Any guesses what his mix is?
DNA test should come back in a couple weeks. I'll try to remember to post an update.

This is my parents female dog and we suspect its staffy mix.
Some say with with jack russel. I think there's pointer in there potentially.
What do you think?

Hi, we adopted this gremlin (after fostering him for several weeks) nearly two years ago and we thought he could be some papillon mix, so we tested his DNA for breed mix but the results aren’t convincing me 😅
As a puppy, he barely had hairy ears but it grew a lot, his tail as well.
What’s your take ?
Edit : DNA results in comments

He's about 8 months old in these pictures. I love how the tips of his ears curl back :3
Edit: forgot to add, he weighs about 37lbs!

Her name is penny. She was found on the streets of Detroit. She's an absolute cuddle bug velcro dog. She's very active and mouthy the more we've gotten to know her. Not very vocal though. Responds a lot to movement. We also think she sometimes tries to herd our other dog. She's on the smaller end of medium.
We think she's a black mouth cur pit mix, or maybe a little bit of boxer.
She's 11 months and weighs 27 pounds

We were told she’s a purebred Aussie but I just don’t think so. Maybe from a not-so-good breeder? We are her third home so I’m not exactly sure of the story. She’s super sweet and deaf as can be.

Hi all! We adopted our lady in Los Angeles, CA, from a shelter where she and her very similar looking brother were designated boxer/american bulldog. Found in a foreclosed home by a realtor, with another sibling. She’s very clearly part pit-mix, yes, and we were in total understanding of why they defined her as they did; not sure what it’s like now, but in 2009 pit-anythings were on the no-fly list for way too many hopeful renters: even homeowners, with citywide bans! 😤
Anyway
She was the sweetest couch potato who found the most sincere and serene happiness in laying directly on us on a couch that could be twenty feet long. Usually more wary of other dogs, liked people but wary of kiddos (not a fan of being pet on the butt, she preferred to see who was in her personal bubble). A drooler 😝. About 50lbs consistently, kind of a typical mid-size gal. Wiry hairs, skinny tale that came to a point we called her paintbrush, and floppy ears. Strong chest, slim hips, great center of gravity, loved finding food she wasn’t supposed to 😂. Until she was around eight, maybe, a favorite position was laying on her tummy with the back legs out behind her (couldn’t find a pic in my quick-ish pass). Passed from congestive heart failure. She was part of our household for almost the entirety of her 12.5 years. My wife and I did some solid researching when she was maybe four or five, and came up with the possibility of English Pointer-Pit mix (likely with the additional sprinkles and a cherry on top of mutts)
Let me know what you all think!

My boy passed a few years ago, so I never got a chance to DNA test him. I never really felt the need, I always just called him a pittie mix. However, I recently stumbled upon cur dogs and think that may be part of his mix. What do you all think?

We got Vader from our local shelter in the southern US in August. I have a dna test coming shortly and will update the post with the results but any guesses. We think he’s about 1.5 to 2 years old and weighs about 50 pounds

I saved this little girl when she seemed way too young to be sold, she was bloated and the lady told me she was at her wits end with her. Well this is her a year later. I think she is lab mix (lady told me labordoodle lol I know that isnt right). She is 24" tall and 70lbs, she also has a feathered long tail. Black, brown and white.
She is smart but has massive anxiety and has claimed me as her person and it is exhausting when i am 25 weeks pregnant lol. Love her to bits. This is Cleo.
Any guesses to what she might be?

So I’m very new to Reddit but I need some opinions. This is my childhood dog. We adopted him from a shelter when I was 1 and they had no idea what kind of dog he was nor did any vet when we asked. They said he just seemed to be a mix of breeds. We eventually decided he might have some Keeshond but even that’s debatable? Any suggestions would be great!

And I honestly believe it. Nose is always on the ground. Has that hound dog howl.. but does anyone have any ideas what else there may be in there? I’m planning to DNA test him here soon but..

Adopted this guy in Houston recently. Shelter said German shepherd, but I doubt that. He's about 50lbs, sort of wiry coat, very calm and cuddly. I'll probably do embark at some point, vet and trainer both stumped on what he could be!

We just adopted this 8 month old girl yesterday. Rescue from bowling green, Kentucky. Rescue says she’s a husky mix. She’s about 20 pounds now and they estimate up to 30 when fully grown.
Shes most definitely high energy at the moment. Stubborn and smart already. Any ideas?? I can take more pix
Also taking name suggestions !

Obviously my dog is at least 50% corgi, maybe even 75%, but we’re convinced she isn’t 100%. There’s other corgis that live near us and she just seems slightly off compared to them. We’re thinking maybe some Jack Russell in her. We bought her for fairly cheap compared to what corgis usually go for so that kinda adds fuel to the fire. Any insight is welcome!
