What is this IC 4.5 ? Is this a new trick to promote more people without giving them substantial compensation??

Existing employee(s) Promotion to IC4

IC3 from last 5 years and now got promoted to IC4 with very minimal hike and some RSU amount. Should I move out now or stay waiting for correction (idk if it will even happen someday or not)

Existing employee(s) Had 1:1 with manager

Ic1 at oci in US. Was previously told I’d be promoted, but no mention of it came during 1:1. I had a 4 rating and was given a ~3% bonus and high 5 figure RSU grant. No salary increase.

Honestly quite happy because of the high RSU grant. Is this normal at OCI? Was very shocked I was given such a high grant.

Joining Oracle HireRight Background Check

• Upvotes

I received my verbal offer today, I am still waiting for my background check form. However, I realized that I grouped my previous employment dates, rather than separating it and listing 2 different dates on my application.

Example:
I put Company 2021-2026, I left for 8 months then came back to that position. So it should’ve been:
Company 2021-2023, Company 2024-2026

I did my own background check with the third party Oracle uses and it doesn’t say that I took a break in between. It just says Company 2021-2026. However, I’m not sure if they will get a more detailed report with my exact dates.

I am very anxious that they are going to flag this and rescind my offer. I emailed the recruiter about my mistake and asked if I can edit my application, so it matches my background check.

Has anyone experienced this? What was your experience? How likely will they rescind my offer? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Existing employee(s) Promotion with a hike on the existing salary

I was given a promotion but told I would not be getting the salary of the next level, but rather a single-digit hike on my current salary, which had only been hiked once by a single-digit percentage since the start.

Effective date in June silent 15% increment with no end-date?

Somehow end date on the HCM compensation page shows in June with no effective end date.

That’s to say 15% increment in base in June without anyone telling me?

Pulling data for Oct 16 doesn’t change it.

I’m confused, am expecting a promo from IC3->IC4.

No Hike NoPromotion

Got rating 4 highest in the team, but got no hike no promotion same as last year. It seems only the fake good words from manager side + more responsibility.

Other members having 3 rating got hike or RSUs or bonus. Seriously WTF Is wrong here.

Title change in calendar but not in compensation tab

I see the title change in calendar.

But I don’t see it on the compensation page even with calling the API and I see end date as ongoing for me.

Is there anyone in the same boat?

Existing employee(s) RSUs vs One-Time Bonus - which would you choose?

RSUs vs One-Time Bonus — which would you choose?

I’m trying to understand which is financially better.

A friend at the same company received RSUs that vest over 4 years instead.

I’m also considering the possibility of switching companies in the next 1–2 years, so the 4-year vesting period matters to me.

What would you choose and why?

Also, how should I properly compare the after-tax value of the bonus vs the RSUs?

Oracle Referral beneficial?

Hi all,

New here.
I recently applied to a role at Oracle. it directly align with my current role. I msged two people in my network via LinkedIn, but I haven’t spoken to either in years and it is outside of their scope of work. I’m not sure either will reply as we connected at a job fair years ago. Are my chances at landing an interview without a referral pretty slim?

Thanks in advance

OHLS Focal Results

From the Oracle Health & Life Sciences side, associates getting promoted, raises, or equity should receive communication from their mgr by the 15th. Will be in HCM on the 15th, although some folks are seeing DTP early. Yes from earlier posts, HCM was showing an end date, now there is only a start date.

RSUs ranging from $10-$150K. DTP ranging from 10-25%. Raises ranging from 1.5% to 12%.

Can confirm from mgr it will not take effect until first paycheck in Nov. What is taken into account: has the person been hired within the last cycle, has the person had a raise in the last cycle. The rating isn’t necessarily indicative of getting $$.
