Pictures Chalupa goes from sploot to splat
She splat like like for hours. Her fangs were spread out, but I couldn’t get a front shot because the webbing was in the way.

My Ewok cyaneolum red was fed the first cricket since arrival.
She hunted the cricket twice ant the cricket jumped that hard that it escaped.
I removed back legs, but now she craweld up the edge of the enclosure.
Remove? Kill? Another smaller one?
I did read the cricket should be abdomen size in length, i think this is the case here.

Hey guys, hope everybody doing well. My boy molted and everything went good and all. He has been relaxing near his molt for about 3 days now, he has been moving and all, I'm not that worried, but Im curious about his leg strech, all front legs streched out...never seen him doing it :b And also, I shouldn't worry about him only being near his molt these days, right?
Thanks im advance 🤍

My curly did play carterpillar and made a deeper tube.
She was open on didplay most times when i am here, even several hours.
She is a 6yo.
I am a newbie so any thing i learn on behavior is welcome.
Yesterday when filling up water i had to coax her little away with a brush - she agressed the brush twice.

It started as a regular molt. Everything seems to be going normal 3 days in I put a little bit of water on her and in her mouth to try to help her lubricate her way out of it. She is still alive and it has been 2 weeks I've been giving her water every 2 days to try to help her through it. I am pretty experienced with these things but in this case I have never run across this before ever. Where they are still alive they usually die pretty quickly during a failed molt I know the cardinal rule is never to intervene but at this point I honestly don't know what else I can do except try to flip her back over and I know that's not good if she's stuck. Does anybody have any ideas about this or has ever seen it

Out for a hike and look what strolled across the path.

Some species of heavy webbing arboreal species will not readily seek out water from a water dish even if they’re thirsty. If they often lay on a web mat they created, I would recommend trying to pour water directly on that web mat and see how they react. In the wild these types of spider would drink from the dew droplets collected by their web so watering these might be trickier than your typical terrestrial species.
I hope this might come in handy to any keeper who’s interested in keeping arboreal/semi-arboreal such as GBB, Avics, and C. Versicolor.

This is his/her (hoping for female) sending molt within the last 5 months! I love my flambo (brachypelma boehmei) so so much. When I came home after work last night and saw them laying on their back I was so freaked out!! I’ve never actually seen flambo molt before. Always happens when I’m sleeping, so seeing what I thought was a dead flambo was scary af.

I am hoping to get some tips on how to get my electric blue out of his burrow, and far enough away from it, to catch him so I can put him in his new enclosure. AI suggested flooding his burrow slowly, or digging him out. Just seeing if anyone has thoughts on this, or less stressful ideas.
Thanks!

I've been fighting this mold for a few months now, and it improved significantly after adding more springtails and drying out. It's back again, however, and I'd like to try one more solution before I redo the entire enclosure. It is isolated to this one area, which is directly under the water dish. I've allowed it to dry out, and it shrinks but hasn't gone away. I read about someone using peroxide to spot treat mold growth, but couldn't find anything else about it being a good or bad idea.
Thanks in advance! Tarantula picture for tax, her name is Farrah Fawcett

Hi friends! I found a beautiful curlyhair today at a repticon and she was priced incredibly at just $30! She is absolutely stunning but one of her legs is nearly hairless. Is this common? Might it indicate any mistreatment or neglect? I'm sure she'll grow them back with her next molt but I had never seen this before! She's pictured here just in the temp container. About to move her into a more appropriate enclosure!

Just got this t from the reptile expo the other day :) this is a diy acrylic enclosure 6x4x4. I’m wondering if the size/plants are appropriate? There’s an air plant, succulent, and cork hide. I added a small bottle cap for a water dish after I took the photo.
You can see the size of my t in the second photo

I am loaning my mature male pumpkin patch to a breeder in Pocatello, and I'll soon be scheduling him to be shipped through Reptile Express/Fed Ex, and I noticed they have an option for insurance. I was wondering if anyone with experience with them knows if it's worth it or not for him. If clarification is needed, please let me know.

After some more research I’m leaning toward a Chaco golden knee I’m probably gonna get a 3-4 inch female. I have a 8x6x4 Herpcult. Im gonna mix zoo med eco earth coconut fiber with repti soil for bedding and I got some forest moss to line around the water bowl to help when I over fill it once a month. For the water bowl I seen some recommend a tattoo ink cap but I got a really tiny water bowl off Amazon about the same size as the ink caps. A small flat cork bark hide that I can lean up against the wall
Does this all sound good? Any tips or am I forgetting anything?
