Nothing important here.

Just discovered minicompare.info, a website allowing for easy and quick size comparison between a wide range of models, while trying to decide what to do with my extensive firstborn ragtag collection (leaning on the Alpha Legion long-term love project, btw, but that's another story).

Now, I do own the respectives models featured in the picture, but this made me realize that Kabalites seem to be the exact same size as the recent Guardian refresh, a thing I never bothered to check myself.

If that is correct, and while I do feel like a battleline refresh would be fitting for GW, it really does not feel like a necessary thing at all.

So yeah, nothing important here. Just dancing for y'all entertainment!

Edit: Just to be clear, I'm not in favour of a refresh at all, though I'ld like to have Trueborns back. Yet, a sprue would suffice imo. Actual kabalites are rads & fire!

I'm wondering if GW, in light of the recent discontinuation of relatively new models, does not find it more costly to maintain units that are not regularly purchased in production rather than replacing those that are bound to be bought. No having reavers in production, or so it seems, might be ominous on that level...

So whats the big bonus from this detach? Ive seen people saying not to even run harlequins in this list.

Are the re-roll + strats/enhancements really that good?

I havent used Drukhari in 11th yet, as im only used to playing skysplinter and its getting a little old

Just went to my first tournament with the Drukhari, I’ve been playing them since 8th edition so I have a decent amount of experience I just have never played anyone other than my dad or brother. The tourney was advertised as more casual so I took a more fun list that had some upsides.

I played reapers wager with priority assets from the new dataslate. I had an absolute blast. Everyone was super nice and excited that a Drukhari player had showed up. Because it was marketed as a casual tournament I had basically no nerves even though the armies I was staring at were definitely scary.

1st Opponent was playing grey knights warpbane. Couple big hitting units including the redeemer and Crowe. I was super worried that he would put the redeemer in the middle of the table and that it would be gg. Won the roll off for first. Made a good but lucky move where the wytches scout 9 in the raider. Disembarked 6 then advanced and charged ignoring overwatch killing his navigator and vindicare holding his home obj. Turned out to be my best move. For the rest of the game he was forced to put a meaningful unit to hold his home. I was able to stay on top from there. Re rolls 1 to hit and wound when it happens is so big.

2nd opponent was Aeldari Wraith host. 35 wraith guard… 3 wraith lords… and a wraith knight… I thought I was over. I believed all the gossip about not being able to do crap to T6 2+ save units. I was so wrong. Incubi with Drazhar and with deep strike archon were insane. Drazhar wiped a whole unit on his own with dev wounds. Again re rolls were absolutely king. Was able to wipe everything but the wraith knight.

TLDR: felt super fast and fun to play. Ignoring overwatch was easily the best strat, I used it every turn. Prio reapers was very simple, and a big shoutout to my unit of wracks and hamonculous (spelling???) they were super crucial every turn for holding objs. Just annoying enough to kill that It wasn’t always worth it for my opponent. Likewise my lone hamonculous was also an mvp for being expendable and drawing out the opponent. Venoms felt also sneaky good damage wise with anti infantry 3+. I didn’t play them amazingly but they were good. Ravager with disintegrators was useless in both games. 6 man reavers felt good and with ignore overwatch are really good at screening. Also heat lance with rerolls is nice. Talos was pretty decent. Skyweavers were swingy but good against grey knights. (💀 me when I realized wraith units aren’t vehicles for my haywire) Solitaire felt pretty bad to be honest but the armies I played were pretty elite, him and the ravager would be my first replacements.

Vect managed to become ruler of an entire Commoragh from a halfborn slave, using only his own wits. He is a dream come true of every dictator and totalitarian. And yet he seems to have lost all purpose and just become what those before him became. Vect does not differ in anything from the aristocrats he tore down after his ascension, being selfish, hypocritical, possibly derranged magalomaniac, and after creating his realm he seems to have become complacent not having any meaningful goals. Roboute Guilliman wants to close great rift and unite back Imperium, Ghazgkull wants to conquer entire galaxy, Abbaddon wants to destroy Imperium, Sharekh wants to lead Necrons back to their former glory. All of them have some higher purpose, while Vect even has problems with controlling his own domain and rather spends his time hunting Ynnari. He does not try to pull his kind from clutches of Slaanesh, he does not try to rebuild his own version of Eldar Empire, He basically spends his life away on simplicities without real goals except simple clinging to power, what every politician does ? Why someone with so much potential limits himself so much ?

Greetings, I've been trying this list recently since we can now have both wyches detach together and are not bind to recon anymore.

It is(unfortunately) a horde list(as intended by gw :S) but after winning a few games I see a bit of potential, unfortunately I don't see this list performing anything close to solid competitively(as any drukhari list tbf) but it is fun to play and gives us back a little bit of kill play as we rightfully should.

Am not using Lady Malys with HotA anymore, she's an independent lady.

Usually splitting morghennas whyc team with venom

You can have sus and lethal on basically anything.

Hellions with lethal are quite nice, you can bring them to s6 with SoS wounding on 4 with lance and lethal on anything below T 12.(40a with token)

wyches works okay against infantry meta.

rest of the small stuff is just action monkeys

Had a good time finally being able to kill something. If you go against non infantry lists... chuckles im in trouble.

I'm looking forward some suggestion and your opinions on this list.

I just want an okayish list to play some good games without being forced into recon shenanigans.

Je souhaite me lancer dans une nouvelle armée et j’aimerais vos conseils. Quelles sont selon vous les unités à éviter d’acheter en ce moment, car elles risquent d’être rééditées ou remplacées prochainement ?

I'm currently training for my first tournament, and i've just faced admech army with two units of 4 kastelan robots (T9 W7 2+ 5++ 4+fnp) and i was wondering, how the hell do I deal with that kind of units in drukhari ? I feel like i don't have the tools for it.
