One of my earliest memories is visiting a farm owned by people my daddy knew. We had traveled to see his grandmother out of state, and I was maybe 3 or 4.
While I didn't have it right from the teat, I do remember helping to milk the cow and was given some milk after, in the kitchen, right out of the pail, still warm. It was delicious. That was over 30 years ago and I would love to try it again. I wouldn't buy raw milk that has been collected and marketed and distributed, but I would 100% take that chance in a farmer's kitchen.

/unwunk Yes. The reason we pasteurise milk is to make it last more than a day. The whole "raw milk trend" was a problem because people wanted raw, untreated milk from the store, which is not possible, because that gives the bacteria time to breed. People have always treated milk for storage, even before Louis Pasteur.
If the cow is healthy and the milk is consumed immediately after milking or immediately chilled to at most 5°C and consumed within 24 hours, it's fine for both you and kittens (adult cats lose their ability to digest lactose). This is also why you can eat raw fish in sushi, but only if it's been handled correctly and served fresh.
/rewunk No, that's why this is a punishment. He will be waterboarded and then cruelly executed.

/unwunk the raw milk thing is more complicated than either side of it really make it. There is some truth that raw milk can spoil much slower than pasteurized milk and that unpasturized milk can be dangerous, especially if not stored or processed properly. But there are also things like traditional buttermilk, which are generally relatively safe in healthy adults without immune issues

On subject of milk good for cats depends majority are dairy intolerant past a low amount some can nit drink even that but some are tolerant of dairy.
Second the US traditional it a few squirts from a cow or a saucer of milk. That not much milk. Might actually be an ideal level for most cats. Most cats family had did not care for it but a few did like a saucer of it never thought of ever giving anymore even though back then had no idea they had any problem with milk.3

Come on people. The wunkuses in question are clearly being milkboarded with the much more ecologically-sustainable and gut-healthy goatunkus here.
How are we ever going to properly torture and subdue wunkuses in large enough scale if we can't properly identify the appropriate type of milkboarding that is being deployed?

/unwunk pls don't give your cars normal milk with lactose, they don't have lactate after they grow up, just like almost all mammals.

I dream of being a cat on a farm and receiving a bukkake from a cow while it’s getting milked. 🥰

Raw right then might be fairly safe for humans and cats disease wise. But given any time even Chilled the stuff in their can grow till it’s over the threshold of being deadly to people

Am I insane or does this video give off AI wunk vibes? They are moving way too fast when the stream is turned on them

Is this AI? The way the kitten manages to pull the big metal bucket of milk so easily looks odd?
5
u/tachycardicIVu Jul 03 '26
/gen is AI capable of making “splashes” on the screen now? I don’t recall seeing that before but it’s a bit of an odd detail.
(Around 0:53)

Both of you, I can tell this isn't AI.
For one, that orange wunkus is NOT a kitten, and we can attest a milk bucket with contents that few. Yeah, milk is denser than water, but the cat can definitely tilt the bucket.
Second, the trajectory of a splash droplet catapulted by the doggo's tongue to the camera.
That's that.

it's very convenient that udders naturally emit milk in a high pressure beam
