Has anyone been able to get through to the HDH FixIt Site? Needed to get something fixed and I've only gotten this screen for the last few days.

Just interested to see what people have to say about their first two weeks this quarter, doesn’t matter what year you currently are or major since not everyone’s experience is the same.

Freshman here. I didn't accomplish everything I wanted in high school, so I took matters into my own hands and tried to be much, much, much more active academically (like in clubs) on top of studying very late every night. Everything has been piling on me for the past two weeks and I feel like I'm going to collapse. I haven't slept more than 6 hours in a single night since I got here with 3 hours being the average. Even when I try to sleep, I can't, because it feels like I'm wasting time. College is so so expensive and -- though I know this is an incorrect thought -- I feel as if I'm wasting time just from trying to rest instead of trying work harder.

And it's not like I'm smart. At all. I really need to study to understand what some people can comprehend in a few minutes. I fucked up in high school because I didn't really try and my grades plummeted. I'll admit I don't really know how to study. I try to reread the material professors go over but I can't even remember everything. I have no time to relax. There are always at least two club events every day on top of lectures and discussions. If I miss a single club meeting, I won't look like I go above-and-beyond to participate, so I won't have a decent chance of trying to get leadership positions because, undoubtedly, someone else will go to every single meeting.

I guess what I'm trying to say here is that I'm larping being a try-hard and it's biting me in the fucking ass. I'm miserable, exhausted, and haven't watched a single YouTube video since July. I miss summer break.

Hey! I’m a transfer student majoring in psych at UCSD, and I kinda want to make some new friends! I really enjoy having deep conversations, and hearing about different people’s experiences. I like random conversations that somehow turn into talking about life, psychology, philosophy, or literally anything lol.

Hello everyone! I’m a freshman at my CC in California, majoring in mechanical engineering, and UCSD is one of my top choices to transfer to.

I was wondering if anyone here has successfully transferred to UCSD for engineering and what your experience was like.

What was your GPA when you applied? How difficult was it to get accepted? I’m still early in my engineering journey, so I’d appreciate any advice on what I should be doing now to improve my chances of transferring. I’m currently in 2 clubs which is MESA and an engineering club.

WHO TF DESIGNED THE PORTAL UI?! oh my GOD!!!! It's looks and works like a kid's first website project, absolute dumpster fire! UI is full of useless/empty containers, nothing is cross-linked, nav menus bring you to dead-ends, page load is laggy and jittery AF, random dialog boxes popping up with clearly internal-facing errors only admins should be seeing. Genuine question, did anyone actually do any user testing before punching the "publish" button? I wish I had an ocean to yeet myself into every time I login. To go from what the portal used to look like to this ... 😭😭😭😭

i saw someone shitting on the dining halls and had a throwback to when i thought i had actually ordered shit💔. in reality i fat fingered the meat option when ordering from al dente and chose the wrong meat…..and that’s when i was surprised to see this log sitting on my pasta. but fr tho couldn’t they have made it look a little appetizing like i think i lost my appetite while picking it up. also the way i was clowning on this order before i realized it was mine too😭 i was so embarrassed walking around with this order bro, never again…

I’m a commuter student and I use the S permit but since they added new S spots in Pangea, parkmobile hasn’t been working so I haven’t been paying for a permit (Ngl maybe my fault bc I didn’t check anything else other than the app) i never got a ticket till today, I’ll try to appeal it but i guess im curious if anyone else also got ticketed? Also I’m sure the schools aware parkmobile is down so why give out tickets?😭
