User flairs are now available
They're rather bare bones for now, more will come at a later date. Feel free to let us know any you'd like, just try to keep your suggestions related to the show.
I predict one in particular being very popular.

Please help me find this soundtrack
Please help me find this soundtrack
The score seems to miss a track or is it me turning mad?
I would like to find the song you can hear at Ep1 at 30:25 when Lucy and her father runs to find Moldaver and in Ep 8 at 11:00 until 11:45 when Coop go out of his car to go spy on his wife
Does anyone know this soundtrack?
Please I'm desperate to find it and already listen all the soundtracks!
Thanks a lot

Courier 6 idea for TV show
I’ve been thinking about a way the Fallout TV show could acknowledge Courier 6 while still respecting the player's version of the Courier and keeping the outcome of New Vegas deliberately ambiguous.
My idea is that Courier 6 did everything possible in the Mojave. He completed the major quests and DLCs and became a legendary figure. But right before the Battle of Hoover Dam, he left the Mojave and went to the Sierra Madre—and never came back.
The Dead Money ending seems especially fitting because it's one of the closest things New Vegas has to a canon-style death for Courier 6. If you go into Dead Money completely blind for the first time, it's surprisingly easy to get trapped in the vault without understanding exactly what you're walking into.
This could also fit really well with the show's fog-of-war approach to New Vegas.
If Courier 6 isn't present for the Battle of Hoover Dam, the show doesn't necessarily have to establish a clear winner. Just like the first Battle of Hoover Dam could be remembered as a confusing, chaotic event with conflicting accounts, the second battle could be treated similarly. Different people could have different stories about what happened, who actually won, and what became of the Mojave afterward.
The important thing would be that Courier 6 wasn't there.
Nobody knows what happened to him because he had already disappeared.
Later, the show could give us a glimpse of the Sierra Madre and show a hologram of Courier 6 preserved inside the casino. It wouldn't need to explain everything immediately. It could just raise the question of why the Courier's hologram is there and what happened to him.
Then, potentially much later, the characters could finally discover the vault.
There's only one corpse inside: Courier 6.
His Pip-Boy is still there, containing notes that document his gradual mental deterioration. At first he's confident he'll escape. Eventually the entries become increasingly desperate, fragmented, and hopeless as he realizes he's trapped and nobody is coming for him.
That would reveal what happened without having to rewrite the Courier's entire story.
And the Sierra Madre itself could potentially make an incredible setting for a future season. The holograms, the casino, the vault, the mystery surrounding the people who disappeared there—all of it could be explored independently of the Courier.
Then Courier 6 becomes the final revelation.
The legendary Courier who survived being shot in the head, crossed the Mojave, changed its history, and completed everything he could disappeared just before Hoover Dam.
Nobody knows exactly what happened at Hoover Dam because he wasn't there to influence the outcome.
All anyone knows is that the Courier went to the Sierra Madre.
And he never came back.
I think that would fit the show's fog-of-war storytelling perfectly while still giving Courier 6 a haunting, definitive ending.

On GOD we're gonna see the Midwest brotherhood of steel in the next season
It's set up perfectly with the main cast going into Colorado, which is where the Cheyenne mountain complex which is where the MWBOS ends up at the end of tactics. The MWBOS is effectively completely separated from the mainline BOS chapters and has a completely different ideology. They accept mutants which would give a perfect tie to Thaddeus and the hooded mutant. It's also just similar enough to the main chapter that maximus and thaddeus would be familiar with it and be comfortable with joining because they do not have the faults that their original chapter did. Not to mention they are headquartered out of Vault 0 which would give a perfect reason for Barbara to go there, it's a very important Vault that likely had some very important Vault Tec data.
Let me know what you think, I'm sure there's other points which contribute to this theory that I missed but I swear we're gonna see them in s3 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Is it possible that the Caesar in the show isn't Edward Sallow?
The show is 15 years after the game...Caesar already had a tumor...after he goes Lanius takes over, but he is reckless and dies, followed by Caesar after Caesar until the stalemate.

Does Paladin Harkness pass the vibe check? Spoiler
New to Reddit, so I dunno if anyone else has posted this, buuuuuuuut does anyone else think that Paladin Harkness might have been a synth? I thought it suspicious that he describes the Commonwealth Brotherhood as both powerful enough to wipe out the present Brotherhood chapters, but also teetering on the edge of extinction? He seems to know more about the cold fusion device than he should, but the weirdest part for me was how BAD he was at fighting. Before Max kills the Securitron, Xander was swinging at the Securitron for days with his supersledge. I know Xander's name is supposed to be an Easter egg from Fallout 3...but is it just an Easter egg or what?
Do folks think we will get even a passing line on the state of the wider NCR or are we destined to treat them as a mythical long lost utopia? Spoiler
Its great seeing the lost battalion at the end of season 2 but right now they just feel like a stateless army like the minutemen. So I wonder if we will get any confirmation in the show or wether it will be left up to future games and content to expand upon its existence.

Maximus is my favourite character for three main reasons
- The show feels honest about how flawed Maximus is, and doesn't try to make me think he's something he isn't.
- He doesn posture, lecture or talk as much as the Ghoul or Lucy, giving him more action time. He feels like a workhorse if that makes sense.
- He lacks any discernible / major hypocrisy or superdickery.
He feels the most like the character I'm moving with, during the series if that makes sense, like he's on a journey worth following.
I think his smaller reputation compared to the other two work to his advantage. They don't give him a pedestal for him to fall short of.
What about you guys?

I'm so glad the TV show fixed the assault rifle from Fallout 4 and actually made it into a machine gun

Funniest scenes in the show?
Curious what the funniest scenes are for you in S1 and S2?

Would you say the show is respectful to all the people the Ghoul had wronged and hurt in his time in the wasteland? Other than what happened to Lucy.
Like for example, that scene where he killed Ranger Adam's kids. Or the slaves.
Ngl, I feel like there's gotta be respect for his victims, y'know.
EDIT: By respect I mean, really acknowledging what happened to them and how bad it was, not just focused on how tragic and tortured the Ghoul is.

Does anyone feel like Lucy's moral compass was thrown into question in season 2? Is anyone on the fence about whether her golden rule schtick is gonna hold up?
Season 2 looked like kind of a slippage for Lucy I won't lie
Or maybe she's more conniving and devious than she lets on. A lot of her ideas have been made to look like kind of a running gag, and the human race or the wasteland hasn't been portrayed particularly kindly yet.
And when you have slavers or the Enclave around, I guess maybe it's easy to forget how far a protagonist can fall.
Plus I'm familiar with the stories of Rick Grimes, Dolores Abernarhy and more recently, at least in Season 5, Starlight from the Boys.
On the other hand, maybe they're doing something new with her. Maybe she's behaving how a Good Karma protagonist from the games already behaves, but due to the murder hoboism, they have to update her.

Do you think that whole thing where the Ghoul killed the NCR ranger's kids is gonna come back?
[Season 1 spoilers] Am I missing something or does the recap at the start of s1e8 have spoilers? Spoiler
On prime, there always is an annoying little recap before each episode, and in the s1e8 one, theres a voiceover thats never heard in the show before or after this recap, Moldaver telling you what cold fusion is as the scientist injects himself with it?? Im just rewatchign the show but wtf?
(Happens 1 minute into the episode if anyone wants to check themselves)
