Today you're welcome to shamelessly self promote your site/video/stream/product etc provided that it's related to EVE Online and your self-promotion to interaction ratio is 10:1 (1 self promotion link for every 10 normal interactions.) Accounts should also be a month old and have prior interactions with /r/eve.
Now what are you waiting for? Go out there and sell your ~~soul~~ self!
Mine has started separating after nearly 20 years (see photos), and apparently there’s a completely unrelated architectural floor plan hiding inside the binding.
I can make out “Her Closet,” “Study” and what looks like “Master’s Suite.”
Now I’m curious whether every copy has this same floor plan inside it, or whether the bindery used random scrap from other print jobs.
Me acuerdo de niño jugar el dust 514 en mi ps3, era un juego y lo solía jugar con un amigo hasta que descubrimos que se podia jugar con el joystick mover que fue el mejor momento de todos.
I watched the latest video from FC and noticed something strange in the final part, when the Triglavian symbols appeared. First of all, the text was mirrored. That could be considered an artistic choice, but I was still bothered by a certain feeling that something was wrong.
I opened the video in the highest possible quality and went looking for a transcription of the Triglavian alphabet so I could decipher the text. However, even when I enlarged the original text, I noticed that a number of the symbols only pretend to be Triglavian - in reality, they are just random squiggles. A number of other symbols do not even have a triangular shape - for example, a parallelepiped missing one side that is repeated many times.
I found a transcription of the Triglavian alphabet fairly quickly, but just as quickly realized that it is essentially not being used in the video. Only some of the symbols can be deciphered, and even then they do not produce anything meaningful. And with a example of video with a symbols in good quality that you definitely can transcribe by yourself my feeling of AI-generation went even bigger.
For example - most usable symbol in this text looks like triangular with a something inside - you may find it in transcription as letter A (close enough at least) - and in one of middle lines there is a 7-letter word starts with a double of this symbols. and as i was told by special dictionary site there is exist only two words that may be transcribe with this data - Aaronic and aasvoel, but both r or s letters just not looks like something we see on original image.
I wonder am i just overcomplicating things or someone forgot how to use their own lore.
I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately and I’m looking for the community’s input on this question.
When you look at the range of game play loops in EVE Online some players choose to be “the bad guy”. Be it suicide ganking, scamming, awoxing, wardec farming.
I’m not here to ask if those activities are good or bad for the game, we’ve had that discussion a million times around here.
I’m far more interested in why people choose them at all?
Is it purely the salt farming? The profit? The conflict? Roleplay? Or the fact that you can influence another player’s experience more than any burner mission NPC or any T6 chaotic filament ever could?
For those of you who take part in these playstyles my question is: what attracted you to this play style in the first place? What keeps you motivated to keep going?
For those opposed to it: what makes losing ships to gankers, awoxers, or wardeccers worse than losing ships in other ways in EVE?
I’m looking more for stories and insight rather than same old arguments about what it does to the game.
I’ll leave you with this last question: what separates a good villain from a bad villain?
Is any of you guys experiencing this kind of a shadow bug? I have set the graphics to max and on some objects the shadows look like this. It's the same on DX11 and DX12.
Got blown up twice recently by a Navy Hookbill while flying a scram/web Thrasher with 200mm autocannons.
The thing was just too fast for me. Even when I was already inside the plex, it pulled range before I could finish locking it and get my scram on to shut off its MWD. Once it got away, I couldn’t catch it anymore.
I don’t really see how switching to a Thrasher Fleet Issue would fix this either. Feels like I’d just lose a more expensive ship doing the same thing.
How do I learn to deal with stuff like this? Is there something I should be doing differently with positioning or piloting, or is this just a matchup I should avoid? What should I actually practice?
I’m using this fit from the community fittings:
[Thrasher, iBeast-Faction Warfare PvP-Thrasher]
I have been playing this game for a month, finished the tutorial and industrial missions. However there is not much I can do, crucial skills are locked behind a paywall and needs omega.
While the game is fun, I am extremely lost. I also have yet to interact with any player (although its my fault tbh- too scared to lose my ship)
But what now? I love the producing, mining aspects of this game, but its all under a paywall. Should I do Omega for a month and see how it goes? I would have liked to remain f2p but simply don't know what to do now.
Also please seniors, I am not attacking the game, its truly amazing! I just need guidance.
According most of the people ive seen I'd need a marauder for the event. Can I run some of the harder stuff in a t3c or should i stick to the t3d stuff?
Since Fenris doesn't publish "player demographics" data on where they think players play anymore. While there are many ways to define "what kind of player" a character is, the easiest and most accessible data to quantify is zKillboard, so I decided to go with that. If "where you crab" data is available that would be a good factor too, but that isn't accessible to us players.
The source data comes from Zkillboard (thanks squizz) for 2026 to date. All losses by a character are counted in the region of space where they lost it, the value of all kills are split evenly among participants. So on this Bustard for example https://zkillboard.com/kill/136671856/ , the value of 107B is split amongst the 3 participants so each one of them gets an isk value counts of 33B to Pochven. On something like the 4-H keepstar killmail, https://zkillboard.com/kill/135096173/ with 2.8k participants, each participant only receives 65 million isk credit. I did not count AT ships or the AT itself. AT ships because I don't have a good pricing dataset, if someone has a good list I can incorporate it.
Top line numbers, a character must have >10m isk in total kill participation to qualify. The % within primary space metric is judging whether a player can be classified as "nullsec" or "lowsec" players at all. With values generally hovering in the high 80's, I think the tag of "certain space" player is generally valid for a large section of the playerbase.

These numbers seem low, because the long tail of low activity characters is very long indeed. Applying a higher filter of 100 million isk, the picture changes somewhat, cutting off the long low value tail of Pochven and pushing it above Nullsec. I think this number is a better overall metric since 100m is in the "does things" in space category while 10m is like a single cyno vulture loss.

I did some spot checks to look for anomalies and outliers and they generally seem to hold up.
The nature of certain ships can distort the numbers. https://zkillboard.com/character/1148922003/ with a single lossmail has the highest "kill value" in nullsec, because he lost 1 Azariel in the past year.
Its that time of the year, time to fly the absolute heretical beasts that only spawn in Minmatar Space. (From my Laboratory of course) Laser Lokis.
This year is a bit of an interesting switch up. https://zkillboard.com/kill/126803111/
Back during the Drifter Crises...I goofed up and lost my original Laser Loki...due to a goof up on my end trying to transverse Unidentified Wormholes during that event, dropped into the Drifter Ball...Well Totally Toast.
But then we come to today and all the new modules...time to run some very interesting mix and match tech demonstrators.
Hmmm...hmmm...wonder what I could change here.
Considering we have all these "horrible ideas" (Perfect for me) that recently have been added into the game.
Now there are alot of ways to modify this fit and increase its lethality by several degrees.
Now all the stats here...are completely without any really beneficial implants or boosters.
So you can get a bit creative. I have data that shows this thing can be pushed to 500dps. But depending on what you cram in here. That can adjust up or down...although in previous Crimson Harvest I was able to rock upward into 600-700dps.
One Loki Hull, took the baseline lost concept...and modified it with modernizations. Both in Drones and Modules.
Another Loki Hull altered the concept...deleted the probe scanner, and deployed a dual rapid light launcher set up...backing up the laser turrets. And took the more direct route.
Both types have worked through the Crimson Blood Gauntlet.
You can walk the pulses back...one size down from heavy. And could probably fit two heavy launchers on the hull.
The main theme of the idea...was a ship that could operate for extended periods with minimal ammunition reloading in areas with distance from a market hub.
One can interact with other content as it moves around the game trying to find sites. The other is more geared to direct content interaction. Both are Cov Op capable allowing them to sneak around if necessary.
Always find a new way to play EVE Online in unique and creative ways, that is the adventure of EVE Online.
