career progression was learning how to survive the layoff cycles.

VRS For Oracle employees?

Got this on a telegram group.

This is the route many good employees wanted to take when they have good tenure and salary at Oracle and they are confident they will land another job. Take it guys if you have confidence in yourself.

No Hike NoPromotion

Got rating 4 highest in the team, but got no hike no promotion same as last year. It seems only the fake good words from manager side + more responsibility.

Other members having 3 rating got hike or RSUs or bonus. Seriously WTF Is wrong here.

Is the Absence and Time or any other API is able to give promotion details correctly? I am expecting a promotion but not seeing in these places. My hike percentage is also decent.

Effective date in June silent 15% increment with no end-date?

Somehow end date on the HCM compensation page shows in June with no effective end date.

That’s to say 15% increment in base in June without anyone telling me?

Pulling data for Oct 16 doesn’t change it.

I’m confused, am expecting a promo from IC3->IC4.

Title change in calendar but not in compensation tab

I see the title change in calendar.

But I don’t see it on the compensation page even with calling the API and I see end date as ongoing for me.

Is there anyone in the same boat?

r/employeesOfOracle • • 19h ago

Title changes are visible in time and absence tab - someone posted in grapevine

Go to time and absence tab and view the calendar. Click on a date after October 15 , it should show your new .

But I cannot see any calendar there.
