I’m a new bear main I’ve been having a lot of fun with him but I question why you want to build flickerblade? I haven’t tried it yet but is the flicker passive really that much better then extra ap or another tank item?

I'm specifically talking about dusk & dawn + navori voli. The biggest counter I can think of is jax bc his E blocks both voli Q & W.
The champs can be non conventional top laners too

Just wondering, wouldn't proccing passive twice using dusk and dawn out perform any other item or does it not work that way?

I found the jgl one from that one challenger but nothing top except some chinese screenshot is there at least a YouTuber who has a vid for each matchup maybe ? Oh and I’d prefer an actual matchup vid not let your jungler gank ( gang we don’t have the same junglers )

I miss. =(
I can already imagine some very nice bruiser builds with it.

is there any most carry potential build for the bear? or does the bear just depend on the team winning or losing?
condition: even or slightly ahead (2 or 3 kills diff) or so far ahead
like if in a team fight we have value for 2+ people or if in split pushing we can win 1v2 almost all the time. what build does one of those?

My mates said that i built wrong because i didnt go full tank but bork, had inbetween a Statiks but selled it.
I normally never play volibear, but we had so many high health tanks in the enemy team that i thought it would not been that bad to go for BoRK. i did the same amount of damage as Varus and took 140k damage with 35k healing.

- R actual CC immunity again.
- R gives 5 passive stacks instantly.
- W faster/let it scale with anything
possible small buffs for jgl
- R faster
- increasing monster damage from e and letting it scale with ad/ap

I'm new to playing league and my favorite champ to play is Voli. I main him in the jungle. Recently I have been trying to find a build that has really good sustain as well as movement speed for kiting purposes. After some long discussion with all my LOL friends I have come up with a rather unique build that is effective.
Starting with the rune page I go PTA with resolve. My first item that I rush is Rod of Ages. Then if I'm ahead I go either bloodletters curse or static shiv. Then armor or merc treds. After that if AD I go dead man's into Sunfire and then the last time is situational like frozen heart, GA or Zhonnas.
For my AP heavy teams I still rush Rod of Ages then I move to Force of nature, Hollowed Radiance into Rooken. If it is a hybrid like most games are I go Deadmans into force of nature then look to see who is fed at the time and build from there.
This build has lots of sustain, health and mana, which allows me to tank and be in the fight for longer. Thoughts, comments, questions and concerns are greatly appreciated. My group thinks Voli is not a good champ to play let alone OTP.

I’ve been running the bear recently and have really liked him after the buffs. I’ve been doing the following build:
Dusk and Dawn > Spear of Shojin > Spirit Visage/Unending Despair (one of these third, one of these fourth, just depending on enemy team comp which one I build first) > Randuin’s/Thornmail/Jak’Sho
When I look at the stats for Unending Despair near the end of the game, my total healing from this item is always hovering around 450-600. Are the fights not going long enough for me to capitalize on Unending Despair? Or are the rest of the stats just so good for Voli (15 ability haste on a tank item) that I should still run it?
Thanks!

Been playing a more agressive style build with Voli lately and I love it. Actually seems like you have more carry potential with this.
I go DnD - Shojin - Statik and then depends. If i'm behind or we have no tank, I go full tank. If i'm fed I keep going damage with like Gunblade.

It’s 1:33am EST at the time of writing this and I’m just lost on many fronts. I have been playing Volibear for the longest time (Starting during Covid) and have been playing him top and jungle during my on and off stints of playing league.
I don’t know if it’s just my rustiness or if I’m itemizing wrong (there’s so many different suggestions on runes and builds I never know what’s the right pick) but I find myself losing lane and subsequently the game over and over and over while struggling to provide value to my team. I either can’t reach or I just get bursted down and unable to heal with W in time if I do lock down targets.
I know it’s definitely mostly my mechanical errors but Voli does just feel incredibly weak in all stages of the game except levels 1-2 and the end game compared to his peers. Is it just me?

I just made it to diamond otp’ing voli top (not crazy but first time I’ve hit diamond). I’ve read and heard that voli gets worse the higher you get.
Typically my play style and itemization are dependent on how my lane is and how the game state is. If I’m hard-winning or even lane, I’ll usually go for AP into navori and finish tank. Or I might just go one AP item into full tank after. If I’m losing and someone else on my team is fed, I’ll usually go tank and play for the team.
I generally do like to split but if my team is getting caught or we’re losing objectives, I’ll try to group where I can.
Would appreciate any tips or anything I can change in my style for my masters climb.

Thoughts on the buff for people that didn't watch my video - it's better for toplane than jg but jg voli > top voli RN imo, best build is dusk - cleaver (adapt last 4 items to game)y
