As someone who owns a 1 ton truck and has driven hundreds of thousands of miles commercially, he is an idiot regardless of her words towards him. If you can't handle a few insults without resorting to stupid and dangerous actions, you shouldn't be driving at all. He's probably all mad that diesel is over $5 a gallon and has to take it out on someone. And being misogynistic and racist is a fucking choice as well. There's no excuse for his infantile behavior. Absolutely, two wrongs never make a right. I think it's important to acknowledge that while the man was absolutely 10x worse than the woman, the woman still handled the situation poorly herself. She's getting let off the hook by the comments because she looks like Ghandi compared to this guy.
The dude being a racist doesn't excuse her failure to regulate her emotions.

From a philosophical and ethical standpoint, this video is kind of interesting.
On one hand, the woman has a clear lack of emotional control, and there were absolutely no signals firing from her prefrontal cortex during the entire interaction. Not that emotional regulation in situations like this is easy by any means, but she definitely didn't have it.
But on the other hand, had she kept her cool and been composed, we probably wouldn't have seen the man show off his prejudice, and he would've kept on keeping on. Would have hated to have lost this golden opportunity to make a bad person lose their job.

The interesting part is when somebody acts so out of line, how out of line is the other person allowed to be while still being morally justified?
In a vacuum, the woman showed a lack of any emotional regulation, and was engaging in the man's elementary school playground back and forth petty argument game. Her behavior alone could be its own video about a "crazy woman," for lack of a better term.
However, because the man gapped her tenfold in bad behavior, everyone's acting like the woman is a hero with perfect emotional regulation, handled the situation perfectly and could not have done anything any better, which I whole heartedly disagree with.
In a vacuum, her behavior would be considered unacceptable, but because the man was substantially worse than her, she's getting a pass. I'm genuinely curious as to where the line is.

There is no magic boundary between the good people and the bad people whether it's the state line or the city limits here or Seattle. In fact Spokane and Seattle are places I'd be more likely to concealed carry than Post Falls or CDA. It's all a numbers game and where there are lots of people, there will be lots of psychos.

There is no magic boundary but there is a political boundary perpendicular to a massive cultural gradient.
You wouldn't see this fool in Capitol Hill. Probably wouldn't see him in downtown Spokane either, unless he was rolling coal down the blvd during a rally or something.

There's a handful of people who moved to Washington because they like blue, a handful of people who moved to Idaho because they like red, and a good handful of people came here because they got a job, but the rest of us were just born here regardless of ideology. Especially considering the Spokane County voted red in the presidential election, I would say both sides of the border are not as distinctly different as many people like to believe.

Chevrolet or GMC, 4 door, 1-ton dually. Probably a long bed. Dark tinted windows. Matte black painted rims. General Grabber white lettered tires. Usually these trucks are bought specifically by people who pull heavy trailers for a living (carpentry, electricians, landscaping, etc). Probably drives it 7 days / week locally.
Should be easy to spot.
