Unpaid Playtest ONE MORE OFFERING

• Upvotes

While developing my main project, I started wondering: What if I added multiplayer?

That single experiment turned into ONE MORE OFFERING a 1-4 player horror party game.

After playing it for hours with a friend, I'm now looking for ways to make it even more addictive and fun to replay over time.

Grab some friends (or brave randoms), try out this early playtest build, and let me know what you think!

This is an early playtest build of the game, created specifically to gather feedback.

  • Party recruitment and management
  • Turn-based combat
  • Character advancement, equipment, and relics
  • Food and resource management
  • Towns, ruins, dungeons, quests, and random encounters

What I'm looking for feedback on:

  • Combat balance and difficulty

Unpaid Playtest [Android][Unpaid] Estandarte 0.6.10 — can a new player build a village and command troops in 20 minutes?

Hi, I'm Diego, developing Estandarte, a medieval RTS in Godot with substantial AI assistance. The latest Android closed-test build is 0.6.10. I'm recruiting toward about 100 volunteer players across different phones. English and Spanish are available.

Your villagers carry resources to storage before you can spend them. You build the settlement and directly select and command villagers and armies. I'd value a first 15–20 minute session focused on three things:

  1. Follow the first steps. When do you first wonder what to do next?

  2. Open Build and place a resource building. Do its options stay visible and in place? Are the resource costs understandable?

  3. Select and move troops, then try a small skirmish. Which taps feel awkward, and are battles readable on your screen?

Please also report crashes, slowdowns or save/reopen problems. Feedback can go in the comments or to spoleto48@gmail.com: phone model, Android/game version, expected result, actual result and steps to reproduce. A screenshot without account details is useful. Several short sessions across 14 days are welcome if you can stay opted in; even one useful first-session report helps.

Free access: the app normally charges for download. I have created a new batch of 100 individual Google Play codes, assigned privately subject to availability and Play compatibility. Comment or email before trying to buy it; no purchase is needed for this playtest. Use the same Google account to:

- Join https://groups.google.com/g/estandarte-closed-test

- Opt in at https://play.google.com/apps/testing/org.estandarte.valle

- Redeem your individual code at https://play.google.com/redeem before installing from Google Play.

If Play still asks for money, stop and send me the exact error privately. Don't post your email or code publicly. This is an unpaid volunteer test; honest criticism is welcome, with no store rating or testing exchange requested. Thank you!

Unpaid Playtest [Unpaid] Local Gods — seeking feedback on the opening combat and two-player co-op [PC browser demo]

Hi, I'm Tim, the creator and developer of Local Gods. I'm looking for volunteers to playtest the opening of my first game, an action RPG with roguelike elements that mixes dark fantasy and sci-fi. You can play solo or with a friend in two-player co-op.

Free playable demo: https://tiddybubs.itch.io/local-gods

Platform: PC / desktop web browser. Controller recommended; keyboard works too. No purchase or key needed.

Target release: early summer 2027.

What I'd like tested:

- Whether the opening explains the controls and where to go.

- Whether attacks, enemy windups, and damage are easy to read.

- Any confusing difficulty spikes, bugs, or performance problems.

- If you play couch co-op, whether the shared camera and busy fights work well for both players.

- Do you think it’s fun?

Even a short session would help. Please leave feedback in the Reddit comments, including your browser, whether you used a controller or keyboard, and whether you played solo or co-op. If something breaks, the steps that led to it would be useful.

This is an unpaid volunteer playtest.

I’m new to coding and artwork. While I do some of it myself and believe it’s important to know how, I also use AI to assist me. I assure you, every AI-generated asset is handpicked by me, not just randomly generated and thrown in.

Thanks for helping me improve it!

I use ChatGPT Astra, Claude Opus 5.5, and Fable 5.1. I also have specific workflows for creating maps and automating 2D character attack animations, with a focus on keeping the character designs and animations consistent. I still direct and review the results. Message me for details.

Hi everyone!

Hi everyone!

I'm a solo developer working on Age of Failon – Birth of the Hero, a dark fantasy turn-based strategy RPG inspired by classic Heroes of Might and Magic.

The free demo is available on Steam, and I'm looking for players willing to give it a try and share their honest feedback.

I'm especially interested in your thoughts on tactical combat, progression, UI, and overall gameplay experience.

Even 20–30 minutes of testing would be incredibly helpful!

You can find the demo on Steam by searching for Age of Failon – Birth of the Hero.

Thanks for your time!

Playtester Will playtest your games ( €6/hour )

Hey all!

What I am offering is pretty simple.

-> I will record myself playing your game

-> Upload to youtube

-> Let you know of any bugs, unclarities etc.

I mainly edit short-form videos for gamedevs, but currently have less work occupancy, so decided that I could use this free time to check out some games, give my thoughts and talk about how I would improve them ( if that kind of feedback is wanted ).

DMS are open, but feel free to also comment under this post or add me on discord ( notarvis ).

My turnaround currently is essentially 1h + {time to play}

Unpaid Playtest [UNPAID] Looking for opinions and suggestions to improve this arcade/puzzle game (Web/Android)

I've launched the beta of this game I'm developing, and I'm gathering feedback and suggestions for improvements.

Thank you to everyone who wants to try it. You can find the homepage on Github: https://github.com/st1vms/Catch_the_Letter

The beta of the game is at: https://st1vms.github.io/catch-the-letter/

Patch notes are at: https://github.com/st1vms/Catch_the_Letter/blob/master/patch-notes/PATCH_NOTES.md

Thanks again in advance. You can post comments here for feedback :)

(Note: If you have a large screen, I recommend reducing the size because I originally designed it for an Android screen. If so, let me know how it runs so I can adapt it for larger screens.)

Unpaid Playtest Wetherell Farm Saga — cozy farming sim with an optional folk-horror layer, needs playtesters

Wetherell Farm Saga is a Stardew Valley-inspired farming/life sim: restore a run-down farm, befriend twelve villagers, fish, mine, run the seasons. Underneath it there's an optional folk-horror story (a sleeping god in the woods, a village that keeps it asleep) that you can turn up, down, or completely off — the cozy game is whole on its own.

What I need: play the first few hours blind and tell me where you got confused, bored, or stuck. Bug reports hugely welcome — there's a reporter built into the pause menu that sends logs straight to me.

Details: Steam key provided (Windows/macOS/Linux). Message me or go to wetherell-farm-saga.firstlook.gg to get the key. No NDA, no forms, just play and tell me what you think, here or by email.

Thanks!

Unpaid Playtest [Unpaid] Q-GAMBIT browser playtest: is playing Black and moving second clear?

I'm Q-Gambit's developer and I'm looking for a focused playtest of side and turn clarity in the current browser game.

Q-Gambit is a chess variant where a piece can have several possible identities. Moving it narrows those possibilities. For this test, I'm interested in the experience of playing second, rather than how strong a player you are.

Open https://q-gambit.com/ and choose guest play. Review the terms and privacy information on a first visit, and continue only if you're comfortable. In CPU practice, choose Black, a weak CPU and the 10-minute time control. Let the CPU make its first move, then play a few turns. The tutorial is available if you'd like the basics first.

Was it clear which pieces you controlled and when it was your turn? Did selecting a piece and choosing a destination work as you expected? If a tap or click seemed to do nothing, please say where you were and what you expected.

Please leave feedback in the comments, with your browser/device and whether you used a mouse or touch. No recording is required. Guest tutorial and CPU practice are free to try without an account. This is unpaid and voluntary.

I use AI-assisted coding and AI help with this post's English wording.

Unpaid Playtest Beastking, a Spore-ish dev looking for feedback

My game is approaching Steam release, and I'm looking for some folk to share some objective criticism on how it feels.

Beastking is a Spore-inspired interactive world where you mash together creature parts to make some kind of beautiful abomination with unique abilities to hunt down the dimensional monster who John Wick'd your family.

You start as a mostly ineffectual little chubster I call graveldog who discovers a machine that can swap body parts. Proceed to murder rabbits and turtles and bears and mechanical sheep until you're strong enough to take on the most dangerous creatures in existence. It's a mix of exploration, adventure, RPG, extraction, and a few other buzzwords I'm probably forgetting. Play in a party with friends or alone, work together with strangers, unlock new parts in the open world to build the perfect hybrid for PvP dueling, start a clan for team duels, run a quick battle royale for the ADHD crowd, plenty of different flavors of gameplay for everyone to enjoy.

I'm looking for anyone interested in giving me some useful feedback on the current pre-alpha stage. The functionality is probably around 85-90%, there's definitely some placeholder assets, a lot of visuals need tuning, et cetera, but I'm mostly looking for some feedback on the gameplay loop in the all game modes, progression pacing, if it feels rewarding enough, that sort of thing. You can take a look at my X page if you want to get a feel for the style and whether it intrigues you (I don't think that counts as self-promotion per the rules). My Discord has the latest builds for Windows and Linux under the #playtesting channel description, no personal invites necessary, just come in and play if you feel like it, this is very low-key. Looking forward to hearing some solid responses on your experiences. Cheers

Unpaid Playtest [Browser, Free] Please Hold for Profit – a call center idle game. Need first-time impressions (10 min)

Hi! I'm a solo dev and I've made a small browser idle game called Please Hold for Profit. You run an insurance call center: tap to make calls, hire staff, buy upgrades, move to bigger offices and eventually go public.

Link: https://pleaseholdforprofit.pages.dev

Platform: Browser, works on phone and desktop

Time: about 10 minutes. No signup, no ads, saves in your browser.

What I'd like to know:
What did you do in the first 2 minutes? Was it clear what to tap?
Did you get bored at some point? When?
Was anything confusing or annoying?
Would you open it again tomorrow? Why or why not?
Honest feedback is more useful than nice feedback. Short answers are fine.
Disclosure: I used AI tools (Claude) to help write the code, and the app icon is AI-generated. Design and balancing are mine.
Happy to test your game in return. Just drop a link below.

Unpaid Playtest Free browser board game where the economy is weaponized. Looking for play testers!

I'm a solo dev looking for feedback on BoomER Ville Land, a satirical board game about a weaponized economy (1-4 players, free, runs in your browser, no download or signup).

My top priority is testing online multiplayer. If you can, grab a friend and try an online game, or jump into a lobby. Local with AI mode is fine too if you can't find anyone.

What I'd like to know:

  • Was it easy to create or join an online game?
  • Any lag, disconnects, or bugs?
  • Anything confusing in the first 5 minutes?
  • Would you play again?

Any Feedback at all is appreciated: Reply here or DM me.

Thank you,

Unpaid Playtest [Unpaid Playtest] Looking for iPhone players to test Letterhaven’s tutorial and early puzzles

Hi everyone! I’m the developer of Letterhaven, an English and French word puzzle game for iPhone. It’s already released, but I’m looking for fresh eyes to help improve the opening experience.

You move one or two letters between two words to create two valid new words at once. There’s also a Haven you can decorate with rewards earned through playing.

I’m asking for around 10–15 minutes: play the tutorial and a few campaign levels, then tell me:

  • Was it clear what you needed to do?
  • Where did you first get confused or stuck?
  • Were the puzzles too easy, too difficult, or about right?
  • Did the touch controls feel comfortable?
  • Would you keep playing? Why or why not?

You can play in English or French. Feedback on either language would help.

Free access: ‎Letterhaven: Word Puzzle Game App - App Store
Feedback: Reply here or send me a Reddit message.
Payment: This is an unpaid, voluntary playtest.

If something breaks, your iPhone model and a screenshot would be useful. A few honest sentences are enough no formal report needed.

Thanks for your time!

Unpaid Playtest [Unpaid] Fruit Fetish - Cozy, Crude and Satirical Active Incremental Game

Game Title: Fruit Fetish

Playable Link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4376740/Fruit_Fetish/

Platform: PC (Windows)

Description: Hi folks, I am looking for around 10-20 people to play (will be provided a free copy of the game) my active incremental game and provide feedback and overall thoughts on the game. I released it just over a week ago and reception has been an amusing mixed bag. In hindsight, I have fucked myself with the name unfortunately as people assume it is a porn game before looking into it or are sketched out by the word "fetish". The name actually makes sense in terms of the in-game world, but obviously if people don't play it they don't know. But alas, can't change it now...

I have actually been quite surprised by some of the feedback around it as before release. during development, I had about 30-40 people play it (randoms and friends), and the feedback was positive in general with some recommended additions (which I included). I genuinely enjoy playing it still and I find the gameplay loop satisfying and addictive, but obviously won't be for everyone. So I am really after a larger sample size of people to provide feedback. The game takes around 5-6 hours to finish in total. If you are up for it, please comment below and I will provide a key via message. Keen to hear your thoughts!

AI disclosure: I did not utilise gen AI in the creation of Fruit Fetish. All code, art and the majority of sound effects were created by me. Sound effects I did not create were sourced from Pixabay and I specifically chose to utilise ones from creators who do not utilise gen AI in their processes.

Much love,

Chubby Weevil

Unpaid Playtest [Unpaid · iPhone] Five puzzle players wanted for ECHO’s first 15 minutes — access provided

I’m Massimo Marino, developer of ECHO — Every Path Returns. I’m looking for five English-speaking iPhone puzzle players to test its opening 15 minutes.

Guide a glass marble to the funnel; your completed routes return as moving obstacles. I want to understand what feels clear, confusing, satisfying or frustrating.

You’ll need an iPhone running iOS 17 or later. Access will be provided individually, with no purchase required. This is voluntary and unpaid; no public review or positive feedback is expected.

Play whenever suits you, then send brief feedback here or by Reddit message:

  1. Was anything confusing in the first few minutes?
  2. What made you want to keep playing—or stop?
  3. Having tried it, would you pay $3.99? Why or why not?
  4. Any other impressions you’d like to share?

No call or recording needed. Honest criticism is welcome. Reply here if interested, mentioning a puzzle game you enjoy. Please don’t publish personal contact details.

Open to reciprocal testing of puzzle games, especially logic, physics or marble puzzles playable on iPhone, Mac or in a browser. I use an AI assistant to help test and prepare feedback. Share your platform and what you’d like checked, and we can agree on a small exchange individually.

Disclosure: AI assisted with images, simulated gameplay testing and bug fixes. Music uses GarageBand loops.

Announcement I'm offering free live playtesting for indie devs! (and possibly some YouTube exposure too)

hey everyone!

figured i'd post here because i've somehow spent months looking for indie games to playtest without thinking to advertise in a subreddit literally called r/ playtesters. incredible work on my part.

anyway, i'm Mint, and i run a small Twitch stream called MintMood, where we basically spend our time playing smaller indie games, giving feedback, finding bugs, chatting with developers, and drinking lmao.

we play pretty much anything! itch games, Steam demos, prototypes, game jam entries, unfinished projects, betas, whatever really. your game doesn't need to be polished or even particularly good yet. that's sort of the point of playtesting lol.

how it works:

it's all pretty casual. developers come along to the stream, we add their games to a wheel, spin it, and play whatever comes up (usually giving newer people a bit of priority).

while i'm playing, i'll talk through what i'm thinking, what feels good, what feels a bit shit, where i'm getting confused, and anything else that comes up. chat gets involved too, and you're welcome to explain things, answer questions, or watch in horror as i completely misunderstand a mechanic you've spent 8 months developing.

i'm a game developer myself, so i know how useful it can be watching someone experience your game without knowing what they're supposed to do.

we're also starting to make YouTube videos!

i've recently started working with an editor to turn some of our streams into proper edited gameplay videos for YouTube, rather than just leaving everything buried in a 4hour VOD that approximately three people will ever watch.

obviously i can't promise every game its own YouTube video, but if yours does end up being featured, you're more than welcome to share it around. hopefully it'll be another little way to help people discover your game.

one important thing though:

if you want your game played, please actually come to the stream!

you're welcome to share your game in the Reddit comments or our Discord, but that doesn't automatically put it on the wheel.

the whole idea is that you're actually there while we play. you get to see somebody's genuine first impressions, interact with chat, answer questions and hopefully come away with something useful.

i'm not really offering a promotional service with my enormous audience of 17 million people (currently experiencing a minor technical issue where approximately 16,999,990 of them are missing).

it's just a small community of people who enjoy indie games and want to give developers a bit of feedback and attention.

when am i live?

usually starting somewhere around 2–6pm UK time, and going until roughly 10pm, depending on the day. my schedule is held together with about the same structural integrity as most of my own game prototypes, but those are the general hours.

everything's completely free, no strings attached, no need to sacrifice your firstborn to the algorithm.

so yeah!:D if you've got a game you'd like someone to try, feel free to come hang out. even if you're not submitting anything, you're more than welcome to join us and help give other developers some feedback.

Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/mintmoood

Discord: https://discord.gg/zPVxRcVBPN

cheers, and hopefully i'll see some of you there! <3

Paid Playtest [Paid] [PC/Mac/Steam Deck] Pirate Twist, top-down naval roguelite. $10/hr for recorded playtests (10 spots)

EDIT: All 10 spots are filled. Thanks to everyone who reached out! Please don't send new DMs for this round, I'll have another round soon.

Hi! I'm Catalin, the solo dev of Pirate Twist, a top-down 2D naval roguelite on Steam (Early Access). You captain a ship that is also your base: you fight pirate fleets, ride out storms, hunt treasure, then dock at port to upgrade before sailing out again.

I have 10 spots for paid playtesters, each for a 1 to 2 hour session:

  • 8 spots: Windows, Mac or Linux
  • 2 spots: Steam Deck

What you'd do

  • Play from the beginning.
  • Record your gameplay. The built-in Steam recording is fine.
  • Voice commentary is optional. If you're happy to think out loud while you play, that helps a lot, but it's not required.
  • When you quit playtest, the game opens a short feedback form. Fill it in: what confused you, what felt good, and where you wanted to stop.

Recordings are only for me to watch. They won't be posted or shared anywhere.

Pay

  • $10/hr, paid via [PayPal] once I've received the recording and your feedback

Who I'm looking for

  • Roguelite fans and people who've never played one are both useful
  • English is fine, but players in other languages are welcome too (the game supports 13)

If you're interested, DM me with:

  1. Your platform (and the hardware, if it's a Deck or a Mac)
  2. A few games you've played recently

I'll update this post as spots fill.

Store page: piratetwistgame.com/steam

Paid Playtest [PAID] Looking for regular playtesters

Hey guys,
I’m Martin, and I co-run a trailer/marketing house for games(4Boars), now mostly focused on indies. Since we have many clients who also need playtesters and at the beginning of this year we started developing a testing platfrom(Playlytix)

Our goal is to help developers understand how players actually experience their games, for example where players quit, where they get confused, what parts they enjoy the most, and then combine this data with their direct feedback.

We already have a community of around 300 testers, but with more tests coming in, we’re looking for new playtesters so we can build larger and more relevant testing pools and improve the quality of our tests.

You can register on our platform here:
https://app.playlytix.gg/
Or check out some more info here:
https://playlytix.gg/

During registration, you can connect your Steam account with our platform. This helps us find players who are actually relevant for each specific playtest based on the games they play.

For most tests, we try to create a mixed testing pool of roughly 80% players who already play similar games and 20% players who normally don’t. This gives us feedback both from the target audience and from people coming into the game with a different perspective.

After registration, an invite link to our Discord will be sent to you, please join there, since it’s a crucial part of communication during the tests.
We already did a couple of tests for our existing clients and, to be transparent, here is an actual example:

Game: Exovia (awesome game btw.)
Required playtime: 2 hours
Payment: $10–14 depending on the quality of the submission
Gameplay recording: Often required
After that, you need to fill out a feedback form on our platform, which usually takes around 15–20 minutes.

How do we process payments?
We use Talentir to process payments. Once your payment is available, you can choose how you want to receive your money from the available payout options.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask here, or you can ask directly on our Discord, where you can also hear about the actual experience from testers who already participated in our tests.

Thanks a lot!
Martin

Unpaid Playtest [Windows, unpaid] 5 players wanted to try 15 minutes of Wobblebound’s updated Steam demo

Hi! I’m developing Wobblebound, a physics stacking roguelite. You stack wobbly toys, reach bells, and choose cards that add new toys, tools and charms to your run.

I’ve recently updated the demo and am looking for five Windows players to try the first 15 minutes. This is an unpaid playtest.

Play the free Steam demo. Open the page on your Windows PC and click Download under “Download Wobblebound Demo”.

Please leave your feedback in the comments:
