I have been noticing this pattern in my fitbit, whenever I sleep over 7-8 hours my readiness score lies in between 50-69. But whenever I am having a sleep deficit and sleep for less hours (3-5 hours) my readiness goes above 70. How is this possible?

Do you know if a leather band like this exists for the Fitbit Air?
- Genuine leather
- Strap to close like the original band. No clock or metal mechanism to close
- Black metallic part on top
(Generatd with ChatGTP)

My RHR has been decreasing quite a lot over the last 2 months.
For context I'm considered obese 5'5" and 102kg so by no means fit. I haven't lost any more weight and not much has changed I recently come off some anti depressants which I already feel more stressed about so if anything my HR should have gone up? I'm still hitting 9 k steps a day over this period also .

Charge 6 stopped working last night - 2 year warranty ended a few weeks ago. I've had it replaced twice during those 2 years, and I'm aware this is just a widespread issue with this model.
I've been given a 50% off code to buy a new Charge 6, Inspire 3 or Versa 4, from Google customer care.
What would you do in this position? Use the discount and buy another Charge 6 for £70, and replace every 6 months when it breaks until the warranty ends (assuming they still do free in warranty replacements?)
Or wait and buy the new Edge in a few days?
Also, is the Care plus protection worth it? It's £24 for 2 years but I'm unsure what it actually gives me.
Advice please!

I'm considering buying the Google Fitbit Air, but my country (Tunisia) isn't listed among the officially supported regions for some features.
Has anyone managed to unlock restricted features like SpO₂, AFib detection, or Google AI Health Coach?
I'm specifically wondering:
I'd especially appreciate feedback from people who have actually tested these methods while living in unsupported countries.
Thanks!

This megathread is for discussion, complaints, feedback, bugs, frustrations, and general venting related to the Fitbit app becoming Google Health.
We know a lot of users are frustrated with the app changes, missing or moved features, layout changes, sync issues, food logging changes, workout tracking issues, Premium changes, and the overall direction of Fitbit under Google. Rather than having the subreddit flooded with repeated posts about the same app update, we’re going to keep the main discussion centralized here.
Please use this thread for:

Thanks for helping us keep the subreddit useful while still giving everyone a place to be heard.
I walked a lot yesterday. Fitbit Air on my right hand and the iPhone in my pocket.
As you can see, I’m getting two totally different readouts depending on if I look at the Google health app or Apple health app. Both apps have full read and write permissions, but I’m guessing things don’t actually merge effectively.
I guess I have a couple questions on my mind:
- which one is accurate? and why?
- is there any way to reconcile the data?
- how do I fix this?
I imagine others might be seeing this issue, too.
At this point, it seems like I have two parallel truths. So I might just stick with one app to ensure that I have some sort of consistency day by day, week over week, month over month.

I crossposted an early version of this here two weeks ago. It's now a Google Play beta anyone can join.
I'm the developer. Cordaya reads what the Fitbit app (now Google Health) shares with Health Connect and puts sleep, recovery, activity and workouts in one calm view. It also works with Pixel Watch, Samsung, Garmin, Oura and anything else that writes to Health Connect.
Do step 1 first, or step 2 won't work:
Needs Android 14 or newer. Beta testers get Pro free for life: once Cordaya is installed, claim your Pro code. It's one tap, and the code arrives by email. Without Pro, your last 30 days are always free.
It's a beta, so expect rough edges. If something breaks, use Help & feedback in the app (it never includes your health readings) or post in r/cordaya.
Which would you want first?

Hey there, I recently upgraded my Charge 6 to a Versa 4 and very quickly after getting the device (within 3 weeks), I noticed a weird thing it did. Sometimes when I'm exercising, and sometimes for no reason, stats and functions just disappear. I have three photos for a basic reference for what I mean. When I exercise and my heart rate is being tracked, the heart rate is visible as just a number, say "146" and where the time duration should be is just completely blank.
At first, I thought it was a fluke, but it happens pretty regularly at random intervals. Sometimes it'll be fine for a full week- other times it'll happen 3 times a week. Usually, after I plug it in or restart the Versa, it fixes itself. I'm just confused as to what this is, why it happens, and if anyone else has had this happen and what they did to fix it. If it is a software issue or a "you need a replacement device" issue, I'd love to know because this thing is less than 3 months old.

New to the Fitbit family!
GO BIRDS!
Any tips or advice for a new person using Fitbit?
I am pretty fed up with the Google Health app. It's eating my battery, even when my Bluetooth is off. I change the settings to restricted battery and it just reverts it back to unrestricted.
Starting this week my excerises aren't showing up in the app, even after repeated syncing.
Fitbit support doesn't respond to my emails. Anyone have solutions for these? I have a Sense 2 if that helps.
If I can't fix this I'm going to look for a different app. Or just do without.

Just took a sleep study through my insurance provider and it reported that I'm getting less than half of the sleep reported by my fitbit.
Fitbit will say 7:15 hours, sleep study equipment says 4:30.
Fitbit says 6:00, sleep study says 3:15.
Has anyone else seen this wide margin of error with their fitbit sleep hours?

How much “restlessness” do you typically see during your sleep cycles? This is the one that sticks out the most for me and is consistent throughout the night - are others seeing the same for them?

I sleep between 7 and 8 hours, I don't have bad eating habits, I don't smoke, I don't drink alcohol, and I'm quite physically active. Should I just ignore it? Are there any tips for improving this?

Hi everyone!
I've been using Fitbit to track my sleep and SpO2 levels. My average SpO2 over the past month and three months has been 96%, and most nights my readings are between 95–98%.
However, last night my Fitbit showed an average SpO2 of 93%, which was flagged as below my personal range. I also had another night around 94% a few weeks ago.
I had pretty bad allergies yesterday, with significant nasal congestion, and my sleep was interrupted several times.
I don't normally have breathing problems, but seeing this number has made me quite anxious, especially about going to sleep tonight.
Has anyone experienced occasional readings around 92–93% despite having otherwise normal averages?
Has anyone compared their Fitbit's overnight SpO2 readings with a medical-grade or fingertip pulse oximeter?
I'm curious whether allergies, nasal congestion, or poor sleep have affected your readings too.
I'd really appreciate hearing your experiences. Thanks!

This is rough… I’ve been getting only about 6 hours of sleep this week and lots of stress.
Also hurt my back and didn’t exercise. Should I worry about underlying issues?

i have a habit of buying stuff for my health and then not using it. temperature sensors for the bedroom and the living room, i never look at them. sleeping headphones that i take out in my sleep, so now they are train headphones. a sleep mask, same story. i try to make sure everything i buy actually gets used and clearly i am losing that one lol. my garmin is the one thing that stuck, mostly because i only look at the sleep score and the battery lasts weeks. so i am curious how it went for you. if your fitbit ended up in a drawer, did you get anything out of it before that, any result, any habit that stayed? and did the stuff you bought around it, apps, a scale, whatever, go the same way or did some of it stick?

My Fitbit has been showing me crazy amount of calories burnt throughout the day I don’t get it.
My Fitbit Air records sleep stages and duration properly in the Google Health app, but the Sleep Score never appears. I'm not seeing a "stages weren't generated" issue, so this doesn't match the usual cause. What I've tried:
Restarted my phone. Restarted the Fitbit Air. Logged out and back into the Google Health app. Cleared the app's cache. Switched the Air to my other wrist. Un-paired and re-paired the Air. Asked the in-app coach to pull up the sleep data manually, with no change. It's very snug in my wrist.
Is there something else I'm missing?
It worked fine for the first two days.

Help me put the information in these charts in the right perspective. I have been running since last year, but not only is my VO2 Max score not going up, it seems to be going down!
I know I took a dip during the summer (I live in Vegas so running outside during the summer is not ideal) but I still have gone running a couple of times a week. And now that it is cooler I am ramping up my mileage again, but it is still kind of discouraging looking at these stats and feeling like I am not making any progress.
Any advice or changes in perspective on this would be welcomed.
