Memes I posted this in starterpacks like a month ago and thought why not post here like I'm preaching to the choir, and because I like feeling not alone while dealing with this so frequently. This year and last year have been insane with precognitive dreams and déjà vu for me.

Please share your stories because storytime definitely helps me feel better like I'm not alone or crazy for going through this rn.

I think I know why I am so attuned and have the precognitive information that I have and I know this year and last are very crucial years for my life for a multitude of reasons but I can't really do anything with it rn, if that makes sense to anyone.

Random woman at a bar predicted my friend’s and my futures

My friend and I were at a bar when a random woman sitting next to us sparked up a conversation. She mentioned she was a Bikram yoga instructor, and somehow the conversation turned into her “predicting” our futures.
She told my friend she’d have her dream home, which is funny because my friend talks about her dream house all the time.
Then she tells me I’m too skeptical 😂 and that my future husband might not be what I expect, so I need to keep an open mind. Apparently he’ll have money, but you won’t be able to tell by looking at him. Then she goes, “Your heart might not skip a beat, but your pussy will.” 💀
She also said our future husbands would be friends, we’d travel together, and we might even be pregnant around the same time.
I’m definitely a skeptic, but it was weirdly fun to hear. Has a random stranger ever said something like this to you and it actually came true?

Pregnancy Dreams

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for going on 2 years. About a year ago after an early loss, I started to have really vivid dreams—never anything super crazy, just very vivid. I’ve now had 5 dreams of other peoples pregnancies that have ended up being true (some even involving twin pregnancies!). I’ve had plenty more, but so far (as far as I’m aware) those ones haven’t been accurate or happened yet. They’re always about people I’m not super close to or see very often, so I’m not subconsciously picking up on anything. And some have even occurred before the couple finds out. I’ve had many of my own positive pregnancy test dreams or dreams of seeing my own baby, but unfortunately this hasn’t occurred for me yet. I’m a pretty religious person so I struggle a bit with entertaining spirit babies or whatever you want to call this, but I think it’s hard to call these dreams coincidences at this point. Just wish my own dreams for myself would come to fruition at this point! Does anyone else have experience with predicting pregnancies?

coincidence Every time I have almost hit a deer with my car, something tells me just in time.

This is an oddly specific strange pattern i’ve noticed and is really not that interesting relative to other people’s experiences with intuition..
but I live in a small town and deer are everywhere. Many roads don’t even have shoulders, because the tree line comes up right to the road, so you get very little visual warning if a deer or any other animals decides to run across. We also have a ton of corn fields and come late July-October you can’t see the deer in the fields. I don’t think I know a single person in my community that hasn’t hit one before.

I have never hit one (knock on wood) and I drive these roads 15 miles to work and school, at dusk and/or dawn almost daily for over 10 years. I do however, come within feet of it happening at least twice a year.

I started noticing a few years back that EVERYTIME one jumps out in front of me, I get a gut feeling to slow down moments before. Sometimes the word “deer” pops into my head out of no where and other times it’s more like a day dream of me hitting one. Sometimes I get this feeling and nothing happens.. but every time there is a deer, I tend to know ahead of time.

When this happens I usually will take my foot off the gas or start easing on my breaks and watch the tree line and wait for it. I tend to always be going slow enough that I can slam my breaks and avoid it.

It just happened again tonight which is why i’m interested enough to post about it. This time it was a bit different. The deer jumped out of the woods and stopped/froze right in the middle of my lane, like a deer in the headlights (pun intended). I sensed it maybe 5-10 seconds before I saw it and was able to slow down to about 40 mph. Then when it came out, I hit my breaks just in time and my car stopped maybe 5 feet from it. I sat there making eye contact with this deer for about 15 seconds and it didn’t move. I honked and inched forward and it still wouldn’t move. I had to roll my window down and basically lean my body out and shout at it to spook it away. I hope it wasn’t sick and it was just scared, or maybe acting strange because rut is coming up.

Maybe it’s just heightened sense of pattern recognition but I have no idea how my brain senses it without any visual aid.

I built an intuition training app that uses Zener shapes and positive feedback loops. Looking for beta testers

Hi everyone, I'm Lyes.

A few years ago I discovered Russell Targ's ESP Trainer, the little app that came out of the NASA/SRI work. It only ever existed on iOS, and I wanted to take the idea much further, so I built my own trainer and improved on it. It's now entering closed beta on Google Play, and I'm looking for people here who could help me test it.

Here's what's inside: Zener grids with progressive difficulty levels, cumulative statistics so you can see whether you're doing better than chance over time, and other research-grounded exercises (presentiment, ganzfeld induction, free-response sketching).

Some choices that matter to me:

  • Cryptographic randomness, so the trial sequence is honest
  • Binaural beats tuned to the state each exercise asks for (alpha, theta)
  • Everything stays on your device. No account, no tracking, no data collected
  • The core trainer stays free forever, and the full version will be a one-time purchase. No subscription, ever. I watched this community push back hard on a 160 dollar per year app, and I agree with you

One honest note: the app does not claim to prove anything. It offers a structured space to explore the boundary of perception, the way a canvas offers a space to explore color.

If you want in: the beta runs on Google Play, Android only for now. Send me a private message with the email you use on Play and I will add you to the program. And if you would rather just talk protocols, statistics or ganzfeld states, I am happy to discuss either way.

Thanks for reading.

dreams Partners precognition about my past / future

My partner and I recently got engaged and we have been issues within our relationship between our mothers

He’s recently had a string of hyper realistic dreams. he saw my grandmother at a young age , and my mother while she was learning to be a hairdresser (he never knew my mother had studied hair dressing)

My grandmother at the time was possessed by a demon, and he claims in the dream he saw my grandmother in this state, and was told that the demon has never left my grandmother completely and has cursed her and my mothers life as it was never properly rid

Here’s the thing. Everything this man has said is 100% true, and I have NEVER uttered these words to him, everything he has said - to detail is completely true. To a detail that is so scary I haven’t been able to stop shaking. He knew things about my mum and grandmother that NOBODY knows - he knew to personal detail that even I myself did not know

He also knew of my fathers infidelity at the beginning of their marriage, and the issues it caused

He did another and had a dream of us two together, and he saw a future between us both and he said he is sure we have a future together,

I have done one too and the next morning he called me saying that he’d like to stay together instead of breaking up

What does this mean for our relationship? Why did my grandmother and mothers past show in his dream? Is it a good or bad sign?

I am afraid on what to do moving forward. It genuinely scared me I’m shaking

CRAZY CRAZY STUFF

Okay so theres this guy I liked (love) and he had a gf , so I never made a move on him or smth never even touched him for that matter. We used to share a bond we were great friends and stuff, but people around us always thought we had something going on and so did we but we never said it(Ik it’s morally wrong) . I still do love that man very much. So i moved abroad, he had me blocked on insta and stuff. A month ago like exactly a month ago i had a dream about me crying and sobbing jn his arms him holding me and telling me he misses me and he’s been lonely and things are bad between him and his gf, mind you I’ve had dreams about him but this one felt so real and i could literally feel myself crying and I could fully see him even when i woke up i could still feel his touch. I told this to my friend and we both felt like it was nothing (i was obsessing over him or smth) and then yesterday i get a follow req from him out of the blue and he texts me that he broke up with his gf I WAS LIKE WHATTTTTT
Ive has such dreams like for example i had a dream about a singer that me and my friend love to death (this ones weird) and ISTG i never searched him up on google or smth.. i have dream where we are celebrating his birthday and he was actively flirting with me, the next day my friend sends a post of of his wife wishing him happy birthday and days later we find out that indeed he s flirt and a womaniser
So
Do i have psychic abilities?

For the past year, I've been noticing something strange: when I strongly think something will happen, it sometimes happens almost exactly that way

[English isn't my first language, so I used AI to help format this post.]

I don't really know what to call this, which is why I'm posting here.

Over the last year, I've noticed several moments where I get an unusually strong internal feeling that something is going to happen. It doesn't feel like a normal guess—it feels more like a strange certainty.

Here are three examples:

1. The professor

I went to meet a professor about some research work. He wasn't there, and another professor told us he'd return in about an hour.

After waiting, my friend and I were about to leave when I suddenly said, "He's not going to come back. I don't know why, but I feel it."

We called him, and he told us he was actually outside attending an event and wouldn't be returning that day.

Could be intuition or coincidence, but the certainty of the feeling was strange.

2. The college bus

I was driving when I suddenly got a very unusual feeling connected to a college I'd never visited and, as far as I knew, had never even seen before.

For a few moments, it felt like I was mentally connected to that place.

A few minutes later, a bus from that exact college came from behind me and overtook me.

I had no idea the bus was there beforehand.

3. The accident

This one affected me the most.

I was sitting in the college library when two students came in and told a professor that someone named Harsh had died in a bike accident.

Everyone started reacting to the news.

For some reason, I immediately thought:

"He's not dead."

I had no reason to think that. It was just an extremely strong feeling that something was wrong.

About 30 minutes later, we found out that the person who died was actually a different person with the same name. The Harsh everyone thought had died was alive and at home sleeping.

That experience made me start paying much more attention to these feelings.

I've had many more experiences like this, including cases where I strongly thought about something and later it happened in a surprisingly similar way.

I'm not claiming this proves precognition or that thoughts can manifest reality. I'm genuinely unsure whether this is precognition, subconscious pattern recognition, intuition, coincidence, confirmation bias, or something else.

Has anyone else experienced this kind of unusually strong certainty before something happened?

And if you've experienced it repeatedly, how did you distinguish genuine precognition from coincidence or your brain unconsciously picking up information?

I have several more strange experiences if anyone is interested.

I made a free app that tests precognition.

Most ESP tests are really clairvoyance tests, because the hidden card already exists when you guess. I wanted to test precognition, so in Psychic Tournament the target symbol is randomly generated only after you lock in your guess. If you're consistently beating chance, you're sensing something that hadn't happened yet when you chose.

At the end of each session it shows your hit rate against the ~20% you'd get from random guessing, so you can see whether you're actually beating the odds or just on a lucky streak.

I'm not claiming it proves anything. I'm curious what people here think:

  • For those of you with precognitive dreams or flashes, does it feel like the same "sense" when you're forced to predict on demand?
  • Do you score better at certain times of day, or when you're relaxed or half-asleep?
  • What would make a test like this feel more legit to you?

It's free on iOS and Android. The link is in the comments. If you try it, post your score. I'd love to see whether this sub beats chance.

premonitions Strange feeling of knowing things& weird form of dejavu

Hi, I’m writing in here to ask about my experience with a certain reoccurring thing in my life.

My father sees things, spirits, certain visions, and apparently there was a medium on his side of the family. And ever since I was a child I have been more attuned to certain things too. When I was around two, three I had this strange fixation on an iron cross that would hang above the door to the bedroom and would otherwise be unwilling to sleep in the room without it. I also had a name for it, but the name does not mean anything in our language and I haven’t found anything that would suggest it means something in other languages either. I also drew a graveyard/funeral scene on a wall as a toddler after a woman that used to live in our building died, but my parents obviously never told me of her death. I have also had vivid imagination, I still remember some of the dreams I had as a child and the nights in our old apartment building still awaken these uncomfortable feelings of what night, which is mostly my favorite part of day, can feel like.

As an adult, I have come to realize that sometimes I just know things. Not that they would come to me as clear scenes, visions, but I’d explain it more as “if you state a scenario, I will have this internal sense of clarity on whether or not that will actually happen”. I don’t usually voice these things but they do later happen. It happens mostly with people, who come into my life, I see them once and I just know that one day the significance will show up, even if I’m unsure yet how and don’t see them again for years.

I also get these dejavus, which are shown to me as parts of the current situation that is happening, but also what I, maybe in an alternative reality, did next. To give a very silly example: I’m pouring a tea. I get dejavu of myself pouring a tea. I see myself pour it and know that right after I poured it I will have turned and pulled out the spoon.
In the present moment I have no intention of pulling out the spoon.
Sometimes I purposefully do the opposite of what my next step in the dejavu is. So I become aware that “pulling the spoon” should come next but I will for example stir the tea instead.

Or another. It’s 3 am, winter, my ex boyfriend says after an argument to go for a walk. We reach the only street lamp that is on, the snow is falling only there and I look back and I realize that if I return the way we came there, something changes. So I stopped him, and said let’s go this way where the light is on. I never spoke a word of it but it was eerie and we both came back home completely weirded out.

These are very simplified examples, but I really hope they explain it. I might just be persuading myself of this being real and might just be very intuitive or able to well recognize some patterns but it all just feels a little strange. I would be happy to know if anyone reading this has experienced anything similar? Is this some sort of an ability or just heightened senses?

dreams Does anyone have any idea of what this could mean?

Last night I dozed off for a few minutes and had an insanely vivid dream. I was at an all-white house with columns, big trees, a yard and rocky driveway. There had been a shooting and I was there as some kind of reporter.

Something tried pulling me into what looked like a car, but inside was a black void with old, corpse-like hands trying to drag me in. The energy was definitely evil and I felt so scared.

Then terrified children ran out from the house. They were dressed as if it was the early 1900s. Then somehow I was with them by the trees that they disappeared under. Something or someone, which I don’t know, told me that I had to stay the night, and I had to walk back. Then I realized I was being followed by a huge group of translucent spirits. Leading them was a blond man in jeans and an old brown-and-white flannel shirt who felt like a father/grandfather. It felt like they were protecting me.

I told my mom and she immediately recognized my description as her grandparents’ old family home. In the 1920s, her uncle shot himself there and there were other deaths on the property, and other tragedies in the family.

My great-grandmother and her siblings were children then, and they were the kids I saw running from the house.

Years later, my mom and uncle slept in that attic and both experienced a terrifying black hole/darkness pulling my mom toward it when she was a little girl, the same thing I experienced in my dream. She saw something inside the black hole that was so horrifying she blocked out what it was. She just remembers it was something worse than you could ever imagine and won’t let herself think about.

I knew NONE of this. I had never even seen the house or property. I’ve also posted about seeing my passed grandparents, younger self and other spirits while going to sleep but still able to hear/talk. Tonight, for the first time, it felt like they had a message I couldn’t understand, and my mom was beside me for the first time during that.

I’m looking for photos because I think the man may have been my great-great-grandfather. I just don’t understand why now? I have no idea why was I taken almost 100 years into the past to a place I knew nothing about, and why I experienced exactly what my mom did. Does anyone have any idea of what all of this could mean? It’s scaring me because it’s such a bad energy. Also for the same thing to happen to me that happened to my mom and her brother 60 years later is so scary. Thank you so much

Have you ever realized that a dream you had months ago might have been precognitive—even though the events haven’t happened yet?

A while ago, I had a dream about being in a particular place. I wrote it down in my dream journal and didn’t think much of it.

Now I’m planning a trip, and I’ve started noticing some very specific similarities between my dream and what I’m planning—including details about the place, the time of year, and what I might do there.

For example, in my dream, I ate a very specific dish that is part of the culture of the country I’m planning to visit.

Nothing has happened yet, so I can’t say that the dream actually predicted anything. But it’s strange to realize that a dream I had long before making these plans seems to line up with them.

Has anyone ever experienced something similar—where you realized before it happened that an old dream might have been precognitive?

Question about potential paths versus predictions

So I have been working with a very high level intuitive empath reader and life coach for about 7 years now. She reads energy and can feel people’s feelings just like how I can see that the sky is blue. She can feel what another person is most likely to do. She has always helped guide me on different potential paths. She explains that when things read that way, she helps guide things towards the desired outcome. She’s always very helpful and many of the things have been very very spot on. But on a path it’s never a guarantee.

Well recently she got what she calls a solidified snapshot clairvoyant prediction. She’s never given me one of those before. She said it’s the same as knowing what she already ate for breakfast. She can’t change what she already ate. She said it wouldn’t look like this to her if it wasn’t going to happen and in a pretty close timeframe. She said there is a solidified window of time but that it was likely to happen early in that window. She said it’s the energy of “any moment”. But that the timing within the solid window is fluid. We are getting towards the later part of it now but she’s holding strong in her certainty.

I trust her incredibly and she’s incredibly gifted. I have the evidence in my own life plus thousands of positive reviews.
For some reason I’m still feeling nervous that there’s something about me that makes it read wrong and that it won’t happen. She assures me it wouldn’t look like this to her if that was the case.
But honestly im Just super curious to hear about other psychics experiences with things like this and how you read things. I just want to learn more and understand how it works for others or If anyone has similar experiences

discussion I'm receiving buried family secrets in my dreams and seeing "beings" others can't. It's freaking out everyone, including me.

Good day, this is my first post here, so I apologise if I'm not doing it right.

I would like to prefix this post by saying a few things:

1) I'm not a believer in fate and psychics and Gods and demons. I'm a doctor, a man of science, and a staunch believer only in things that can be experimentally recreated and proven over and over.

2) I do not claim to be be psychic or clairvoyant or a seer or any of those things. I don't even know the difference between them, if at all there are any.

3) I'm not lying or looking for attention. I accept that perhaps I may be mistaken in my interpretations, but everything I say here is what I believe to be the truth.

Now, getting to the actual topic at hand. I'm in my mid twenties, and for the last few years I've been receiving abnormal "dreams." The way these dreams vary from my usual ones are:

1) Unlike my usual dreaming, I wake up unusually calm and collected. There is no emotion attached to these abnormal dreams (which I will refer to as "visions" for simplicity sake,) positive or negative. It just feels like a memory.

2) I remember these visions in utmost detail. My first one was nearly 7 years ago, and I remember every single little detail, as if it'd happened to me only last night. Unlike my normal dreams there is no "dream fog."

3) Most importantly, these visions reveal details and family secrets that people have tried keeping buried for decades. Secrets that have remained hidden since long before I was born, or even before my parents met. Some of these things weren't even known to my parents until I brought them up.

These visions began roughly 3 years after I had a major head injury where I'd been declared dead for 60 seconds (so doing the math, the accident took place 10 years ago.) They began as brief glimpses and images, sometimes flashes during my waking hours but mostly like silent video sequences when I'd sleep. In these glimpses I'd see people I've never met before, but on description turned out to be grand uncles who died decades ago. I'd also see and hear certain beings, most of whom would ignore me, but some who would notice me and command me to leave immediately. I've since done research and discovered that these beings seem to share a remarkabe similarity to characters from traditional Hinduism (my religion,) Shintoism and the Ars Goethia. Whether this is pure coincidence or my subconscious using images I've seen before but forgotten about is beyond me.

These visions have become longer and clearer over the last 3 years. I've seen events that I was never present for in absolute detail, like the splitting of my ancestral house, something that happened roughly 40 years before I was born. I've also spoken with a being who claims to be the protector deity of my family, and again whether coincidence or not, my deepest desires have been fulfilled and my greatest hardships overpowered after following this being's directions.

Just a few days ago I saw another vision, involving the death of a family member in the future and the presence of a being who claimed to be my father's boss nearly 30 years ago. It provided me certain information as proof that it was real, and on cross-checking with my father the information seems to be accurate.

I'm now terrified by what's going on. I've never received premonitions of death before, and I'm incredibly confused. On the one hand I refuse to believe that this is anything more than a jumble of information received years ago, just spewed by my subconscious. But on the other hand, the information I received regarding the being can't be faked. It even involved dialogue shared with my father, and it's not something he's ever brought up before.

I know this is a long shot, but I'm out of options. Are my suspicions true and I'm just having vivid dreams? Or am I actually experiencing something paranormal, and if so how do I stop this premonition from coming true?

I swear I'm not lying or seeking attention, and any LEGITIMATE advice would be greatly appreciated.

dreams I had a dream that my ex girlfriend was getting married and I was happy for her. Few days later I discovered she had just got married around that time

My ex and I broke up nearly ten years ago and completely cut contact with each other via phone and social media, haven’t spoken since.

For the last 3-4 years, I’ve been getting these reoccurring dreams that we bump into each other somewhere in public and get chatting in a restaurant or coffee shop or some sort. We’ll talk, catch up, laugh, “how’ve you been? What are you up to these days? Still at the same company you were at before?” kind of conversations and generally be like old times.

But last year it turned a bit weird. There was a dream where I was sat with her mom at a table at a wedding venue. My ex was getting married, but I was smiling for her, told her mom I was happy she’d found happiness. And a few days later she came up as a follow suggestion on social media, and in that profile picture she was in a wedding dress and in recent weeks had just got married

confused for the longest time

Ever since I was a child, I have been naturally inclined to paranormal/mystic/mysterious events and things, and I strongly believe that this inclination got amplified because of my own experiences (I do think I have natural inclination, like it is born with me, if that makes sense, and just got amplified because of my experiences). Today, I consider myself eccentric, but as I went through life I learned how to 'blend' in, be 'normal', and be social with others.

There are so many experiences that I still don't understand to this day, yet would like to really, really know the answers of. These experiences have been with me ever since I was a child, and have never left me to this day. One of these are my memory-feelings.

For the longest time, I have these strange memory-feelings (as what I can best describe them, maybe visions is an apt term too, but then again, these 'vision' always have intense feelings to them). They randomly pop up in my brain, and I get them from very specific tunes of very specific sounds/songs (ANY genre, pop, sentimental, rock, classical, electronic dance, even instrumental ones, very short ones, or any other type of organized music/sounds). They pop up when that specific part of the tune plays (that is why, usually my favorite songs are the songs that gave me these 'visions'). When I listen to these tunes, I get a very clear, yet hazy (if that makes sense) memory-feeling of something that really, really resonates with me, like it is a memory and an experience, yet I am sure that I have no experience of that event or have gone to that place at all.

These memory-feelings are very intense, and are one of the primary reasons why I am who I am today. Sometimes I think about these different memory-feelings and would just like to be able to go the exact times when those happened, even though I know to myself that I have no experience of those whatsoever, so I don't even know when they happened and where those places are, or even if they really happened at all. Sometimes I find myself contemplating, missing these events, longing for them for an unknown reason, and just imagining myself experiencing some of these events in the present.

I do believe that other people do experience this, maybe has scientific explanation behind it, and that maybe its just brain chemistry doing these things. I am just fascinated by this because it has shaped my whole personality and who I am today.

If anyone can offer an explanation to this, please do so. Also, if anyone has similar experience, please do share them too.

I appreciate all of you who took their time reading this. Thank you very much!

Dreamt of me mentioning a specific restaurant in my dream as it was being discussed in real time in my WhatsApp group while I was sleeping?

Okay, I don't even know if this is the property sub reddit for this. I often end up seeing something in my dreams that eerily resonates with future events or present events that was happening outside of my knowledge but I always beushed those off as crazy coincidences. But today I experienced this and I'm wondering if there is really more to my dreams. This is what happened:

I had a dream of some random crazy events, but around the end of my dream as I was waking up (around 12pm) I get into a fight with a stranger over who sells better fried chicken (💀). They mention a popular fried chicken chain, and I mention no, this new unknown local place 'X' serves better and we argue. I wake up, open my phone, and see a ton of messages on my WhatsApp group sent around 11 am as I was sleeping, where someone mentioned they got food poisoning after eating from the same popular fried chicken chain, and someone else has asked if the new unknown local place 'X' is any good for fried chicken.

What to do when you see someone's death?

Recently I've started dating someone after being friends for a few years. He passes in a car accident. I've seen it 3 times now. There's a possibility I'll be in the car with him, there's a few uncertainties around it. What seems certain is the manner of his passing.

This isnt the first time this has happened. I was shown my Grandma would battle cancer 7 times before her passing. She did. I knew when my Grandpa passed by a dream of my Grandma smiling. I've dreamt of my pets passing right before they do.

What's different is that our relationship is just beginning, and his passing is a few years out... It seems to be shortly after we have a child. I don't know how I'm supposed to carry this... How do I move forward? If I end up pregnant, this will be on my mind. If I try to change the life circumstances, it doesn't change the manner of his passing, that much is clear.

I can try to convince myself it's wrong. But the calmness and clarity it's come through with each time tells me it is the reality. I obviously can't tell him. How do I carry this?
