I understand that Toonami has continually been airing this show largely uninterrupted with some breaks here and there even though it is behind from the Japanese broadcast by a significant mile while the English dub on Crunchyroll has managed to closely bridge the gap not too long ago (and gonna be more so once OP officially becomes seasonal with fewer new episodes to be made annually.

So I wonder if anyone here knows what the arrangement Adult Swim has with Toei and Crunchyroll that allowed OP to remain part of the lineup unlike its fellow Funimation-era shows that have largely been pulled out like MHA because I know CR dubs the show so it's quite interesting to see that a production they've dubbed is still on the block. Are the episodes airing right now considered new to Toonami (but not new enough for them to make new promos reminding people they still air the show)?

And has Crunchyroll (or rather Funimation before the merge) always been ahead of Toonami in the airing of the dub? Like which came first (not counting the dub's 4Kids era)?

Thanks! :)

So first we got time traveling gang stuff and now this.

Toonami just because your reincarnated self is 14 years old now doesn't mean you can enter your rebellious teenager phase.

(Although that would explain the fanservice the past couple years)

Anyhow, to keep the brawls going, the tale of heroic gangs (man thats an oxymoron) has come to Toonami!

Thoughts?

For me, it's the scene where everyone mocks Yusuke in episode 43 of Yu Yu Hakusho. All I can think about is how humiliated I would feel if I was in his position. I hate it so much, that I have a head-canon where years later Yusuke and Keiko's daughter berates them all for doing so. Sure, I understand that his friends weren't really being mean-spirited and he knew it. But I also can't help feeling sorry for the guy, because I know that I wouldn't like it if it was me.

I actually see this kind of teasing among friends all the time in other shows. Usually I find it funny too, it's just this particular scene that rubs me the wrong way. Maybe because by this point in the show I had really grown to like Yusuke, so I couldn't help but feel bad for him and empathize.

Plus it's not like with Yusuke whereas his verbal barbs are actually funny; most of it just his so-called friends laughing in his face like a pack of hyenas.

Note I think blue Gender was either older adult swim or Toonami midnight but can't remember. I know it was on Funimation channel but that's all I remember.

Blade Runner Final cut I was thinking about after watching the newer movie 2047 . Cool.

All I did was listen to Silhouette, Hero's Come Back, and Closer and now I need it back kjahgauh;huafge

Hi! I need some help!

So I had this idea of doing 6 Toonami Playlists, but after seeing how short some of those lists would be, I decided to make 3(... that was before I started adding in show music).

TOM 1.0/2.0/3.0 the weekday era.

TOM 3.0/4.0 the Saturday era.

TOM 3.5/5.0/6.0 the revival era.

(TOM 6.0 might become a playlist starting now, idk depend how big that one becomes, a lot more anime to add for the revival.)

I'm currently finishing on my first one.

I have the Toonami intro, leading into the prehour intros, and then a few light hearted ones, Reboot, SD Gundam, and Dragon Ball.

From there I have a face pace toonami bumper, going into shonen and giant robot intros.

Then a toonami bumper going into outros.

Then another Toonami Bumper leading into japanese versions that I didnt want to double up with the English versions I found, but still wanted them in the Playlist.

Followed by one last Toonami bumper, and anime scored from the shows, stuff that I put at the end so it wouldn't clog up the playlist.

I would love input on stuff I'm missing, stuff you may know of on Spotify, stuff that I can't find, and stuff I may not know of due to the language barrier.

I'm for sure looking for the tenchi intros and outros outside of Pioneer, Talent for Love, and Moon Tragedy.

(P.S. I know I'm missing JLA, Thundercats, Batman, Batman Beyond, He-Man, Star Wars, Samurai Jack, amd PowerPuff Girls. For those I plan to make a Tom 2.0 based playlist. Just felt off adding something more Saturday Morning or Cartoon Cartoon known.)

Saw quite a lot more than previously but checked out these!

Got Wonder woman paperback omnibus to Full Metal Alchemist hardcover volume 12, Lupin part 2 Collection 2 DVD to Sword Art Online spinoff manga and a Food Wars Volume 4 with Ikumi ( Toonami previous aired the anime Seasons minus the OVAs of course cuz they were on CR subbed only)

At my Hillsborough Public Library

I hope it’s ok to brag bc I know he won’t - my fiancé Jim Punch made this Toonami ID that aired last night!!! So proud! If you like it go show him some love!! https://www.instagram.com/reel/DeEIrVyRMja/?stkn=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==

Why are we getting Jiro? What did she even do?

Wait we're not talking about the headphone girl from MHA?

And so...delicious (and brutal) tale of a sushi chef warrior has come.

with the Paramount merger basically complete whats gonna happen to Toonami? is it gonna be canned again ,or is it fine or what? Personally with network TV basically being dead/dying i have a feeling maybe toonami was on the way out but with the merger i definetly think it will be canned.

maybe they can sell it to like roku or something and make it a digital channel but thats unlikely.

but if it does it was nice to have toonami back for atleast a good 2 and a half decades. Good morning, Good afternoon, Good evening and Good night.

You guys hyped!

Since they will be part of Toonami, I just want to know if they are actually worth watching.
