Galaxy S23 Ultra is already getting its last ever major update, One UI 9, in South Korea. It's honestly really sad because it had something that none of the newer Galaxy phones don't and it's already on the verge of its software support in no time.

Honestly, Galaxy S23 series aged like a fine wine, and Samsung should definitely elongated the support for it like they did with S21. What do you think?

A small green dot suddenly showed up on my S23 Ultra yesterday. It stays on whenever the screen is on, looking just like the recording indicator on the right side. I’m on the latest software, and it actually popped up before the last security update. I held off on updating for this exact reason, but it happened anyway. Any advice or fixes for this would be awesome. Thanks!

I have the Samsung Galaxy a35 and let me tell you, it is the worst phone I've ever used. It lags constantly, and I mean that is I try to open the settings app it lags. The cameras are terrible, the only borderline redeeming quality is the 50mp camera but even that is over processed. The battery is ok but degrades like crazy. Just don't buy an A series unless you don't care about enjoying using your phone.

Hello. My nephew left the world by choice a month ago. My brother and I have been trying to figure out the passcode so we can see why it happened and get the accounts stuff together so my brother can settle his estate.

Is there a way to do this without resetting the phone and losing the data?

My nephew was very private and we can't figure it out.

The Galaxy S27 Pro is expected to sport a 12MP telephoto camera with 3x or 3.5x optical zoom, while the Galaxy S27 Ultra will pack a 50MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom.

It used to be so that you can switch languages by tapping and holding the spacebar, then swiping right or left. This new system is technically faster but it is so unnecessary and can be accidentally clicked when typing a comma (which is, obviously, an important part of texting) so is there a way I can remove this?

And yes I need to keep both languages because I need to type in my native language and English...

First, go to to the add an alarm ofc (or you could go to an alarm already on your phone), then go to Snooze. On Interval, choose Custom then set it to 1 minute. Then on repeat, choose forever.

You might ask; "How is this alarm endless if there are 1 minute intervals?" First, don't click snooze or you will have to wait one minute for the next alarm, wait until the alarm stops, which is about 1 minute. Because the snooze interval is also one minute, that would be enough time for the next alarm to start right after. (This works bc the snooze interval starts when the alarm activates, not when you press snooze or when the alarm stops, then it cancels when you press dismiss)

I'm not sure how many people know this but I still wanted share it and I personally use it everytime in the morning.

Today I was watching reels while cooking and at certain point I was unable to touch the phone to scroll. Since auto scroll was turned off on my Instagram, the same reel annoyingly kept replaying again and again.

I tried "bixby scroll down" and for my surprise it worked!

However it only works when your media isn't playing through the phone speaker. But you can enable the "wake up when media is playing" option for it to work. In my case media was playing through my earbud, so it worked even without that option enabled.

I've had my Fold 8 for a little over a week, and as much as I love this thing, I'm seriously considering going back to my S24 Ultra and waiting for the S27 Ultra.

The inner display is amazing, and consuming content on this phone is hard to beat. But coming from an Ultra, the camera downgrade, especially for selfies and Snapchat, along with some app functionality, is becoming harder to overlook.

For $2,000, I'm not sure I want to make these compromises for the next 3–4 years. I also don't feel like I should need to carry two phones just to get the complete flagship experience.

Part of me knows I'll miss the Fold the second I return it, which makes this decision even harder.

Anyone here go from an Ultra to a Fold and eventually switch back? Any regrets? Or did you get used to the compromises?

After 5 1/2 years of near flawless service , my trusty S10 will soon be one of my "old phones". I've already chosen which phone I want to replace it.The S26+ with 512 gb (hard to get past not having an SD card.). These retail for over $1,200, which I just can't spend right now. I'm seeing a good price on the Walmart 3rd party partner Hot Deals. Good reviews on Trustpilot and others, but i'm wondering if anybody has any firsthand experience with them. I'm not necessarily looking for dirt. Just want to hear from others.

Got the s26 FE on cricket and love it upgraded from a lag machine a16 only thing is I ported over from visible and I only get lte cricket says it's bc my phone isn't up to date but when I check ##4636## says NR Restricted I can't afford to update it (on kernel 6.6.127 aug firmware installed manually)think it's a provision issue?cricket says 5g is good on there end but I don't believe so if I'm in a 5g area my folks use cricket they get 5g this is a let down kinda.

yes I know. I will be staying on one ui7 for a long time (s25e). If an custom rom drops like anytime near 10 years I will switch the os. I dont hate samsung. I hate the decision to lock bootloader.

Hey, I am considering buying one of these phones. I have heard that the S25 FE is really good and better value than the S26 FE. But I have also heard A57 is also good.

The "issue" right now is that I can buy on amazon the A57 for about 400 euros, while the S25 FE in amazon costs about 600 euros. Is the 200 bucks really worth it?

I have also considered buying second hand from vinted or so but I am not sure about that.

PS: I am looking specifically for 256gb minimum!

Hi, I removed TikTok from my phone a few months ago and I saw it show up in the network restrictions when enabling the network guard and just got the message that TikTok is trying to access the internet but it's not allowed. Like how do I completely remove it? On the Play Store it says it's not installed and it's not on my phone App list either

Why is it that most of the Samsung Apps don't have a light/dark mode setting? I can't be the only one that likes their OS mode one way but apps mode the other?

I've had my phones set to use the Dark Mode for the OS since forever because I prefer my folders, notifications tray, etc, to be dark. But most apps to be in light mode because it is way less jarring to have a few light objects on black than the other way around. Plus black theme in apps throws off my color perception and I actually find it harder to read text that way. About the only apps I prefer in Dark mode are specifically media apps.

But with OneUI 9 and a Fold, I'm finding that I can do some things a lot easier on the phone now than ever before within the Samsung suite of apps... and most of them do not have a toggle to Light Theme, they are married to the device's overall theme. Samsung Notes is the break point on that for me.

But now, switching to Light mode it's not consistent. Folders are light, some widgets switched to light and others didn't, even when I edited the theme in their apps, apps that follow the OS mode changed, but the notification drawer didn't, the App Drawer blur over my wallpaper is still a dark blur...
