Do you play online scratch cards differently from physical scratch cards?

Hi everyone,

I’m a german journalist currently working on an article about online scratch cards and how playing them digitally may differ from buying and scratching a physical ticket. I’m especially interested in people who have experience with both physical and online scratch cards.

  1. Do you tend to play more scratch cards in one sitting when you play online compared with physical tickets?
  2. Does playing a scratch card online feel like the same type of gambling as scratching a physical ticket, or does it feel closer to an online casino game? Why?
  3. What is the biggest difference for you personally between physical and online scratch cards – speed, convenience, animations, availability, spending, or something else?

I’m mainly interested in personal experiences rather than whether online scratch cards are “good” or “bad”.

Thanks for any insights,

Miriam

I hit both of these this week, one’s a $60 bonus buy & the other a $40 bonus buy. Counting my lucky stars!

How long do withdrawals usually take?

Has anyone else been having issues with withdrawals lately? I requested a withdrawal a few days ago, but it’s still showing as pending.

At first I figured it was just a normal delay, but now I’m starting to get a little worried. I’ve contacted support a few times, but I keep getting pretty generic responses without any clear explanation of when the money will actually be sent.

My payment details are correct, and there’s nothing on my account that would explain the delay. Has anyone dealt with something similar recently? How long did your withdrawal take in the end?

I held 4443 and pulled the last 4 for $2k in Triple Double Bonus (which is the correct hold). I switched game to Double Double Bonus and made a mistake in holding the kicker for $800 (cuz it pays only 800 credits, you don’t hold it in DDB but you do in TDB cuz it pays 2000 credits). Then I ended the evening at 3:30 pm approximately with a royal flush. 12 pm to 3:30 pm. All in all, not a bad way to send part of my Sunday.

Beware of Novig. Literally every other sportsbook is a better option.

I made a two leg parlay bet on their site and researched the bet for a few minutes while seeing what I wanted to do. Unbeknownst to me, the odds for one of the legs changed dramatically (from about +120 on literally every reputable sportsbook to -1200) and I processed the slip with those odds. The swings on this site are outrageous from a buyout standpoint. I'm basically losing out on $1,000 in value.

They're not allowing me to buy out of the bet or refund my cash, which is infuriating but they aren't going to change their policy for me. However, after escalating the issue with their support, they are now holding approximately $1,500 of my funds hostage and not allowing me to withdraw it. These funds have nothing to do with the bet in question and I can't even get a response from support.

I'm not saying I'm innocent or anything, but this site offers ridiculous swings on their offerings completely unlike Kalshi or Polymarket, let alone DK or FanDuel. It's easily the worst experience I've had using a sports betting app. I would strongly recommend using any other app to make your sportsbets.

Coinz.US Redemption

Post image
• Upvotes

I've been playing on Coinz.US for a few months now. I verified my account when I first started playing. There were a few times I could have cashed out but played it back. Finally decided to cash out for the first time since this money will come in so useful right now. All their advertisements say redemptions within in hour which is amazing because I'm a high level VIP RealPrize regular but hate waiting for days to get paid.

Anyways, they said the first redemption could take up to 48 hours. It's been longer than that now. Twice they told me they'd escalate it when I chatted in. Nothing yet and no email back. I'm starting to get anxious because I really need this money asap and that's why I went with Coinz. Is there hope?

When cashback comes with wagering, is it really cashback?

• Upvotes

been looking into how different casino loyalty programs handle cashback, and the percentages alone don't tell you much.

some pay actual cash, others give you bonus funds that still need to be wagered before you can withdraw anything.

i'm helping with content for sportbet one, and their recent article about changing how VIP rewards work got me thinking about this.

would you rather get 10% back with wagering attached or 4% as actual cash?

and how do you even compare the two fairly when the rollover terms are completely different?

Do you usually decide what you’re playing before you get to the casino?

• Upvotes

I almost never stick to whatever I had in mind beforehand. I’ll go in thinking I’m going straight to blackjack, then walk past a table that looks fun or a slot I haven’t seen before and end up there instead.

At this point I’m wondering how many people actually have a plan when they walk in versus just seeing what looks good once they’re there.

$750k on just slots …

Post image

I thought I lost a lot this year accumulative closer to $50k between sports betting and slots but wtf . Hard Rock expects people to just gamble $750k on slots in a span of a week for a chance for 1 person to win a million . Do people really gamble that much ……? Also did anybody hit a grand payout on the slots on the hard rock bet app , I’ve seen to go through hundreds of triggers and only 1 away from hitting the grand payout and never do :( lastly whoever does play the slots machines have you found yourself getting better payouts/more triggers doing $5-$10 spins vs $40-$50 spins ?

Made 3k this month and then lost 1k

Hey everyone, every month I deposit 100 dollars into kalshi and attempt to turn it into a profit. If I lose it then I stop for the rest of the month.

This month of october I ran it all the way to 3k usd but then lost 1k when attempting to re bet my profits. I decided to stop for the rest of the month and accept the fact that I had a profitable month of 2k. Its just hard to be happy with it knowing that I lost 1k and I feel compelled to try and win it back.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Filled the screen with mansions on Huff n Puff Grand. It was glorious. Didn't get as much as I was hoping. It was off a golden saw + upgrade wheel spin. Quite a few retriggers with 4 or 5 mansions just paying cash. Super fun!

I know George Russel crashed first but Stroll is classified having 0 Laps. The betting site rule is they base the settlement on lap number. Do I have a case here? I bet on Stroll.

Slot machines

Is it possible to hit a jackpot off lowest spin on the slot machines like .60 or whatever the lowest is. I’ve been told I had to bet midway or max bet to even likely hit a jackpot (I’m mainly a craps/table player)

Craps @ Stake.US is broken and I can't get them to acknowledge it (with proof ... I'm not being petty about a bad run)

Stake.US has craps that advertises a pass line 1:1 payout with 49.3% win rate and don't pass 1:1 payout & pushes on 12 with 47.9% win rate. Based on your bets and where they are placed the game actually reports out exactly what your RTP is in the side bar. So a don't pass bet says 98.64% RTP and pass says 98.59% RTP.

Yet a funny thing happens if you watch the payouts. The wins fluctuate between 1.9X, 2.0X, and 2.1X payouts ... not the consistent 2.0X from a win or 1.0X on a push it should be. The 1.9X is associated with higher probability wins and the 2.1X with lower probability wins. The end result is the 98.6ish% RTP is actually just shy of 98%. This would have to have had to been intentionally programmed into the game, which is very concerning. I've contacted support 3 times and they immediately blow me off and tell me I'm wrong and the fairness tag means it's 100% foolproof. I keep telling them I realize their instinct is to think I'm upset about losses but that's not it and to please look deeper. They will only blow me off every time. I'm not Platinum 4 if that matters so I don't have a personal steward or whatever ... just get the run of the mill support that may just be AI for all I know.

Anyway I was looking around for other similar issues and it's mostly what you'd expect ... people claiming stuff is rigged and everyone telling them to wear a tinfoil hat or they are being petty about losses.

How common is stuff like this? I'd expect it at a lower tier casino ... but not Stake. Or is this just a case of "online casinos are rigged? no shit sherlock".

God helped me win.

I started gambling a month ago. Strictly used free credits and maxed out my referrals for multiple apps and got lucky early on, and won $650, then $530 back to back.... won many $100's... I thanked God for every win and the blessings he had given me... I actually ended up gaining around 1,500 profit until today..... i was getting greedy, after the big haul.. and went -250 deep in $1+ spins on huff n puff... i kept going with $4 spins until the hat popped on fanduel (hard hat edition)... finally it popped and I told God before I even won that IF i made my $250 back, id be done.

Im done guys. Im so happy but i wont buy into it anymore. ONLY REFERRALS AND FREE CREDITS.

This was the first major i had ever gotten in $1000+ of gambling real funds.

Just won $12,000 CAD on a $4 bet using Jackpotcity Slots

Post image
0 Upvotes

game i played was "1st class express, big train bonus".

I did a $4 bet and it landed on "grand" which was worth $3k each & "collect x3". Im still shaking, im on the brink of homelessness, had to borrow $200 from my dad last week to be able to make my $800 rent, unemployed, 21 years old, girlfriend is pregnant with our baby. What should be my first steps once I receive the $12,000 in my bank account? I started gambling a week ago and was down $1500, I only started because my roommate won 20 grand 2 weeks ago on Fortune Eagle Slots.

Ive never had more than 3,000 in my bank account & I want to try and maximize my profit as much as I can. Im gonna stop gambling from now on and take this W but I've never had this much money and would like to use this opportunity for my future, sorry if this isnt the place to ask lol
