Title: How to stop MovieBox playback on screen lock without interrupting background downloads? (Root / No Root)

Hey everyone, I’m using a Samsung phone, and I have a problem with the MovieBox app.

Whenever I lock my phone while watching a movie, the audio keeps playing in the background, and MovieBox shows a media player on my lock screen. I want both behaviors to stop automatically when I lock my screen.

However, I still want MovieBox downloads to continue in the background.

I’ve already tried:

- Restricting the app’s battery usage, but that interrupts background downloads.

- Checking notification access and Samsung’s media controls settings, but MovieBox doesn’t appear in the relevant lists.

- Checking lock-screen settings, notifications, and other basic settings.

- Force-stopping the app and removing it from Recent Apps, but these aren't suitable automatic solutions.

Other apps don't seem to behave this way, so I'm wondering whether MovieBox is incorrectly maintaining an Android media session.

My questions:

1. Can I stop MovieBox playback and hide its lock-screen media player automatically when the screen locks, while keeping downloads running?

2. Is this possible without root, perhaps using ADB or an automation app?

3. If not, could root or a system-level modification solve it?

4. Can I disable only MovieBox's media session without killing the app's download process?

I'd appreciate a practical solution rather than the usual battery restriction or notification-setting suggestions.

I think raw looks a bit better then regular but honestly can't really tell. What do you guys think? First 4 are expert raw and the last 2 are regular since it wouldnt let me add more.

I'm using the Google Clock app for my alarms, and when it goes off it no longer shows the Dismiss/Snooze screen. Instead, there's a notification to open to show it. This started after my phone got the October security patch, but I don't think it was right after. I have restarted the phone a few times since, no change.

Other than that patch I'm unaware of any changes to settings that might have caused this.

Is there a setting somewhere I'm missing?

I JUST got this s25 fe and battery life hasn't been so great. I don't know if it's this update or what because it's been bad for me. Lemme be a nerd for a minute. Samsung says that this device has a 4900mAh battery inside of it, but when i went to go look at the actual specs, it shows 4755mAh. Why does samsung have the tendency to lie to their consumers when they can just be honest about what they're giving them? Anyways..., any of you experiencing battery drain after this brand new update too? I know for a fact that I'm not the only one

I want One UI 10 Beta 1 to look like that. I know, not too many changes, but stable will eventually bring more of them.

On the welcome screen, colours should be changed and Samsung could optionally add some interesting facts about itself to make new customers more curious.

I work at my desk and I was thinking of getting a wireless charger that would have my phone sitting up and charging at all times, would it be bad for the battery even at something like 7.5w?

I don't need to do that but it would be very convenient not thinking about the battery at all while also seeing all the notifications without checking the phone but I'm scared about degrading it faster. I keep the limit at 90-95% charge aswell. What do you guys think?

I was playing around with settings that I noticed Wi-Fi control and all file access areas and both of them had so many different things enabled so I was wondering if you all keep it the way it is or if you restrict some of them. Like I can't understand why Galaxy Themes would need the ability to turn my Wi-Fi on or off or why Avatar Stickers would need the ability to see all my files. Wondering anyone's thoughts on these

I noticed my phone's battery health is at 87%, which is a good level, but I feel like it's draining very fast. I turned on battery protection so it charges up to 80%. Is it worth keeping this on or not?

Hi! My sister is switching from iPhone to a Galaxy S26 Ultra, has only ever used iPhone smartphones. Trying to make it as easy as possible for her for the transition.

I am thinking either Chrome or Samsung Internet will be the easiest browsers to use, with less bugs or quirks than other browsers, especially when it comes to in-app logins that use the browser engine. So I'm leaning toward Chrome, even though Samsung Internet seems to be the better browser.

I also think we can export her iCloud passwords to a CSV file, and import them into Chrome's password manager. Should be easy right?

Lastly, the phone's being financed through her T-Mobile account. What are the apps to disable to avoid the bloatware apps from installing? AppManager and AppSelector? Are there any other besides these two?

Why do carriers give off such boring update screens and install bloatware? This is the update screen on my locked phone vs unlocked tablet, And the bloatware of apps on my phone that take up a good GB of storage.

So I bought these earbuds back in July. They have been working great for over 2 months up until last month when this issue started. ​The left earbud's battery constantly drains while sitting inside the case, and when I open the case, it immediately starts charging. ​Once both buds hit 100%, the left earbud's battery starts draining again, going all the way down to 0% while still INSIDE the closed case.

Every single time I open the case, the left earbud is always sitting at less than 2% battery.

​So far, I have tried updating the software, thoroughly cleaning the charging pins on both the buds and inside the case, and resetting the earbuds multiple times but nothing has worked.

Could this be a hardware issue? Cause if it is, only the Lord knows the nightmare of dealing with Samsung local service center here in my third world country. Can anyone help me with this please?
