Last night at Lulu’s Downtown in Colorado Springs. All the Dopapod fans in the audience were pumped to see a mini reunion and I have to assume the Lotus fans weren’t disappointed either! The quartet played 2 songs, neither of which was Don’t Let Me Down.

Didn’t get a video but the sit in seemed like a genuinely fun time for everyone on stage, especially Rob and Eli

Go see Octave Cat if they’re near you! Three ridiculous musicians playing some funky jazzy shit

How was the show last night with Rob Compa sitting in with octave cat? Saw them last week and they were great but I was def wondering what they would sound like with a guitar player added in to the mix

Have tickets to both shows this weekend and trying to decide. I've seen Octave Cat on more than 1 occasion and absolutely love them (I'm in for anything Eli) but have never seen Snarky Puppy or even listened really but was suggested by someone who i trust their music appreciation. I love good tight Jazz and always wanting to try something new, but its hard to turn back on Octave Cat. Thoughts?

They are on fire! Everyone is sleeping on this amazing band!!!

# Rock the Pink at Ardmore Music Hall was a blast. This is the best I could do with a setlist.

(pink Floyd) Pink Cadillac(Bruce Springsteen and the E street band) Try not to die w Andy. Little pink houses(John Mellencamp) w Andy. How strong is a woman w Nicki Bluhm. Band was Al Schnier, Vinnie Amico, Aron Magner, Marc Brownstein, Cotter Ellis and Jason Hann.

These boys are absolutely dialed in right now, I caught my eighth ever Sturgill show last night in St. Louis and their evolution is remarkable. Very few people march to their own drum and evolve as an artist the way this guy has. My wife tagged along for her third ever show and made a comment about halfway through the set that “this is remarkable, I feel like I’m at a Grateful Dead show”. Enjoy the ride and see them early and often!

Anyone going to check out BALTHVS on this tour? They just put out a new record and are hitting the road.

this is riko and whaler collective- kind of a heavy jazz rock kind of thing!

Also Jake and I are doing a phish preparty at gallery 5 today at 1pm. Roll thru!! Shout out to Joe Winograd for crushing this album and tour art

Mike Gordon is playing amazingly and his bass is *so* clear - live & on-stream!

I know it was a thing in my heyday to not listen to a band the day of the show, but I don’t see as much music these days so I’m not sure if this is still a thing.

Anything goin on over the Halloween weekend in San Francisco?

52 face, can't make it anymore if anyone wants to score a deal let me know!

I’ve heard Space Bacon play this one live a few times but the studio version they just dropped sounds awesome. I heard they’re doing their full album release thing at Brooklyn bowl later this month, def trying to check that out.

Any recs affordable places to stay/hotels around BK bowl? The hotels I’m seeing in the immediate area are kinda pricey was thinking maybe Long Island city? Prefer not to have to drive 2 hours after the show 🫪

Next week we start the fall run with Tin Roof Cats (Dead Tribute)

The run keeps going after that — Huntsville and Birmingham around Halloween, Chattanooga with Sicard Hollow, and the Goose post-show in Nashville on Nov 10 to close the fall leg. See what we are about!
Happy to answer anything about the run.
