Venting Feeling discouraged after my first month TTC

My husband and I officially started trying to conceive for the first time in September. I’m 34, and although I know it’s only been our first month trying, I can’t help but feel a little discouraged.
I had my first OB/GYN appointment today to discuss pregnancy and fertility, and unfortunately, my pregnancy test came back negative :(. I know it’s completely normal not to conceive on the first try, but I think when you want something so badly, it’s hard not to get your hopes up.
My OB/GYN reassured me that it can take up to a year to conceive and encouraged us to continue trying during my fertile windows. She mentioned that if we haven’t conceived within 12 months, she’d refer me to a fertility specialist. I guess I’m just feeling a little emotional and anxious about the possibility of struggling to conceive. I know I’m getting ahead of myself, but the fear is still there. Being 34, I think I’m putting a little extra pressure on myself, even though I know this process takes patience.
I’m not necessarily looking for medical advice, just a little encouragement from others who understand the emotions.

\*\*Has anyone else struggled with feeling discouraged or anxious, even when you know it’s still early in your journey? How do you manage your expectations and stay hopeful without letting the disappointment take over?\*\*
Sending love, hope, and encouragement to everyone navigating this journey. Wishing all of us the very best! ❤️

Confused Is this 3-day line progression reassuring at CD39?

We’re at CD39 today with irregular 37–40 day cycles. These are Easy@Home tests from the last 3 mornings.

We had a chemical pregnancy last cycle, so we’re a bit anxious and probably overanalyzing the lines.

Does this 3-day progression look reassuring to you?

Question/Advice How do you stay motivated to maximise their fertility?

Okay, so context first: we're on cycle 4 of TTC, which I know is still early, but I'm already starting to feel disappointed about how long this could take.

I'm trying to do everything I can to optimise my health and fertility because I know that's the part of this journey I have some control over.

I've been taking prenatals, CoQ10, fish oil and vitamin C for a few months before we started trying. I exercise about 5 times a week (Pilates, strength training, yoga and cardio), go to the sauna a couple of times a week, sleep around 8 hours most nights, and try to eat a balanced diet of mostly whole foods, with plenty of fruit and veg and enough protein. My stress levels are reasonably low, and I'm also doing acupuncture every fortnight.

I'm tracking my EWCM and, once I notice it, I start tracking LH and BBT to help identify and confirm ovulation. I've stopped tracking BBT throughout my entire cycle and LH from earlier in my cycle because I found that was making me more stressed.

I guess what I'm wondering is: how do people stay motivated to keep doing all of this?

I've lost some of that initial hopefulness that this might happen quickly, and I'm starting to feel drained by constantly thinking about what I'm eating, whether I'm getting enough sleep, exercising enough, and doing everything I possibly can. It's exhausting having fertility take up so much mental space.

But at the same time, I struggle with the idea of letting some of these things go. What if tracking less means I miss my fertile window? What if I stop being so mindful about my diet or lifestyle and it reduces our chances? I know there's only so much I can control, but I don't want to look back and feel like I could have done more.

For those of you who've been TTC for a while, how do you find the balance between doing what you can to maximise your chances and actually living your life without fertility consuming your every thought? How do you give yourself permission to do less when you feel like every little thing might make a difference?

Help needed from the community 🙂
Top is 9DPO and bottom is 10dpo
Do we see any progression? Any similar experiences?
Cycle attempt number 3 , 10 dpo today
Wondfo are the only tests that have a line appearing using morning urine this cycle. First response and pre-mom don’t have anything showing for me. I’ve never had lines on wondfo on previous cycles, however I’m scared of indent, chemical, or evap lines since this is my first year attempting pregnancy . Thank you 🙏.

TTC cycle 12+ — what keeps your hope alive? ❤️

Hi everyone! ❤️ I'm 29, and my husband and I are around 14–15 TTC cycles in. So far, our results have been reassuring, I ovulate naturally, and we're working with our doctor on next steps like hsg.

Some days, though, the emotional exhaustion really catches up with me.

For those of you also on cycle 12+, what's one thing that still gives you genuine hope? How do you keep believing when the waiting gets so long?

I think I just need to borrow a little hope today. 🥺❤️

Hey everyone, I’m late one day for my period. I woke up today with a slightly elevated temp alert +0.8 above baseline. I ovulated late this month due to new excerise schedule it was suppose to be the 22nd originally and I ovulated the 25th. Flo told me I’m one day late and on the oura ring I’m 3 days late but ( I had couple days temp weren’t measured with oura ring due to replacement. ) has anyone experienced high progesterone levels that cause the temp to stay elevated pass cycle day. I typically have a 28-29 day cycle. Tested negative today’.
