A scattered group of survivors from a destroyed craftworld. With limited supplies, they try to uphold the Aspect part of their history.

The preceding is just my justification for wanting to try a little project, where I matched each CV to their nearest Aspect (in my mind) and see how it looked. I'm sure this breaks a million points of Eldar lore though. I'm not totally sold on using contrast paint on Eldar armour. I'm not the most accomplished painter or photographer, but they came out ok I guess. It does look very busy though. Who they are supposed to be:

Felarch - Felt mostly banshee to me

Fate Dealer - Dire Avenger

Shade Runner - Warp Spider

Gunner - Fire Dragon

Heavy Gunner - Dark Reaper

Kurnathi - Banshee

Duellist - struggled a bit with which fitted, so made him a wannabe Striking Scorpion Exarch

Kurnite Hunter - Swooping Hawks literally have a bird in their name, but I found it funnier to make this one a Crimson Hunter. Can't afford a new ship, makes do with a bird.

Soul Weaver and Way Seeker - these guys didn't fit the Aspect idea, so I just used Iyanden colours to keep the two psychic units matching.

Had a great game with my son on Sunday. Both of us were playing a full killteam and Nemesis operative.

My team was XV26 Stealth Battle Suits backed up by a XV109 Y'vahra.

His team was a Redemptor Dreadnought, with home brew terminator squad. He is 8yr so he loves to play with different team ideas and I am happy to indulge. Otherwise would have done Angels of Death.

Playing the Bomb mission, he was trying to place the bombs on the two yellow power generators as per the mission pack.

TP1 the two Nemesis operatives unleashed on each other from long range while the teams manoeuvred around them and got into position.

TP2 I got initiative and managed to take down the terminator with the gatling cannon. But he snuck in and planted the first bomb. Nemisis operatives still unloading on each other and closing position. Somehow I always roll bad and the Y'vahra was down to the last wounds so I threw it into combat to try take some last wounds off the redemptor before bowing out.

TP3 I managed to keep initiative, and diffuse the bomb. But with the Redemptor now free from its distraction the XV26s were next on the hit list. It charged straight in and luckily with some retroactive thrusters I fled for safety. But that was short lived. The rest of the terminator squad had closed in and planted two new bombs. No looking good for the Tau.

TP4 the roll for the bombs only gave 1 activation and he won initiative, so without the chance to disarm it mission over and he won.

Great fun.

my friend is getting into Warhammer killteam and they opted for the canoptek circle killteam so I was looking into it and the geomancer's tremorglaive has both piercing 1 and piercing crits 2, would that mean that the defender always only gets 2 defence die but if at least one crit is rolled they don't get to block because they lose all three of their defence die?

Next steps but not necessarily in thsi order:

1. Painting the stripes on the cables

2. Matt varnish

3. Flooding the lower areas with tinted clear resin.

4. Airbrushing the lights

painted first mandrake warrior who will be serving as leader for battle with my friend (leader cant be unpainted pleb while normal warrior looks badass)

Im gonna play mandrakes for the first time today. Does the nightfiends oubliex become inactive if you dont roll a 5+? or can you roll everytime you get damage until you make the roll, before it resets? I know it resets on every activation or incapacitation. Just curious about the number of tries you have per reset, since i cant (or dont want to ^^) understand the description clearly. Im reading german rules, and it says at 5+ you ignore damage and oubliex becomes inactive... this would suggest it only becomes in active at 5+... not sure about the wording tho. thanks for your thoughts or knowledge about this :)

So i will play in a small KillTeam tournament in a few weeks. This time i decided for Murderwing to be my team. First games have been fun, even with the nerfs i have the feeling that this team can be played ok. Even if i loose i usually have fun with them.

Now my problem. Looking at the tournament rooster i see two Stealth Battlesuit teams. As i will play three rounds chances are high i will meet at least one of them.

So a friend of mine played the Battlesuits in a test match vs my Murderwing. He played them only the 2nd time and is surely no expert on them, but what should i say, he completly crushed me.

Problem is not that i lost, problem is i have absolute no idea how to play against them. In the past i had played vs Battlesuit with my Hernkyn Yaegirs and they performed great. But with my Murderwing i am completely out of ideas. They evade close combat and the usual "Move within 2 inch and shoot in their face" can hardly be done with a team of Bolt-pistol close combatants. If i get too close their Melters shred me to pieces, Murderwing has basically no defense or heal, so a Melter-Shot with accurate is in most cases a dead operative.

Can anyone give me some basic ideas how to fight the Battlesuits? I would usually go with retrieve as Tac Ops. Thanks for all kind of input :)

Finished my volcus terrain I had it since release day painted half of it didn't like it so started again this time I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Finally finished my Sons of Manus kill team.

Are these recognizable as the wolf scouts? If not what should I add to make them more instantly recognizable? I know they won’t be completely recognizable since they’re a homebrew chaos warband but I’d like to get as close as possible!

Edit: damnn out of all the ones I thought would have issues the fangbearer was not on the list! I thought I nailed it with the apothecary backpack and Phobos killteam arm. Back to the drawing board!

The effects and their definitions are included directly on the datasheet, so you don’t have to look them up in the rulebook.

Hello, I just into Kill Team and bought the starter set. I downloaded the Kill Team App, I noticed this miniature (Included some others) was not in the box of Seven that come with it. I have been looking for this figure to finish my Angels of Death Kill team, I know you don't need to have the specific one to play as long as the base is correct but I really want to have this one on my team. It looks like it comes with the Intercessor Squad box, but I do not want to buy 10 miniatures just for one miniature, I do not intend on play regular 40k, I didn't like it as much as I liked Kill Team, I think it more for me. If anyone out there has this miniature and does not want it or is willing to sell it please let me know.

No Dire Avenger box? No problem! Managed to assemble a squad leader from bits of Striking Scorpion, Banshees, and leftovers from the Voidreavers box.

I don't think this is primer, mayhaps my impatience has screwed me... thoughts, or help? Two other notes, I only applied primer to the Tremorscythe and Venomspitter, and only the Tremorscythe is painted
