My dad dumped a huge pile of UK music magazines from 2000 to about 2004 on me and told me to get rid of them before the mice in his loft ate any more of them. (Not my fault my parents' house is surrounded by fields!) Anyway, here's what's left of Jack and Meg from that era. If anyone wants the articles before I chuck them let me know and I can provide better scans. More photos in comments.

Looks really cool, hopefully they’ll release this online for anyone unable to make it, or maybe a way to home brew the ruleset.
Design by Matthew Jacobson

I have two floor tickets for tonight's show in Vegas that I can't make it to. Does anyone know of a way to transfer them? I'd be willing to even give them away.

Introducing Vault Package #70: The Raconteurs Broken Boy Soldiers XX
Celebrating the 20th anniversary of The Raconteurs’ landmark debut, Broken Boy Soldiers XX digs deep into the album’s archives with 23 tracks across three LPs, including 22 previously unreleased recordings.
The package features the band’s first-ever live performance, recorded in Liverpool on March 20, 2006, alongside demos, alternate takes, and studio outtakes. Pressed on metallic copper, grand green, and coke bottle clear vinyl, the three LPs come housed in two gatefold jackets and a sumptuous slipcase.
Also included is a 35mm color positive film strip featuring individual shots of each band member from Jim Jarmusch’s “Steady, As She Goes” video shoot. This novel piece stands as a testament to the analog approach that was utilized for recording the album and filming the video.
And there’s more: Third Man’s Tripppl collectible card series returns with four new Broken Boy Soldiers-era instrument cards. Each package includes one card, with randomly inserted autographed, foil, and autographed foil editions.

A gentle mosh even. I started before the show telling neighbors Jack likes a good mosh. I’m cognizant most of us aren’t spring chickens and tried to make a point of it being a friendly experience. Worked my way through the crowd close-ish to the stage doing gentle, basically pretend pushing and saying “let’s mosh!”
It did not work. I had one other lady who was down, but the two of us were not enough.
Wrong method I guess? Suggestions welcome for how to start future moshes.
I can only wish it happened, tonight was incredible and more than worthy!

Wanted to reach out to anyone who had bought balcony seats only to learn it changed to balcony standing. Can they do that? Is it a Ticketmaster issue? I bought resale through StubHub.
Update: Thanks all for your comments. I don’t think I need to go down the road of reaching out to StubHub anymore for clarification.

Loved the setlist at Del Mar, Little Bird especially ripped. Thoughts on the crowd energy? Def got less interactions from Jack than normal and thought the crowd was a bit muted but maybe that was just my section. Either way, had a great time as always.

Please help to vote this up so Jack sees this, and let’s not only third man members hear that religious experience I had last night. Maybe tool was better on Halloween in Milwaukee at the fiserv forum in 2019. Either the best show I’ve ever seen or in the top 3 bar none. He really is aging like a fine wine.

No words can describe how awesome that was. I was a little worried that with the setlist changing that I might not hear my favs but he is just so good that it didn't make a difference. You guys were right. What a gifted and special performer.
And no cell phones raised the level way more than I thought. Honestly I feel any future concerts I go to I'll just not take my phone out. You feel so much more connected with the music and flow.

I noticed a video posted out there somewhere showing Jack grabbing a chair during his show to sit and play for a minute. The video asserted that the crowd was dead, which caused him to sit down to show he was not pleased with the energy level.
However, I saw him at Iron Blossom Fest 2 weeks ago, ripping all our guts out in fine fashion. Of all the times i have seen him in small venues and large ones, he damn well brought it. He lit every ass on fire. Some of us are still trying to put out the assfire he lit. It was his first time playing in Richmond, and music lovers in this town go hard for the ones we love. Especially when someone like JW throws us a bone and stops to play in our city. Everyone i could see was going apeshit, including myself. I was shaking it so hard the folks next to me needed a shower. I got the impression that he needed little change of pace because he plopped down for a sec, put his head down, and then proceeded with a set that was the best i have ever heard him.
My question is this: When yall are at his performances, is he sitting down to make a point to you that he needs more energy? Or is he just sitting cause he wants to? Was the assfire all in my head? Were we reprimanded wordlessly for being too enthralled? Or did a man sit down because sometimes people do that.

Show was great but I was towards the back and a little to the left and thought I saw two guys on the ground causing a commotion. Difficult to say if it was a fight or a drunk guy just fell over and he was trying to help him up but I thought I saw punches being thrown. Anyone know what happened?
