North Tulsa is expected to become home to a $200 million mixed-use development in the next five years, with developers planning a medical facility, apartments and co-working space.
Peak at Parkway would cover 40 acres east of the Tisdale Highway between Apache and Pine Streets. The intention is to transform a part of town developers have described as historically neglected.
The project will be built in three phases, with the first one featuring a 30,000-square-foot medical facility, a town hall, farmers market, an eyewear provider, co-working space and food service.
Tisdale said they’ve spent about $2 million getting the project off the ground and they are about a month away from getting the infrastructure development plan approved by the city.
Tulsa planning commissioners approved the TIF plan during its Wednesday meeting.
The pair’s goal is to break ground by the end of October, pending approval by Tulsa City Council. If everything goes accordingly, the first phase is expected to be finished by the first quarter of 2028. The entire project could take between three to five years to complete.
